I havent check with the comments since earlier this morning. I know there are nalu fans happy but are gruvia fans sharing their displeasure or the gruvia haters praising hiro on twitter?
It was the right decision to make by drawing the 3 ships of Lucy all together without excluding any of them so we could see Lucy's reaction in each. He drew Lucy before thinking of choosing Natsu or Gray or Loke as a way to display Lucy's possible ships. Now everyone knows that Lucy likes Natsu the most and it's very important to end it because he start it. With that being said, ppl still can delude themselves as they want nothing would change the fact, The sketch is clearing pointing for Lucy's interest and she does like Natsu the most. Regardless i didn't see how it can harm a canon ship in anyway. Gruvia is already canon, Loke is a celestial spirit, there is no chance for the dead ships to comeback not to mention Lucy's choice.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Mashima mentioned during the recent interview that the drawings on his Twitter have nothing to do main plot nor are they used to confirm ships their just drawed for fun and for the readers to remember the characters. Which is why Mashima won’t draw characters for his new series before he starts it which is why he mentioned that he already has said characters on his mind or something like that.
That when the series was still running, He already confirmed the ships in the interview. Anyways the main plot says Lucy cares for Natsu the most, Nothing new was added.
While this is true, Mashima does get harassed too much by shippers. I kinda think he likes it. His activity on his Twitter always increases when he posts shipping stuff and I think he posts controversial shipping stuff (Jerza where Erza is naked; Nalu in chains, this pokey thing, anything Gruvia) cuz it makes everyone more frantic. When the manga was on going he kept to more cute ship moments.
Now that he doesn't have a series his imagination is running wild

Nah, she's right. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual story, regardless if it was ongoing or ended. I think you guys are just looking at it too deep again. Why let anything that's not in the main story or what Hiro says isn't canon affect your way of thinking... I don't get it lol. FT is big on family and friendship, Hiro gonna draw whoever with whoever.
Nah he said it before on his twitter when the series was still running however mentioning that now is pointless since everything is settled. Anyways i'm not complaining because he drew Lucy with loke and gray, You can see how she is annoyed with them and how she is comfortable with Natsu.
