Naoya fonds of Toji.
Maki pissed off when Naoya told her that she’s similar to Toji
Many things happened.
To make it short, Naoya fainted after Maki punched him once

- Naoya admiring/fanboying Toji Zen'in

Last Fight Scene:
- Maki's fighting style looks like that of a Sumo Wrestler
- Maki is of a Power type whereas Naoya is Speed type
- When she's about to attack, she says, "I'll Hug You" , which also means "I'll Stop/Seize You"

Called it last chapter - she won’t kill Naoya

- Initially, Naoya dominated the fight
- This happen because Maki didn't knew his Cursed Technique & couldn't cope up his speed
- Also she was exhausted due to too many fights.
- But since Maki has now achieved Perfect Heavenly Restriction like Toji, she usually got used to Naoya's high speed

Called it last chapter - she won’t kill Naoya

- After all that, Naoya KO'ed by Maki with one punch to the face.
- This is the end of the Zenin Family story.

However, from what we understand, she does not do it out of a spirit of charity or because she sees it as worthy of redemption.

She probably wants to shut it down because she is exhausted.

Was gonna say, he's probably one of the people who deserve to die most, wouldn't have made much sense if she spared him for redemption.

He was a victim of the system. Nature vs nurture.
Even Mai was an idiot to begin with but she was just raised that way I think.
Besides Naoya & Naobito had a pretty cool and unique Cursed Technique even by manga standards it’s a rather unique ability. Would be a shame to see it removed from the manga.

Surely that's the same for all the fodder clan members she just killed. I agree though, Naoya's curse is cool.

Naoya is just a bully, and is kinda fun seeing being humillated everytime, kinda curious what Gege has in store for him from now on

The second for sure, more reservations about the first, but taking into account that the author pushes him a lot and that already at the time of Shibuya he was considered superior to Naobito....

He could definitely defeat her if he summons Mahoraga again. Without it, I don't see him defeating Maki as they are right now.

However Naoya is not a fodder, in the end he was beaten by Choso and Maki, not two weak guys.

If he managed to survive against Maki just enough, it was only because she was tired

Haha, Maki did a Luffy. Naoya has a great design and as has been said before a unique and cool ability. I would like to see more of him.

Yup, and he probably wouldn't lose to Choso again. Seeing how he never could anticipate him being able to summon that amount of blood.

I wonder if she'll actually emotionally open up about what went down this arc because unlike Toji who had basically no body Maki still has friends like Yuta and Panda and family in Megumi. She just needs to know that she's not alone.
