Oh, the Ultimo picture looks like it's unrelated. I can't figure out exactly what it's for but here's what the text on it says:

9th Karakuri Douji Ultimo
Takei Hiroyuki-sensei appears!
Deadline 15th February

EDIT: Oh, I found the answer on the SQ website itself... It's a quiz about the private lives of the mangaka (in this case it's Ultimo's Takei-sensei). Answer the quiz questions correctly and win prizes. I think "9th" means Ultimo is the 9th series this is happening for, but I may be wrong.

Wow, I wasn't expecting D.Gray-man to have an average sale of 1 million per tank.
Months ago, i was checking old rankings and i saw the top sales for DGM around 650-700k before dropping to 400-500 in the last 2 years (more or less).
Were the sales so great around volume 10?

Wow, I wasn't expecting D.Gray-man to have an average sale of 1 million per tank.
Months ago, i was checking old rankings and i saw the top sales for DGM around 650-700k before dropping to 400-500 in the last 2 years (more or less).
Were the sales so great around volume 10?

When the chapter 202 came out, i thought the same thing - 20,000,000 copies to 21 volumes. It's a lot! Dgm is so much popular! It is the second manga on the list because, *i think*, tennis no oujisama is older than dgm... But dgm is pretty good!

I've been checking out Jump SQ's twitter feed, and apparently they are holding some kind of meeting for those who can make it to decide how things will progress from now on?

Um, how I understand it, that tweet is just about job interviews, i.e. "please contact the personnel department if you can't make it to the appointed date, you got the option to reschedule." and stuff like that.

I personally loved it.It did not have any words,but it made me laugh and i kind of feel as if the people needed this and not only all those "Gambate!"'s.

I mean that's just typical Misawa... He'll always be Misawa even when he's absolutely serious and put in his 100% efforts into something.

If he can give the suggestion/critique of "the eyes are too far apart" to every single contestant of the SQ rookie competition, of course he would do this

I'm not sure if it's better or worse for the new series... But that viewer installer is just annoying (it only works on my Japanese version of Win 7... The Traditional Chinese version kept terminating the setup halfway).

Does it mean that Jump SQ will be available online for free just like Shounen Jump was?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but this #5-6 issue isn't two times bigger than normal (even the price suggests that), it just means that instead of getting 12 (13?) issues we will get one less and overall less pages than normal and less chapters of our favourite manga (Claymore in my case).
