I expected everything except Gon being on the cover of this volume. In fact, I think something similar has already happened with a character that didn't appear and a volume was created with him on the cover.

If it does end up moving, I think it’ll at least run a few chapters in WSJ (like what World Trigger and Ruri did before their moves).

If he doesn’t stay in WSJ, I agree that Jump+ is most likely. On the other hand, I’m not sure Togashi would want to be on a digital-only platform when he’s still analog. Just as a matter of principle.

Yes that's right an entire shonen manga
series began and completed during the break. It was three volumes. Did anyone read it?

I don't know about Jiangshi X but I read Choujin X and it's pretty good.

How high do you think is the possibility that we'll get 20 chapters in a row? (Excluding magazine breaks) Usually the new volume is released as he returns but this time the manga is scheduled to return a month later and he is working on the 418th chapter already.

It’s definitely not guaranteed, but yeah, that month gap makes it more likely. We’ll see if he keeps posting drafts daily.

Obviously this is a wild guess and it might just be monthly or longer between chapters
but I think biweekly with three months breaks could work really well for everyone.

It could work well for Togashi in that he can work at a more relaxed pace than weekly.


It could work well for Jump in that instead
of just selling one volume a year they sell
two volumes a year maybe even three

It could work well for us readers
because it's more Hunter x Hunter

I think this is very possible if Togashi's
is more reliant on his assistants to do
stuff like inking or shading or whatever
while he just focuses on pencils

But I could be wrong. Either way I'm just happy it's back
