Black Hole Tokugawa/PoP Oni/Byodoin are far too strong for any middle schooler. So no, no MSer can defeat them now.

I'm starting to think Tezuka can match them.

Tezuka has no experience against the strongest players. When he does, he'll have a chance.

PoP Oni might not be that out of reach. We knows that Kintarou go 1-1 with him, and that's better feat than anything Sanada can claim at least.

Well neither has Kintarou yet he still took games from POP Oni.

The reason why Oni is somewhat beatable is because he also has very little experience against top players, though in his case it's because he stopped caring about playing well probably because everyone around him totally sucks anyway.

That's not true, we know Oni at least play against Byoudonin and Shuuji before. That's 2 more person than Kintarou, who is 0 at that point.

Oni also holds back most of the time.

Oni participated in the WC two years ago, so he must've picked up some experience against international players there. However, since he didn't play S1 and we don't know how early Japan was eliminated by France, it's hard to say how much exactly. Personally, I think the only one on the Japanese team whose experience is at least kind of comparable to Volk's (not equal though) is Byoudouin since he traveled so much - Duke is probably second in terms of experience. Oni has some, but apparently not to the extent that he could just walk over people who don't have any based on just that.

Assuming he get PoP, i think he can beat Tanegashima. I'm still not sure on Oni and Tokugawa though.

PoP toyama took a few games from oni and yukimura was infinitely better than regular toyama so he should be able to take at least as many games against oni as toyama and most likely more.

Not quite. Kintarou took 1 game from Oni. And I don't think it's right to say Yukimura is bettet than 10 ball Kintarou. We do not kniw that at all

I'm pretty sure Tanegashima has at least some other technique or skill as the Japan No. 2 and going even with Oni. Sure Oni was not at full power but Tanegashima seems too cocky to be implying he is weaker than Oni.

There's too many cocky player in this series and cocky does not quite means skills. Look at super tennis.

Not saying Tanegashima is weak, but his confidence is irrelevant to his skill.

Possibly. The question is, if he's healthy. We all know that he's still not 100%. So a 100% PoP Yukimura is quite strong.
