But that Beta Heaven is Natsu's subconscious fantasy, his imagination/wish/hope/belief of what Afterlife is like for his brother, the 1st guildmaster and their children( of sorts), Igneel, Lucy's parents, etc. So it's not a real comeback, especially not on the same level as Serena, who is a living being in their actual verse, no matter how he came to exist.

But that Beta Heaven is Natsu's subconscious fantasy, his imagination/wish/hope/belief of what Afterlife is like for his brother, the 1st guildmaster and their children( of sorts), Igneel, Lucy's parents, etc. So it's not a real comeback, especially not on the same level as Serena, who is a living being in their actual verse, no matter how he came to exist.

I know, I'm just saying that is a further indication that Larcade is actually dead.

Plus, everything that happened in the main series, with him getting a hole blown through him and then getting completely vap'd by Zeref.

But then again, nothing makes sense in this spinoff. Eileen and Serena got retconned into being alive, so whatever. Wouldn't be surprised if Larcade magically turns out to be alive in the future

Did I miss a chapter where Eileen was revealed as alive and not an unrelenting ghost/soul who wouldn't go away? As far as this story goes, souls staying behind in the human world have been a thing since before Wraith's appearance; we had the 5 dragon souls hiding inside their respective dragon slayers, Mavis lingering just because something something both she and her killer were equally cursed and so on. Just saying, being an active ghost doesn't make you alive...

@Undina Has a point, I always said Irenes "return" was most logically done return in series. She did not come back alive with a convenient excuse that was forced. Lissana had her double die and swap places with her at right time, Mavis suddenly could be brought back and Hades never realized that and GS was found by other people while his own comrades thought him dead.
She was not at peace, in fact she was pissed that everyone got scot free while she suffered fore years throughout the fight, her killing herself was more of her Maternal Insticts to protect Erza from herself, not because she wanted end herself, her doing body swapping (without swapping) at last second, Is an understandable extension of her desire to live a normal life. Done with skill we know she has, has motivation behind it, is not an instant fix (She still needs a body) which indicates her being part of mini arc. Just because we know that she will get body sooner or later, does not change the journey that they gonna took for it to happen is going to well, happen and is interesting to people. Similar to Lucy getting Aquarius key, we know its happening so does it make it bad? no.

I've never denied this, I'm one of the people who think her biggest bid would be Selene's own body, cause she has the freedom to go back and forth between forms too, not to mention the natural dragon power. And Eileen was already portrayed in the original as in a permanent conflict with her own wishes, starting from her husband's betrayal.
I was confused about her being referrenced as confirmed alive, at this point she is still a soul/ghost vying for a new body. Semantics or not, it's the current reality.

She ain’t getting Selenes body, and that’s objective a fact. She will get a body eventually. Coincidentally, next arc has people who work with alchemy. That may be the chance for her to get a body.
