Oh yeah, I saw that They are absolutely awesome! Their vocals go really well together!

Also, After School will be making a comeback on the 7th with "Happy Pledis, Love Love Love". Bekah will not be participating in the promotions, but there's a rumour going around saying that 'Happy Pledis' is in fact the name of a sub-unit much like 'Orange Caramel', since it says "the first single" on the album cover.

EDIT: It seems that Bekah's absence is due to her going on a 2 month break back to Hawaii. After moving to Korea to train to be a singer, she hasn't had the chance to go back to Hawaii much.

Yeah, they haven't been promoting as a group since Bang But their sub-group, Orange Caramel, has promoted 2 songs in the time between Bang and now.

On a random note, the manga 'Defense Devil' written by Youn In-Wan and illustrated by Yang Kyung-il, has a few K-Pop references in it Well I guess, obviously because they're Korean, but yeah, I found it awesome

I came across a really awesome blog site called "super-kpop". I'm sure some of you may have already heard about it for quite some time now. I found those 2010 Hits Mash-up clips on that blog and I was about to post it but Icey beat me to it just like A_I beat you to it.

@ Bot - That blog has so many awesome gifs and pictures that could be incredibly useful in the Fun Forum. I thought you would like to know.

I think the first part of the 2010 Mash Up is the best. The vocal snippets that are used throughout the mix goes really well with the "Break your heart" instrumental. I loved it.

About super-kpop, I've only seen that site once. So thanks for bringing it up again~

I actually have the same opinion as you regarding the mash-ups.. I really like the bit where it's like "Everyday I love you, everyday I run... everyday I bounce bounce"... you get the idea.

I have heard the ADIOS 2008 mashup, Part 1 and 2 of 2009, ADIOS 2009 and Part 1 and 2 of 2010, and I gotta say I like part 1 of 2010 the most

And on another note, my favourite rookie group, Infinite, has comeback with the song "Before The Dawn" .

Yeah, I get you. I also liked the intro; in particular the part between 0:15 to 0:45. That part made the overall mix amazing and incredibly addictive to listen to again and again.

Yikes. What a comeback video as well. XD You gotta love the dancing choreography in most j-pop and k-pop music videos. It's not really my kind of style of music but I'm sure the girls will love it.

Haha yeah, definitely. Regarding Masamixes, he has made Adios mixes for both 2008 and 2009, with songs from the whole year in one video rather than split into 2... I wonder if he's going to make one for 2010.

For me, I like Korean choreography (and also costume design) better than Jap... Actually, it's the same with MVs as well. If you give me a MV of a group I don't know and muted it, it's quite easy to tell the difference between a k-pop MV and a j-pop MV...

Also about Infinite... hoho, yes... my friends and I are rabid fangirls of them.

DJ Masa's a pretty sick mixer that's for sure and those single mix tracks for 08, 09 and hopefully '10 will definitely be a big hit on the net and in the clubs. I much prefer them being separate though. It's bit overwhelming hearing such a large mix on one single track. It would give me a really bad headache listening to it once from start to finish. xD

I like both J-Pop and K-Pop MV's. They're full of colour and the dancing is definitely entertaining it's just that, at times, the bands/groups or Artists take it a bit too seriously and "try a bit too hard" infront of the screen. =P

Really? You can distinguish the two apart when they're muted as well? Sugoi. The only difference I've picked up upon is the amount of "leg show" in K-Pop music videos compared to that in J-Pop ones.

Yeah.. in the mixes, if there's this one part that appeals to you and you have no idea what song it's from, it's so annoying having to go through the list of the songs he used and trying to pinpoint exactly which song it's from.
Although it's overwhelming, it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with.

As for the MVs, I know what you mean. But I find that K-artists "try harder" infront of the screen, since I've noticed that Korean MVs tend to have more solo shots and Japanese MVs tend to have more group shots..

Well yeah. There are a lot of differences including how it's directed, the style of the choreography, costumes, backdrops and like I said before, the number of group shots vs. the solo shots... I've read somewhere that the Korean music industry tend to focus more on looks than talent... so I guess that's why there's so much "leg show."

Seriously though...most of the time I randomly search youtube for some cool k-pop videos and sometimes you'll find some awesome new music and other times... well...you know...

I have to find that clip again. I'll post it up once I find it. =P

I've been a fan of J music for a while now and I have listened to k-pop as well in the past. It's just that I haven't been active much around these parts for a long time. Gawd...sometimes I blame the FF.

@ the viewers - there really is another world outside of the Fun Forum.

Well I like most of the bands....MBLAQ, 2NE1,4Minute,Beast,SNSD,f(x), etc.... I listen to mostly the girl bands honestly....I still haven't listened to most of the recommended bands/songs yet, but so far I can't choose between 2NE1 and 4Minute as my favorites. I'm leaning more towards 4Minute though.... JiYoon
