When the series started, Shin was shown as a strong character but nothing like Iroi. Somehow during their conflict, Shin was suddenly portrayed as strong as Iroi. Even in this chapter, he was shown to be the deadliest among the current Ogame school. I have nothing against his character, but his transformation to, perhaps, the strongest in Ogame school isn't convincing to me. I still think Iori is stronger than him. He chose not to lead rather than he was beaten for it. It could be we weren't shown his other side that Banri was talking about.

Moving on, I am glad we didn't see Maryuma Brothers battle in detail. Banri vs. Shin, Shin will of course win, but how many injuries are inflicted, that will be something to look for.

After reading the chapter I think Thorn, you will change your mind regarding Shin.

The difference between Shin and Banri was devastating, Banri, who is among the Divine Spear regarded as a genius. Couldn't keep up or rather put up a fight against our Shin, the new head of the Ogame school. With this display of power I'd say that he is definetly at the same level as Iori. Shin didn't waste time in the past year.

Banri realy disapointed. His great atack is just try to pierce the enemy multiple times? At least he gave a smile at the end that might mean it isn't over yet...

That's exactly what it means, don't read too much into the battle thus far. One of Jin's personal guard wont get one shotted(one attack) by the Ogame school.

IMO, Iori was stronger one year ago & is still stronger now.

if they didnt know each other this well god knows who might take the initiative and kill the other first

shin's sword is so fast that you cant even see it coming but on the other hand iori may easyly cut you in 2 together with your sword while you think you blocked it just fine

i truly believe its one of the most unpredictable battles ever

Some of my previous states that i believe Iori is stronger by a good margin...
I would be disapointed if Banri got one-shoted obviously, but that would just mean he was weaker than we thought and Iori would defeat him with bare hands lol

From the looks of it, it seems like Banri isn't called a divine spear for nothing. But the way Shin managed to see through his other technique makes the gap between them clear for me. And somehow I have a feeling that Shin will win Banri to fight alongside them or that Zenmaru has grown that much that he can take down Ango's entire squad by himself! Because there's no way that Zenmaru or Shin will fight him in their current condition... The ogame school is in a serious situation right now 2 advisors and 2 personal guard members are in their vicinity...

Zenmaru & Shin looked not too good in this chapter. They are hurt & not fighing 100%, way less than 100% for Zenmaru. But Iori is there ...
I would like to see Zenmaru shine a little again. Because so far, he seems like the weakest link again. I wouldn't go as far as "hindrance" but still ...

It's important to remember that Zenmaru is fighting at 60% at the moment. Shin on the other hand was just lame.

What an appearance by Iori. I expected him to appear but still I was happy to see him. I was wrong about Shin beating Banri with ease, and I think the Yousuke chose the correct action. It also leaves a room for improvement of Shin's part. I am waiting eagerly for the next chapter, we are going to see how strong Iori has become. I have been of the opinion that he is stronger than Shin.

He was stronger than Shin before, and by the way he lectured Shin he seems still stronger now.... Zenmaru is fighting without his big sword (forgot the name), so he isn't good now!
Banri and two advisors plus the underlings vesus Iori, old geezer, Shin and the not so great Zenmaru. If Gama arrives with Zen's sword things may become equal, But now Muhou school still has the upper hand.

Shin confirmed it after their duel on Juuren Mountain, that Iori held back in his attacks. By how much he held back it's something we still don't know but I think that Shin was able to shorten their gap. He used a chain of attacks just like Iori did against him.
