Re: Gon vs. Feitan

Gon win. the latest manga where Gon evolve into KILLER MODE. will pwn him. Feitan speed isnt nowhere Gon level, He wont even hit Gon at all.

Feitan wont even touch Pitou at all. His level only up to Chimera ants soldier. His level is nowhere up against to Chimera Royal guards.

Re: Gon vs. Feitan

Well, I assume gon won't go into his adult form as he was not able to do so in the last thread with him.

I lean towards feitan. As a more experienced nen user and having a certainly more developed hatsu, I think he would have an edge. Gons nen flow is awkward as pointed out by knuckle. In that sense, I don't think gon's movements would be hard to predict for feitan in the least. Even knuckle had a relatively easy victory with gon when he fought even if he was indeed surprised a couple of times. Gon has a surprising amount of nen but against someone experienced he is still lacking IMO.

Rock is virtually unusable in most scenarios. It has a long charging time and gon's movements can be read easily. It is certainly capable of actually hurting feitan but I don't think he would be able to use it to its full intended capacity. Paper is slow and weak. That combination is terrible. Gon won't get more than one feint through it either. Scissors seems to actually be useful but I doubt getting into a swordfight with feitan would be useful. Anyways, I would think gons sword would break like butter if feitan imbues his own with nen, after all gon's hatsu is but months old.

Gon does not have his adult form in the tournament. He is still at his regular kid form.

Re: Gon vs. Feitan

Feitan would win with pain packer, because Gon would have to kill him with a single blow to avoid it. Rock might have the power, but not enough speed to make me think he'd land it dead on with Feitan off guard, which is probably what it would take to kill him instantly. If he 90% kills Feitan he signs his own death warrant instead. On the other hand, he recently became ruthless enough to actually kill enemies. He's been very serious and very powerful since Kaito died. He even had Pito seriously afraid. Also, Feitan should know that Gon is a reinforcement user and saw him beat Nobunaga in arm wrestling when he got mad, but I don't think Gon knows any of Feitan's powers.

feitan vs reinforcement= feitan win. As simple as that. It doesn't matter if it is Ubougin or Gon

Re: Pufu vs. Hisoka

Amount of aura does not necessarily mean that that you're effective in using it as well.

I've seen no indication that Pufu would outclass Hisoka in other aspects as speed, nen efficiency/proficiency, technique, analysis.

In a 1 on 1 fight Pufu lacks the killing technique, which would be the deciding factor in this match.

If and only if Pufu can finish Hisoka in terms of raw power, which I doubt anyone could do when fighting Hisoka, even Razor's pure power didn't not prove to be a worthy factor in deciding the dodge ball game which we could consider as 1 on 1 fight. Neither Kastro, or even imagine Ubogin fighting Hisoka.

An interesting match between Morau and Hisoka would be good to see.

This match is indeed interesting but Hisoka's abilities are just too much of a counter for Pufu's abilities, Beezlebeebub<Pansy Gum, Spiritual Message<Deceitful Texture.

Beezlebeebub vs Pansy Gum is given in previous posts.

Spiritual Message ability to predict, which makes Pufu analyze individuals psychology , state of mind, is easily countered by Deceitful texture, once Pufu makes assumption based on Spiritual Message, he therefore would be deceived with what he will see, or will not be able to analyze the situation, the eye would be deceived but the ability would tell Pufu something else, which would in turn make him dazed or troubled in trying to analyze the situation, and Hisoka's magic tricks work, you know what happens next.

Re: Gon vs. Feitan

This fight is a given, though I'd like to give it to Gon.

A one sided match, and Feitan leading, perhaps we should give Gon at least 2 years. That is if Gon is not allowed to go adult mode. If Gon is allowed, then Gon wins.

Re: Pufu vs. Hisoka

Unfortunately, Pufu is effective in using his nen as well. If I remember correctly, it was either Pitou or Pufu whom the Division Commanders turned to to develop or tutor them about refining their nen-abilities. The Royal Guards had no difficulty at all at inventing and refining nen-techniques in a very short amount of time. They are born nen-geniuses which overwhelmed experience and strategy the humans threw at them.

Hisoka never showed any brilliant level of speed anyways [when I say brilliant I say at Least Feitan's speed], especially when he really had to [Dodgeball game]. Pufu was fast because of his flight, and that is evidenced by how fast he flew from point A to point B when he really had to [remember how fast his clones flew around when they needed to find Komugi and when they needed to hide something that might make Meryem remember]. Most of the time he just leisurely flew around.

Pufu doesn't need a Rising Sun or even a Jan Ken Chi to deal with humans outside Uber Gon. Pufu's killing technique can be as simple as a Kou blow to Hisoka's face, which the latter can't even defend against seeing as how he got badly damaged defending against one of Razors shots [if Razor spammed shots I don't think Hisoka will live; sadly, spamming lethal shots at one's opponent is not part of the game]. And Razor is far weaker than Pufu anyway.

