I don't think so considering the popularity of the series. The first ones are among the most popular WSJ, and some mangakas listed don't even have their works published in WSJ.

Honestly, by this point, i'd absolutely watch a spinoff anime of HxH and fanboy it.
At least if it is done by madhouse.

I would watch it too.... Jewel Hunter Biskychan or Biskychan and 7 emeralds...

Or a story on ZOldyck's assassination missions.... Hisoka's past etc.... I probably care more abt Hisoka than any other character..

Hell I'd even watch 'noobcrusher Tonpa' and just watch hunter exams over and over.

But it ain't gonna happen <: The high hopes for the movies were destroyed too, the movies, while having there moments, were very bad in regards of their storyline.

It's not even the production value bugging me, but the movies felt out of place for an HxH related story in tone and new characters.
