Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

That's why he wrote Cujoh, but the messing was with the fact that Jotarou's father was named "Kujo" in the tree :P
Well, although I see what you're saying, that's the rate we've decided on ^^" I can slow down, but if I have an agreement on something, I prefer to stick to it ^^"

If the speed is fine with you, (and if you dont mind me saying something to what you did a while back) there is no problem.
It's cool to be fast, so keep it up plz ^ ^
But just dont go too further from us lol
(cuz that'll overwhelm me, j/k )
kudos!

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Nice to see this manga has gotten more attention lately. I almost picked up Jojo, but was daunted when I heard of just how many volumes were out there. Still, I know a lot of people like it.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Must be very good to make that list, for sure...!

Maybe I'll read one part eventually ( I'm running out of series to read, heh. )

Which one would you guys recommend I start with first?

Hai haaai :p
Sweet!

IF you are into Hokuto no ken (saga of north fist), or huge manly man's fighting manga(like Neo(gil) chan), Dracula(vampires),
start with part 1 and 2
Maybe this is the best to get into this manga cuz part1's ps2 game is poised for release late this month, and its movie will be slatted for a release soon!
awww *CUTE*!

If you are into comedy and funny yet cliffhanging one shots
go read part 4 :p Also its setting is Japan :p

If you like lol italian gangs and rather skinny but really chic and kick-ass badasses, and series of hard hard boiled battles
go for part 5

Ohh and part 3 must be most famous! REALLY AWESOME journey
I cannot stop loving it.

Having said that "you can start with any part", on second thoghts, it might be better to read part6 after part1,2,and 3. For better understanding.

Oh and part7 (steel Ball run) too, might be better to read after checking out part1,2,3. and yeah 6:p

and yeah massive spoilers but there sure is a wiki for everything.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Was it プッチ神父 by chance?

神父 (Shinpu) = Priest/Father/Padre

Enrico Pucci (the priest) is likely the one being addressed in this chapter (he's also quite the badass...). プッチ神父のスタンドはホワイト・スネイクだ。

There is no other 神父 other than Pucchi in this whole series. For future reference
Jolyne and her co will address him either Pucchi or Shinpu later on.
just so you know
Calling a reverend "Shinpu!" with no sama or san, is *quite* brusque/rude in Japanese language.

People usually start on 3, but I say work your way up from the beginning.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

So part three is when Jojo learned that his Star Platina can freeze time right?

And Part IV is about his nephew/uncle(?) thing that can control sound(?)... I need to read starting from here. Any place that I can look out for these?

Part 4 is about Jotaro's uncle! yea!
Joseff's wife is Susie Q, and their child is Holy, who gets married to Japanese musician, and their child is Jotaro(part3's protagonist)
While Joseff visited his daughter Holy in Japan, and during his stay, he had an affair with Japanese Younggg woman, who gave birth to Josuke. (Joseff was in 69's and the woman was in her early 20s I recall. )(Joseff goes back to USA without noticing she's got a baby, and he wont get to know it until Josuke turns 16) well and Josuke doesnt control sound.

Check out Veggie's jojo page

No offense to them, but I am afraid cannot say their Edited Manga is really high quality, tho... both in translation and cleaning raws. especially part4.

Well, there was this trick with part 3...

If you put those scans through a Black & White filter in Picasa2 they get a WHOLE lot more readable. Normally, they look like a baby pissed on em'.

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

I've seen a plethora of jojo reference in other mangas, paying homage to Araki, milking its unique beauty in a creepy way for all its worth with parodies, etc etc... already,
and so yeah I found em again
(*jojo spoiler alert* maybe)

I read through "G senjyou Heaven's door" (G(G pen)'s battle field, Heaven's door"

Holy crap the title was obviously a reference to Rohan(he is a mangaka)'s heaven's door! Didnt notice that at first.
Drawing the other protagonist in the air oh lol

There sure is a Jojo refernce everywhere whoa

Oh and G senjo is really really × 1000 GOOD stuff。

Speaking of which
From hellsing's omake page... lol what a crappy pun

LOTS in Saga(taizo saga) of course lolz
