恋(私が1番に潰れる‥！少しも役に立ててないのに！捨て身で突っ込むしかない。それでも無惨の動きを止められるか分からないけど)
攻撃を避ける恋を無惨の斬撃が追う
その時フオと引っ張られる感覚が恋を襲い、恋の額と左肩、そして左頬の肉を削いだ。急いで恋に駆けつける蛇
岩水風は攻撃しても届かず、無惨は涼しい顔をしている
蛇は恋の手当てをする為、隊士に兪史郎を探し出すよう言う
恋は目を見開き「まって私まだ戦える。今度は足を引っ張らないようにするから」
蛇「もういい。十分やった」
隊士に恋を任し、無惨の元へ走る。恋は止めるも力が抜けて立てない
「伊黒さん嫌だ死なないで」

蛇は走る内に口元の包帯が解け、顔の端まで口元が切り裂かれているのが露わになっているのも気にせず走る
蛇(もし君と何気ない日常で出会う事が出来ていたらどんなによかっただろう)

回想
蛇の一族は人々から金や屋敷を強奪して暮らす、業突く張りで見栄っ張りの一族に生まれた。女ばかり産まれる家系で、男が生まれるのは三百七十年振りで、生まれた時から座敷牢に入っていた
十二になって座敷牢から出て連れ出され、下肢が蛇のような女に会わされた
一族は産んだ赤ん坊をこの女に生贄として差し出していたが、男で風変わりな目をしていた俺は、大きくなり食える量が増えるまで生かされているだけだった

女は口を自分と揃えると言って、口元を大きく切り裂かれた
生きることだけ考え、盗んだ簪で木の格子を削り、その中迷い込んだ鏑丸と出会い唯一信用できる生き物になった
逃げた俺は蛇女に追いつかれたが、当時の炎柱に助けられた
従姉妹の元へ引き合わせてくれたが従姉妹は「あんたが逃げたせいでみんなしんだのよ！大人しく喰われりゃよかったのに！」
嫌という程俺の心を抉った

屑の一族に産まれた俺もまら屑だ
やり場のない思いは全て鬼に向けた。ひたすら鬼を恨み憎んだ


現在に戻る

走る蛇は恋と初めて会ったらしき時を思い出す。
舞い散る花の中、着物を着てこぼれ落ちそうなくらいの満開の笑顔の恋を思い出し
(無惨を倒してしにたい。どうか俺の汚い血が浄化されるよう願う。鬼のいない平和な世界でもう一度人間に生まれ変われたら、今度は君に好きだと伝える)

188: Heartbreaking love

The chapter begins with Muzan attacking everywhere with his tentacles. The pillars are in a desperate situation, none of them can defend themselves.

- "I'm being pushed back! I can't find an opening ..." Gyomei said.

- "I can't even defend Himejima-san! Damn!" Said Obanai.

- "I'm going to be the first to fall! I haven't even been helpful! I have to risk my life! However, I don't know if I can stop Muzan!" Mitsuri said.

Now, Muzan's attacks are directed towards Mitsuri, who manages to dodge the first blows. But at that moment, Mitsuri receives another attack and is seriously injured. Then, Obanai is speeding towards Mitsuri to help her, while Giyu, Gyomei and Sanemi try to attack Muzan, but they can't. Muzan doesn't even pay attention to them.

Obanai tells a demon hunter to go find Yushiro to cure Mitsuri, but at that moment she says: "Wait. I can still fight," while he opens his eyes.

- "Stop! You've done enough," said Obanai, who leaves Mitsuri with the demon hunter, and then goes to fight Muzan.

Mitsuri tries to stop Obanai, but because she is sorry, she can't do it.

- "Iguro-san! No! Don't die, please!" Said Mitsuri.

While Obanai is running, his bandage covering his mouth unravels. Obanai's mouth is open to the edges of his face, but that doesn't matter now.

- "If only we had met in a more peaceful time," Obanai thought.

[Obanai Flashback]

Obanai was born in a family that was stealing gold and other people's land. For a long time, only women were born in his family, but after 370 years, a male was born.

When Obanai was born, his family put him in a cage, and remained there until he was 12 years old. Once his family freed him from the cage, he was introduced to a woman who had half his body like that of a snake.

Initially, when Obanai was born, he must have been sacrificed for that woman. But Obanai had strange eyes, so they let him live until he could become a bigger meal.

That woman tells Obanai that he would make his mouth like hers. In this way, Obanai remained with his mouth open. He knew he was going to die, so with the help of Kaburamaru, he managed to escape. However, that woman pursued him. Then, the Pillar of Fire, who was passing by, managed to save Obanai.

