Type A - The most manly of manly men are being nominated who are guys other guys can respect and are awesome characters, probably a favorite character, but may not be the best husbando.

Type B - Guys that girls legit want to bang/marry/fangirl over.

Type C - like I said before - Troll noms

My nomination got the A and B, and is C for most of all other noms.

Kenshin was a good cross between the two main types last year. Badass main character, who guys could respect, but he had two romances (1) with Tomoe (wasn’t that her name in samurai X?) and (2) his main story with Kaoru before settling down to married life. Plus he was up against another strong opponent from Gintama, Sakara Gintoki. While I never got into Gintama, Kenshin in RK was always a very house broken MC, as he did the laundry and cooked and normally wife chores while Kaoru taught her little dojo.

And as a female that’s very husbando quality....

While males want that librarian in the street, and a freak in the bed..... girls want a male house wife on the street and a samurai in the bed.

Mine's sort of a cross between A and B. Natsume is a fan favorite in his series and an awesome character with great development, and with B, he's.... well...

My point with the grouping (besides snubbing some of the nominee choices, of course) was to point out the highest two guys from last year sort of balanced between type A and type B. Maybe Kenshin having more domestic qualities (as tales of the wandering samurai was romanticized more especially with Kaoru as a MC who’s POV we saw a lot through) gave him a boost?

I’m not sure about your Natsume, @Elusia, because I’m not familiar with him but he sounds good!!

Unlike the other groupings of nominees previously mentioned in this contest, I don’t believe he is type A, type B, type C or the combo type D. His category is Type F, an honor only he holds because who could compare...?

Besides maybe one of his sisters...

Remember any of those old pastry cartoons where the gingerbread man dates the angel food cake and the devil cake tried to steal her. Then Gingerbread man saves her.

Katakuri is like the Devil Food cake.

Only good in small doses....

Added: Just noticed Devil Food cake had a trident too.

So type F is for the food men that’s sweet to taste but bad for your health.

There are other interesting surnames like "Gay" and "Butt".

Also @Belserion While I do think Zero is best Husbando for Yuki, he's not best overall Husbando. That belongs to Kaien, Toga, or Kain.