Someone here has a grave misunderstanding of how Deceitful Texture and Spiritual Message works. Spiritual Message attempts to read the mind of an opponent by reading the flow and quality of aura, the sensations it emanates. Pufu spreads some scales around to feel the opponent's aura and therefore the interpretation relies on the movement of the scales being tossed around by the motions of the opponent's aura and not its appearance, and because of that, hiding attempts using Zetsu and In can even be bypassed. Deceitful Texture is totally concerned with visuals, as by even touching it it is revealed as a fake. It doesn't even help Hisoka against Spiritual Message by falsifying a certain flow or quality of aura, because Deceitful Texture can only be projected on thin surfaces, meaning unless Hisoka is entirely wrapped in cloth or paper there's no deception happening, and that deception is simply focused on the visual realm, which Spiritual Message ignores. Deceitful Texture is truly handy in other situations but against Spiritual Message it does nothing. If Hisoka wants to fool Pufu's Spiritual Message he'd better do it by putting up a false or calm flow and quality of aura, which so far, only Netero has shown to have.

And sheer amount of aura can even be used to force Hisoka into defeat by other ways: stalling. Pufu could just fly here and there, skilfully deploying clones, taking potshots at an opponent who can't even fly, and how do you expect Hisoka to win now?

And what does Hisoka have to even have a shot at defeating Pufu? That's right, attacking the true body in Beelzebub form. As I've said before, Morau couldn't find the true Pufu; Potclean and Wink Blue were the only ways that were able to successfully track the original body, how the hell could Hisoka find the main body without those techniques? oh right maybe by random haxx0r attempts with Bungee Gum, which no doubt Pufu can break free from if he's whole. It's not like Bungee Gum is like Potclean or Zitoh's Hourglass which are indestructible due to certain restrictions, therefore it can be overcome by sheer force, which Pufu no doubt has. And in a death match where Meryem isn't concerned, why would one assume Pufu would use a technique that would give the enemy a chance to kill him when he could simply go straight forward and defeat someone who can't even give him a scratch when he's whole? And there's no reason for Pufu to expose his fragile main body anyway; he could just split himself into two and that would leave enough aura to his original self if he really needed to split himself. This fight is just a lesser version of Meryem vs, Netero, where all the finesse and wisdom of the latter didn't even matter. What's worse, Meryem had the intellect to make the fight shorter. Pufu is the intellectual amongst the three Royal Guards; His Spiritual Message, which requires a high intellect to be reliable, is one of the many proofs of his intelligence, so I'm afraid Hisoka can't BS his way out of this one. Someone give Hisoka's paltry cards and magic tricks enough power to even scratch a Royal Guard who only suffered a contusion from Meryem's tail-whip to the face, which is obviously one of the deadliest places to land an attack.

Re: Pufu vs. Hisoka

The battle is decided! Hisoka wins by a landslide in a 20-7 decision. Pufu didn't stand a chance. This marks the first decision of Round 2. Stay tuned for that which is to come!

Re: Killua vs. Morau

not going to lie. i am a fan of morau obviously but i have to give this fight to killua. why? because kanmaru gives killua the greatest edge needed to beat morau. sheer speed combined with knowledge of morau's weakness, no pipe = no smoke = no manipulation. killua knows morau needs his pipe because hes im sure they have all discussed eachother's nen powers during the time before the raid. they've also seen eachother in action i believe. morau, however, doesn't know about killua's kanmaru. So its not unthinkable to believe that killua could steal morau's pipe and toss it away to someplace long gone before morau has a chance to react. then its just a matter of wearing him down. ill hold my vote in the chance that someone can provide a better argument for morau but despite all my thinking kanmaru has me stumped : /

I don't even think Pain packer is needed. Feitan without his ability is more deadly than Killua without his ability. No contest.

Re: Killua vs. Morau

Yeah knowing how killua is pretty efficient and in combination with Godspeed then it seems like a one-sided fight but Morau has crazy experience and even if Killua is a speed demon Morau is a medium to long range fighter. Also taking into account he was at 30% during the invasion and seeing how he has faired against other Fast opponents he's not going to be easy to beat. I actually am going to go with Morau on this if for nothing than the idea that he can keep Killua distracted with his smoke clones until Killua is worn out (out of juice) and then after that is a relatively easy victory. Killua stealing his pipe off the bat would be great but that would involve him being distracted or already severely weakened which obviously isn't the case.

