So every time someone has used CoC coating they name the attack divine or after a god, this leads me to believe.

Zoro has been using azura since before he had a notion of haki (though it's not entirely absurd that some form of proto haki played a part in it as well as in other skills). Techniques are usually named as part of whichever martial art the user practices, not based on the haki type used.

Yer, but look at Yamato, Kaido and Rogers Coc attacks they all refer to a god or events containing gods like ragnarok, or the prefix “divine”. I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch for Zoro to draw on his Haki even pre time skip.

We are going to get an explanation of Ashura sooner or later. It is still the most asspull power up in One Piece that cannot be explained.

My bet is that it's a bloodline thing and it passed from Ryuma down to his descendants. But it has to be rooted in some form of haki/haki like ability. I'd what else it could be.

A form of advanced coc beyond the advanced CoC we have seen so far?

I think it's a pretty safe bet that zoro did not use CoC cladding back in the day. Even recently zoro's attacks don't have the black streaks that other cladding users have shown. To me it makes more sense to think of these techniques as simply being their stronger or perhaps strongest techniques. In which case it makes sense for them to be named like that regardless of CoC cladding or not. Add to that the weird coincidences that would be required otherwise. Like zoro accidentally following a standard naming convention based on CoC cladding without even being aware of haki.

I don’t think any conquer names there CoC attacks on purpose I think it’s just a narrative technique to show that the technique contains CoC coating. I agree it’s unlikely for Zoro to use proper coating, maybe he could of drawn out the smallest fraction.
