Well it seems that's around the time Mashima start his series but the earliest Mashima can start his new series would be July.

Well I that's a possibility since I think Mashima would want to start his new manga around the same time the anime starts but start his new series shortly after the spin offs finish.

I think he would first finish off the anime and then only start the new series coz I think there are going to be many changes in the anime to manga.

I agree, so if several spin offs are planned, by him and other they should not be slow in coming out.

History that if it draws one or two spin off (according to their size), it is finished for September / October.

If other author designs spin off, it does not matter if they are not finished for that date.

I would like him (mashima) to do at least a spin off, that of the quest of 100 years (and who would count in, lucy who finds the key to aquarius).

I would also like him to make a Zero FT 2 on zeref (see FTzero 3 on acno but he has the rigor he can leave it to another).

Afterwards for the rest, he can leave it to others.

Well to be honest I think Mashima will announce the anime around the same time when he starts his new manga but after the spin offs are finished.

I just think Natsu/Lucy are just dressing in kimonos to enjoy the New Year as well as play some Shogi since the kimono Natsu is wearing is also worn by Shogi players.
