YES THERE WAS A SPIN OFF. Which doesn't mean, that there can't be one more. I like this guild, Sabertooth and Crime Sorciere are my favourite guilds in manga, so it's natural, that I want to see and read more about them, right? Moreover, Sabertooth is second strongest guild in Fiore and Crime Sorciere is a powerful crew too and after seeing, how both guilds were treated by Mashima is last arc, I think they deserve a bit of justice, like their own mini arcs, where they can shine without being Fairy Tail's hype tools.

I remember years ago Mashima saying that he didn't intend to have Anskheram as an antagonist present at all.

IIRC that was for FT. If there is a sequel/spin-off then having ankseram as an enemy would basically make everything come full circle. Along with having the opportunity to give FT characters the occasional cameo.

Mashima is a multifaceted author, whatever he plans for the future I think he is going to have good success, since his Mangas have been highly accepted by a vast number of people

Would I like a sequel? Yes, I would love to, although so far Mashima has not put one in their stories. Although ... Would not it be great a Manga that would bring the descendants of all their long Mangas?

I say see one with Levin de Rave Master with descendienets of the characters of FT, Monster Hunter Orage and Monster Soul, would be something very good

Maybe i am reading Tokyo Ghoul and Attack on Titan,i really want Hiro to write a Seinen series after FT.A series much darker than Rave Master.I know if he wants he can do that.

Much earlier than Naruto and Boruto there have been thousands of sequels, not the inventors, long before Boruto was UQ Holders and Shaman King Flowers, meaning there would be no problem with it if Fairy Tail produced a sequel.

He said the FT story is over but he still had a lot of stuff to do on with projects.

So I think of spinn off, on zeref and acno made by him in sum of fairy tail zero 2.

+ More spinn off, on some perso during the year of training, lucy, jubia and other, but do by other young author as for the other spin off.

For are next manga I think he will stay in the heroic fantasy in shonen.

Something in the same spirit as RAVE and FT but a little more serious, I hope.

A 400 year spin off/ Fairy Tail Zero 2 seems very likely and would answer a lot of questions about 400 years ago that didn't get answered in the series. Even I would like to see a spin off about what some of the characters did during the time skip. I would also like to see same spin offs about what certain characters are doing after the war. Maybe Hiro's next series is a mix between a heroic dark henti fantasy series.

Fairy Tail sequel would be a bad idea. I certainly wouldn't read it. You know someone with no power can beat infinite because they have friends, why bother read a story like that, no tension and it is stupid.

I don't think Fairy Tail will get a sequel because all of Hiro's other manga never got a sequel. Which makes me think Hiro prefers to end his series at the end of that said manga and do projects for these series later on like Fairy Tail x Rave Master/Mashima still drawing Rave Master characters on his twitter. So I think future projects for Fairy Tail will be spin offs, ovas, Mashima drawing Fairy Tail characters on his twitter, and a new anime that's if there's still going to be another anime.

Considering the whole last arc of FT just reeks of burnout/ Mashima being bored of the series, I think he's done with FT, for now at least. I think I remember him saying he'd already started working on a completely fresh idea a while back too, can anyone find the exact quote?

I think he's done with Fairy Tail for good. I wouldn't mind a FT slice of life type material, as that was the best part of Fairy tail for me.

I have to agree with you on that. I won't mind more spin offs since the spin offs were always more enjoyable to read and at times better then the main series.

I have the feeling that Mashima might do something darker again. His writing makes me feel like he's grown bored of light shounen. Possibly a Dark Shounen like TPN.

I wouldn't mind Mashima's next manga being a dark shounen since one of the reasons I like the Tartaros arc was because of the dark elements and read series like Toyko Ghoul which I took break for a while because of Arima's death. But if Mashima's does do a dark shounen series I want it to be darker then Rave Master and there to be ghouls/vampires/yokai in it.
