I am from Yokohama, Japan and over the past 2 years have become more and more actively involved within the non-Japanese manga/anime community. I am both a Manga Manga Editor and an Anime fansubber! These are my 2 favorite hobbies!

I'm me... Kinlyu is my standard nickname almost everywhere, I 'm getting near to graduating from univ where I've learned Japanese and all that goes with it. I'm pretty much a j-popculture addict, my interests being manga, anime, j-rock, cosplay... And so it happens that I'm a translator for da-scan.
My favourite series are many, but atm I like Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Otomen, Higashi no Eden, Terra e....

Oh and next to all that, I like reading fat ass fantasy books too XD

well I guess this introduction is just a little bit late (heheh been here two years already)

Well I am Caitlyn, I go by Ketorin or Kaitsurino sometimes mazuna. I am 17 (around 15 when I first joined) I love to read and draw I also love to write. I am always on the computer btw.

Favorite Mangas: D. Gray-Man by far, nothing will ever make DGM not my favorite manga. Next is Pandora Hearts, I love this one and if you haven't read it or haven't given it a chance, read it and you'll love it. Nurarihyon no Mago is also a good one I love the story line (though this recent flashback has been too long for my tastes)

Favorite Animes; uhhhhh not sure I like the anime of DGM(though I wish they would continue it, they stopped right at a major point) also the Pandora Hearts anime is really good cause they don't slaughter it and they are actually making it go with the manga storyline. Oh yeah Darker than Black has to be my favorite anime, I love it cause it's so different than most anime story lines. and Trigun is just hilarious.

I like most any manga/anime that is supernatural or fantasy, not so much into ones that are about real life, they have to have some sort of supernatural or fantasy element

Hello there. I'm a translator, japanese to english, and I mainly work in translating Violinist of Hameln ~Shchelkunchik~. Lately I've been using Finistela's raws to translate from (thanks for providing them, Finistela). I also dabble in Edited Manga, though it obviously requires a lot more of my time; I'm currently on vacation, though, and I hope to catch up soon (I'm still in chapter 14).

I registered in this forum so I could request some advanced translation help. There are some constructions and idiomatics in Hameln that boggle my mind, and which I can't find in any dictionary available to me (this includes online ones)... so, well, I guess I'm going to hang out mostly in translation help.

I never really browsed these forums before, though, so I'm currently learning to navigate. I'm also considering registering my solo Edited Manga group here. Be nice to me, everyone

My name is Akshay Bakshi and I am from India. I have just started reading manga and watching anime. My first anime was DBZ , then I saw the funimation version's of Cardcaptors which was aired on CN. After that came Naruto and I have been hooked since then .

The story was aired only uptil Zabuza arc in our country so I decided to go online and found the Narutoverse. I am looking for interesting manga and one piece seems a good one. I am open to suggestions....

I'm a.... first generation American? Well, either way, I know some Japanese, enough to read almost all the RAWs and get the meanings. Prolly enough to translate shounen-manga level Japanese easily, actually, if I ever unlazy-fied....
