The engine doesn't feel that outdated, but I'm not sure what I'm comparing it to...but yeah
Well they did a major overhaul with this new Draenor expansion...they made better quality models and stuff and the animation is a bit different...it's not that 'blocky' as it was in the past...
Nah it looks pretty good. I just hit lvl 90 and began WoD content. With each expansion the visual quality is higher, say after Burning Crusade. And yeah they're still in the middle of major model overhauls (Worgen and Goblin next), and that stuff was added to the game even without buying the expansion, so that's cool.

An interview with Diana Garnet, who made the song for the new Naruto Shippuuden ED. What's interesting here is that she comes from the US and later went to Japan to realize her dream there. Pretty interesting interview I daresay.

I wasn't speaking about the Emerald Dream lulz, with old I meant just like with Dreanor around 40 years ago if the current event, with all the Great Nations like Gilneas etc fighting out a war etc. The guy in the vid you posted was talking about it.
Tbh I'm not too enthusiastic about a possible Emerald Dream expansion though. I guess it could be fun in some way, but there are more interesting concepts in my eyes.
And I would prefer it if Burning Legion would just be one thing, not divided into attack and an invasion of Argus like the guy in the vid said, where you seem to get most ideas from

lol, yeah emo ost but I'm not in the mentality to feel sad about it either =P I get more nostalgic from the ED tbh.
The visual quality is rather extremely improved in WoD. The most obvious is how good the zones look, and with superb variety within the zones. You never feel like you just walk in the exact same landscape forever. I'd say the engine isn't outdated at all at this point, but gives Blizzard increasing challenges. Overall I like how the game looks now, I'm very impressed with this expansion. Textures look crisp and effects/models smooth. In raids the quality of graphics is very high compared to previous expansions where the demand was lower (and then it looked good too for that time). You just need the PC to run the high quality.

Yep, I have huge respect for people who actually attempt such a massive step. Considering that back then anime/manga were way less popular/known I imagine it was a pretty risky thing to do. Yeah, I don't expect it either. Wasn't really saying that you got your ideas from there, just used it to made clear that I wasn't talking about Emerald Dream but Azeroth from the past. Emerald Dream has been discussed since Vanilla, at this point I don't really think it's coming but with Blizz you never really know. Any combination with the Old Gods theme is good to me, I just don't want another nonsense exp like pandaria but stuff that actually has meaning and is somewhat appealing.
On the other hand they went through W3 content so fast that everything since Cataclysm stopped being related to that, so I'm just not as hyped as I was in the past. That's especially why I think Blizz does consider a W4, so that people actually feel a closer connection to the content instead of new stuff hardly featured before/only known to people who are really into the story. Would always be in for BL expansion though, obviously. Nah, just 6 months since the first season (was said in the first episode, you didn't watch it yet?

I honestly don't think Blizz will ever pull a MOP again. I wouldn't say WOD is anything like it. It feels like an asspull, but at the same time it's very WARCRAFT. Like Blizz said in the reveal, they're taking us back to the roots of Warcraft. The main reason MOP failed was because it didn't feel like Warcraft. It would have been a good game on its own, if you pretend it was another franchise and that subs were good, but it was awful within the universe of Warcraft. While WOD is an asspull too, it's way more appealing because the content reminds people of why they loved the game in the first place, not to mention the content being extremely well done (except the first raid premise being dull which we both agreed on). BTW next raid has Blackhand as the last boss.

I bet I will return for the next major patch, if not at least for the last big patch of the expansion. Gary is 92 or something now so I'll play a bit with him when he dings 100 (he's playing his Alliance Monk so you can join too if you feel like/have sub time still). Got to say I really enjoyed lvling an Alliance, but again I was kind of stuck "rushing" through the content since I played with a mate. I'd like to play through the zones alone for once and really take my time, pay attention to the story and stuff in more greater detail. As a side note if you didn't see the WoW thread, I must say Alliance starting zone >>> Horde. It's strange since the xpac has such a Horde centric theme, but I loved the story and atmosphere of Shadowmoon Valley. The Alliance Garrison is also way cooler than the Horde Garrison honestly. I feel more at "home" in it. It's also more centrally located, lol. Wish there was more exciting end game content honestly, since the build up was so damn good. Maybe I should get into PvP since that kind of "never" gets old and I actually love WoW pvp as a rogue.

For some days I played many hours to get from 90-100 on my huntard since I played with a mate and he kept pushing me to "keep up". A few hours WoW and no LoL. The only time I've played LoL in over a week was some games yesterday. Been busy with rl things and personal stuff. The rest of the time I've played WoW and done non-MH/manga stuff. wow such interesting story!

Yeah the last episode I checked out was the episode where Gaara talked to Shukaku and somehow the producers threw us into a huge Gaara centric flashback episode to break the intensity of the plot. I was like "OK time to quit this anime again". I really wish they would stop adding so much filler content to prolong the plot since it really disturbs the flow of the plot and makes the story just messed up and "cluttered"... I get that they want to prolong the anime with filler arcs and that's (kind of surprising now) okay, but please stop with all those god damn flashbacks and weird breaks... meh...
Sounds like a fairly average week. Sometimes you just get used to something (like you being here regularly) and when that's suddenly not the case you're all "wat?". Same like I would wonder if Sky or gary would be gone for days xD
Sorachi's been hinting at the manga being close to it's last arc, as things are now I can't really see the old "fun" days return until the very end... do you think Kondo/Matsudaira are really going to be killed? At this point nothing would surprise me.

I imagine if they actually manage to come close to their rescue, they will prolly succeed. Another "failed" attempt to save someone, like with Shigeshige, would just be too harsh xD Liked the whole speech between Gintoki and Kondo, so I hope the monkey survives!I doubt it for Kondo, but Matsudaira is 100% expendable (to the fanbase). His death would leave an impact on the story for "free", but I don't see the big point to it. He's a strong leadership figure for a rebuilding government. I think Gintoki & Co will crash the party and rescue them with Toshi and Okita.
Yeah seems like it can't really turn back to normal now. When Sorachi entered these tracks it's kind of hard to just throw "filler" in. I mean anime studios do it in e.g. Naruto because "they can", but it would be bad for the story. Straight from one serious arc to another. I think we can get some comedy mixed in here and there obviously, like normal, but no random episodic chapters perhaps.

Not exactly an average week
Yeah I can get where you're coming from. I'm kind of "lost" now with what to do as well. I kind of want to level a warrior or paladin, but at the same time I lack the motivation to grind them up. Will probably leave them for my next play time when I have more motivation.
Yeah I feel the same. I'd rather have filler I can choose to skip, rather than be annoyed at the butchering of the story. People can argue the story already sucks, but the anime makes it even worse at times. The constant flashbacks is so stupid.
And lol, OP anime? HAHAHAHHAA. Who gives a SHIIIIIIT.
Which reminds me, that cover page with Gintoki making fun of the next anime season and the fact that they said "this will be the last" so many times was awesome x'D
