Do you think we will see a Kurapika and Theta (and others) team up to fight Tserriednich?
Or do you think Tserriednich will survive the boat arc and make it to the dark continent?

I say we got basically four impending fates for the characters in the Succession War Arc/dark continent arc

1. Dies on the boat/dies at sea

2. Makes it to the Fake Dark Continent Island and stays there.

3. Dies in the Dark Continent/Dies in return journey

4. Survives and makes it back to home


Since it's been my prediction that the boat is going to sink I think 70% of the characters will perish although most would be very minor.
However I could see some major characters meeting this tragic end.

As for Kurapika I know there has been speculation that he could actually die in the Succession War Arc especially given the consequences
of Emperor Time. However instead of Kurapika outright dying I want to see him use Emperor Time to the point he's on the verge of death
and this happens at the same time the boat sinks. Then I want someone to rescue Kurapika from drowning and have him make it to the Fake Dark Continent
but still be on the verge of death from Emperor Time.

I think the Fake Dark Continent should become an emergency make shift hospital where Leorio's skills are put to the test.

This could also add to the Leorio/Ging relationship as Leorio might have to count on Ging to find the "phoenix down" to save Kurapika's life.

Sure Leorio could travel to the Dark Continent himself and be a part of that expedition.
But I feel like Leorio having to care for possibly thousands of patients in critical care with his best friend Kurapika being in the most dire situation
would really bring his story arc full circle.

I think Theta will try to cooperate with Kurapika. Everyone is slowly realizing how much of a threat he is.

I don't think the boat will sink at all but if it does how will they reach the dark continent?

Am I the only one who hopes Theta doesn't turn into a Komigu in this arc? the way Tserriednich said he liked what she did and women like that attracted him.

Can't see that happening. Theta has been working for Tserriednich for years and doesn't like his personality. She knows he is evil and that's why she wants to kill him. Meruem wasn't even a year old.

The boat is just for getting to the Fake Dark Continent. Since I predict the boat will sink I think they will reach the Fake Dark Continent by life boats.

As far as getting to the actual Dark Continent. I'm pretty sure that is where the Gatekeeper and The Guide comes into play.

The Black Whale has a boat INSIDE a boat. It was meant to sink - and is going to. Maybe even the first floor (which is another boat)

What do you guys think about possibilities of Tserr possessing the rest of Dark Sonatas?

I don't see Tserriednich surviving past this arc.

Yeah, I want him dead too at the end of this arc. Don't get me wrong the guy is incredibly compelling, but I want him to fall... hard. I don't care by who. Theta, Kurapika, or Melody.

I can see him related to it at some point, but Im fairly certain that the sonata belongs to the new Continent and i believe it might be related to the twisted bodies. If my memory serves right ( I will check later) Senritsu arm was similar to this.

I think if Tserriednich had the Sonata of Darkness he would have been affected by it.

But maybe since he is a smart person he used some of his subjects as pawns to see if its effects are real. I doubt he has something like this though, because the princes in general didn't believe in something "supernatural" like Nen.

Saving the SoD plot for other arcs is better IMO.

EDIT: I remembered that there are four parts so it could be interesting if someone on this ship had at least one but I'd prefer the holder to be someone who was already a Nen User like Benjamin.

It seems the Sonata's are related to Pap. "A trade-off between life and pleasure" fits the song and Senritsu's abilities. Also, Pap and Ai (Nanika) are the only ones which some of its victims have also been found in the known world.

I would like her to partner with Kurapaika and in return Kurapaika would protect her.
Wouldn't it be possible to use that teleport ability from Know to ''hide and seek(????!!!!)'', if that happened? I just don't remember if it has a distance restriction or something like that.

Tbh that feels like something Togashi would have Kurapika do so I am expecting it.

actually I think there will be a mad scramble for the life boats and nen users will use their abilities to kill others for a spot on a boat.

of course I do think some nen users will act noble and help others instead of themselves.

it will be chaos

Ok look. Yes obviously Togashi has serious health issues but hippo attacks kill even those in great shape,
Maybe you think you don't have to worry about hippo attacks but Harambe never thought he'd get shot.

Therefore, let's just try to appreciate that we actually know that Togashi is drawing right now.
Who knows how it will turn out but I think it's pretty cool just knowing that Harambe is never really gone because he lives on in our memories.

I was just speculating about the release of chapters 391-400 since he is fixing certain things and is done with 391-394.

I don't understand if he is referring to Vol.37 or 38

His work on Volume 37 is done so it should be the cover page of a chapter. 401 or 402.
