The image isn't even sexualized in the slightest and I know fabservice in FT, but he barely touches the younger girls like Wendy and such. He does it a few times I know, but that's it. He usually fanservice older characters like Lucy, Erza, Gray, etc. who are 18+.

So think your stretching confusing all fanservice on characters on same lvl here.

Even though the art was more detailed at the beginning in some ways then some of the later drawings of Alvarez, his art from the beginning of FT onward improved dramatically that it doesn't even look like the same author. His art got a lot smoother. So if you give the new guy a span of 5-10+ years.....
