Let's breathe some fire into this place again. I'm impressed how the mangaka can still come up with very cool ways to use the fire powers in this, the flame tattoos or whatever you want to call them are definitely the biggest highlight we've seen in the more recent chapters of the manga.

@eefrit I think the name of the thread should be Fire Force, since that is the official name, can you please change it?

The art is incredible and on point.

Find it weird how this one gets no love at all while 1 issue of a new series by Fairy Tail's author has 22 pages, lol.

I'll say i'm enjoying this series, too bad no one here seems to care about it. At least it is ongoing and doesn't appear to be in danger of being cancelled.

Yea i love how the series can use fire in so many different ways.
It feels similar to how Toriko could use food in so many ways.
The Japanese are way more creative and open minded than people are here in the west that very rarely tries to do new, different and creative things nowadays.
Most of the time when people see new and different things here they just think its weird and stupid but the Japanese tries new and different stuff all the time.

The bolded and underlined ones are battle shounens like Fire Force. This isn't the most accurate metric, but it's better than nothing. Nanatsu no Taizai seems to be an exception with its very quick anime announcement and clearly Fire Force never got this treatment. I think things like Fairy Tail and Code Breaker are more indicative of when we can potentially see a Fire Force anime announcement. Fire Force has 135 chapters right now, so maybe we can finally see an announcement at least, after an announcement happens then there will be another 6-8 month wait...

Thanks for the information i was worried that Fire Force was not gonna get an anime but seems its still very possible if most other series from that magazine got there animes announced around the same amount of chapters or later.
I just want it confirmed that the series is getting an anime soon so i dont need to worry about that anymore and after that waiting a while for it to start wont be that terrible.
Edens Zero is in the same magazine i think so i guess it will probably get an anime at around 140 or a little later maybe too.

Hallelujah thanks for telling me this amazing news.

I love Fire Force so im extremely happy that its getting an anime and i hope this will make the series way more popular here in the west.
That it got an anime probably means that its already a very popular series in Japan.

I really hope the Fire Force anime will have great art and animation.
The only anime made by David Production i have seen is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and that series feels different from shounens like Fire Force, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and Fairy Tail to me so i hope David Production can animate this kind of Naruto like shounen anime great too.

Awesome! i only hope the anime is more true to the manga. Soul Eater took some turns that were just not nearly as good as what the manga had, so I hope they don't screw up another of his manga's in the adaptation.

Yea and i hope the Fire Force anime will continue until the end of the manga story.
The reason why the Soul Eater anime got a different ending was because it was cancelled long before the end of the manga.

I never really appreciated how varied and complex all these characters are in personality, motivations, and characterizations. This past arc did a damn good job at presenting strong characters that walk their own paths of morality.

I'm glad it's getting an anime, and I hope the manga has gone on long enough that we don't have to deal with much filler or a different ending.

As for the current chapter, Arthur leaving his "subjects" was funny, and Giovanni is really going all in on the bug theme.
