Will we see Kite at all in this episode?

It could just be a brief flash of a memory. Like how it is in the manga.

Then it would leave the audience. Wait...who is that guy?
We're not too far away from Whale Island (where we stand a good chance of seeing Kite
via flashback)


Also speaking of Kite...I think he's going to end up having red hair and not orange this time. That should look rather interesting.

I mentioned this a few pages back. I think we may get a hint at him. A brief flash of him as Gon remembers Kite due to receiving a slap and scolding from Wing similar to that of what he receives from Kite.

I'd love to see a quick look at him, which will then get fully revealed later when he returns to Whale Island. Red hair would be interesting definitely.

On the very first color page of vol.1 kaito has blue hair. His skin tone is also kinda bluish and pale, and altogether it looks like he's some kind of walking dead or something... I hope Madhouse turns a blind eye to that page. Orange, red, either is fine with me... just not blue please.

The problem with using Togashi's colour pages as a guideline is that he doesn't have consistency. For example Gon's hair and clothes change colours nearly every time a colour page is drawn featuring him. The colour pages should be treated more as a rough guideline in my opinion.

I was actually going to mention that when I did an episode 42 comparison.
I was watching 42 and saw that and was like "Wait a minute!" Funny
how something like that doesn't seem like a big deal can actually rather
change the story when you think about it. Even if the actions are the same
the motives and what not change.

Also for one who might think I'm being picky with the 1999 series version of Gon vs Hisoka.

Not so. I actually rather enjoyed it and I think the 1999 series set the bar high which
I'm glad because Madhouse will have to do really well to surpass it (and if you are a true
hunter x hunter fan you'll WANT Madhouse to surpass it. A true HxH fan should ALWAYS
want a better Hunter x Hunter anime. Even Madhouse could be better) But also it's not
like the 1999 version of Gon vs Hisoka is impossible to surpass. There are a tiny few
things here and there that can be improved. Plus while the 1999 animation is good
it can be better.

Of course having Gon vs Hisoka be the LAST fight is a major improvement of it self.

Normally I wouldn't agree with this "true fan" stuff, but in this case you're right (imo). If you really love a series, you'd want to see it at its best possible level. I at this very momment I can tell you a list of things I would want to see imporved or wished would have been a case for. but before I go off topic, let me get back to HxH

If funi should get it as a dub, who would you want to voice Gon and Killua? I haven't really heard much of their kid roles and the closet I can get to is pride from FMA B, who I suppose can do killua. Gon I'm not sure, since in the last dub, the voice wasn't the problem, it was just that it sounded SO BLAND. like really the actor just didn't seem to care at all about his role.

Funimation did not dub Hunter x Hunter 1999, that was Ocean Group being contracted by Viz Media. That dub was quite simply bad.
I do not who can voice who but I do think Laura Bailey could do a good Killua and Brina Palencia could play Gon.

It might not be a good idea, but I always thought Barbara Goodson would do a good job voicing killua or possibly, maybe even gon if Funimation gets to dub it.

I wouldn't have a clue for Hisoka though. Maybe Travis Willingham?

I believe Jerry Jewell would be a good VA for Hisoka, and another VA that would be good is Robert McCollum for Chrollo.

I don't really know that much when it comes to dub VAs, but I think Crispin Freeman would make a pretty good Hisoka

on a side note, did anyone notice on the second ending (hunting for your dream), kurapika's eyes changed to blue? You can only see it for like a second toward the end of the credits when they reveal their hatsus, but weren't his eyes brown? Later on...

He wears black contact lenses to hide the scarlet eyes from the rest of the mafia members, could it be that they'll be blue lenses instead? It might not be that big of a deal, but it's curious to see why they would do this.
