50 without a dictionary.

I have a decent vocabulary.

I have donated 400 grains of rice with the help of my dictionary. I got hit with some words I have never heard of. I would try back later and I hope I get some easy words next time.

Nice... although I wonder if it's really your English vocabulary you're improving, since a good chunk of the "high-level" words are plain French.

it froze when I hit 1000...oh well, I did my part for the day!

So many of those words I've never heard of, but recognize the root and got the word correct. They sound like made-up mishmashes of the words I do know and some funky ending

Like "Pudency". The correct answer was "modesty." I chose that because it sounds like "prudent." Yet it sounds fake and made up because it's so close but it's not the word! A lot of these must be old english or something.

My best was 43 with dictionary (1st 2 qns) then i dropped all the way to 9 then back up to abt 27... I gave up after getting 10020 grains.. At 10000, it says sth like 'That's impressive'... As soon as i got 5-6 corrects, 2 wrongs and 2 lv down... but well it's juz a game and is for a good cause..maybe i'll try to improve =)