Re: Killua vs. Morau

I think Morau's fights are always going to be long and drawn out because of all of his tricks and distractions, and once Killua runs out of electricity he'd be at a big disadvantage. I view this fight as the tortoise and the hare, with Killua as the hare burning himself out without killing Morau, and then losing the fight. Before removing the needle that makes him want to retreat from opponents that are too strong and getting Kanmuru, he was badly outmatched by Morau's apprentice, let alone Morau himself. I don't think he's THAT much stronger than he was then to actually beat Morau once his electricity runs out.

Moaru would win just because he is more experienced.

Re: Killua vs. Morau

I have to go with murao having a relatively easy victory. Without kammuru killua would be utterly unable of fight back, that is the first important thing to note. Kammuru does not last long enough to defeat murao IMO. Murao is also more than capable of creating clones. Considering a beat up murao could create at least 70 clones, I would think a healthy one could create enough of them to waste killua's kammuru. I think murao win easily.

Yupi vs. Illumi

Yupi vs. Illumi

[sizept=0]this keeps the others ones nicely aligned[/sizept]
Yupi

The third and final of the Chimera Ant King's royal guard to be born. His aura was estimated by Knuckles to be ten times greater than Morau's aura. He has the ability to shape-shift into anything he wants and can build up energy and release it all at once in an explosion.
[sizept=0]this keeps the others ones nicely aligned[/sizept]
Illumi

An experienced assassin who also happens to be the older brother of Killua. He is a manipulation-type nen user and has the ability to use pins and needles to force other people to do what he wants.
[sizept=0]this keeps the others ones nicely aligned[/sizept]

Cast your vote and discuss (logically) why you voted for who you voted for. Have fun, but keep it clean!

Re: Killua vs. Morau

This is a very tough match-up but I'd give it to Killua.

Killua has:
- yo-yo's to strike the puppets
- Narukami for the stun; probably the most important technique in this fight
- Shippuu Jinrai which damaged Yupi a bit; it would translate to respectable amounts of damage even on a healthy Morau
- A decapitation technique and a heart-extraction technique; used on Ramotto and Jones respectively, Coupled with nen and Denko Sekka it will be a very powerful technique
- Denko Sekka
- a very limited amount of time to use electricity-based powers

Morau has:
- Deep Purple puppets; not necessarily fast but they will pose as semi-annoying obstacles which Killua could easily destroy or simply evade after all
- Smoke Jail: Indestructible but requires Morau to be with his opponent
- Smoke rope used against Zitoh: Indestructible but also requires Morau to be in striking range 0f opponent
- Experience and wisdom
- large amounts of aura
- a definite weakness in the event where he loses his pipe [inability to make Deep Purple and probably all of his other Smoke-based attacks]

Narukami is the critical technique here. It will end the fight early because of the considerable stun length it inflicts. Narukami will give Killua plenty of time to take away the pipe and probably finish off Morau with a decapitation or a heart-extraction attack laced with electricity or probably combined with Shippuu Jinrai.

Morau is more of a defensive fighter with no real lethal techniques against nen-users of considerable power like Killua. His main way of winning this one is stalling and waiting for Killua to run out of juice and that's when the beatdown begins. Unfortunately, Killua has the smarts and the techniques to finish this one early that's why I give it to him.

Re: Killua vs. Morau

If we consider that gon should have roughly the same level as killia and how gon did against knuckle (still apprentice of murao) then I don't see how killua has a chance. Killua's gross inexperience in every plausible aspect of fighting and nen when compared to murao should by all intents and purposes make killua's moves completely transparent. Murao should be able to see killua's movements 100 miles away in that regard. Not the main factor, yet important is that murao has a nen of 70000 while killua is probably even inferior to gon in that department and uses up his nen way faster. In all fairness, killua's feats against pufu were most likely the result of pufu having given away 70% of his being to the king. A grossly underpowered version of the one murao fought.

Basically, without kammuru its completely unlikely killia has so much of a chance in hell of keeping up. I think kammuru would even have an inherent weakness against murao. Kammuru is not a versatile technique and it is too straightforward along with depleting killua's nen. On the other hand deep purple is the very definition of versatile and murao can spam it to his hearts consent and more. kammuru works by killua programming himself to react in certain ways. In that sense, if something beyond the scope of his programming before using the technique happens, he has a big problem since kammuru acts beyond the very speed of his own thought. Above that, murao has plenty of ways to avoid combat with killua while in kammuru. He could tie up killua, a horde of clones, he could trap killua within a smoke dome. All murao has to do to win is to force killua into using all of his nen. Once that happens even a severely beat up murao would handle killua easily. A punch with a negligible amount of nen can cause severe amounts of damage on a body unprotected by nen. Now that I think about it, killua could not even defeat murao's other apprentice. Killua did not have kammuru at that time (which wouldn't have necessarily made him win anyways) but I doubt just that technique would be enough to make up for the no less than overwhelming difference there should be between killua and murao.