After that, Obanai went to see his cousin, who says: "Because of you, everyone is going to die! You should have let him eat you!"

"I was born in a family of crap. That is why I am also crap," Obanai thought.

At that moment, something was born in Obanai. Yes, what was born was a great hatred of demons.

While Obanai is still running, remember the first time he met Mitsuri. That time, Mitsuri was wearing a kimono and had a smile as beautiful as a flower's.

I have to put my life on the line. I don't even know if I can stop Muzan though!" Mitsuri says. Muzan's slashing attacks pursue Mitsuri as she dodges. At that moment, Mitsuri is attacked by the sensation of being sucked in, and her forehead, left shoulder, and left cheek are slashed. Obanai instantly rushes to her aid. Gyomei, Giyu, and Sanemi are unable to land attacks on Muzan, who seems completely nonchalant. Obanai tells a demon slayer to go find Yushiro so he can help Mitsuri. "Wait. I can still fight. His mouth, split open all the way to the edges of his face, is exposed, but he doesn't care. "If only we could've met under more peaceful circumstances." Obanai thinks. Obanai's was born to a vain, miserly family who lived by stealing gold and lands from others. Only women were born to their family. And then, for the first time in 370 years, a man was born. When a man was born, he was kept in a cage from the moment of his birth until he turned twelve, at which point he was released and introduced to a woman with a lower-body like that of a snake's. He was initially to be sacrificed to her as a baby, but as he was a man, and had strange eyes, he was kept alive until he could grow into a bigger meal.


2/2 She said she would make his mouth like hers, and split it open to match her own. Obanai thought of nothing but survival, and using a hairpin he had stolen, carved away at the wooden slats of his cage. As he was doing so, he came to meet Kaburamaru, the only living thing he trusted. When he escaped, the snake woman came in pursuit, but the Fire Pillar saved him from her. He went to see his cousin, but his cousin said "Because of you, everyone's going to die! You should've just let her eat you!" It ripped at his heart. "I was born to a family of trash. And so, I too am trash." His restless thoughts turned against the demons. He loathed the demons with everything in him. In the present, as he runs, Obanai remembers when he first met Mitsuri. He thinks of Mitsuri, how he'd seen her amidst falling petals. She wore a kimono. Her smile, so deeply in bloom, it seemed it might scatter in the wind. "I want to defeat Muzan, and then die. I pray my impure blood is somehow cleansed. I want to be reborn in a peaceful world without demons. And then next time, I can tell you I love you."

I agree with you I can t bring myself to care for Iguro. Yoriichi,Genya,Shinobu and Rengoku are all sad for me.

I don t know I just don t feel the sadness. its not because of hate I just don t feel the sadness. I can t control how I feel.

From the looks of it before Tanjiro and Kanao,Zenitsu and Inosuke arrive to Fight Muzan. Only Sanemi,Giyu and Himejima are last line pillar that is going to stall him now Kanroji is out and Obanai is having high deathflag the way he talks sound like he is going to die and narration its very high deathflag.

They really need Tanjiro 13 form master to get here as soon as possible. Even Himejima have hard time stalling Muzan. Kanroji suppose to be one of the strongest pillar but Muzan swat her aside like a fly.

It seems we have underestimate demon lord Muzan kibitsuji. He is far stronger than I thought. Even five pillars can t stop him.

Five pillars could've normally stalled Muzan more efficiently. You have to realize that 3 of them were already engaged in a fight against him and received considerable wounds, and another three of the five have undergone exhausting and dangerous battles against the Upper Moons.
Giyuu's condition is absolute shit, and Sanemi was already spilling his guts (literally, lol) against Kokushibou. They're hardly anywhere near their peak.

You are right with exception of Kanroji and Obanai who should be at their peak.

I feel like he might be the first one to get a red blade among the current fighters. Either that, or we finally see his mark appear. But I'm leaning towards the Red Blade. After re-teading a lot of chapter's, and reading 187, the key to a Red Blade might be Love. Yoriichi was a man filled with a great amount of love for the world, Nezuko's love is what is keeping her from eating humans, and she was the one who turned Tanjirou's blade red, and then we have the Kokushibou fight. Muichirou unlocked his red blade with a great amount of worry and determination to help his friends even after it seemed like it was over, and Gyoumei along with Sanemi didn't want to waste the efforts of Genya and Muichirou. Just a random guess, but it might actually be the case.

Sanemi DID get a red blade for a short amount of time, along with Gyoumei at the end of the Kokushibou fight. Both their weapons turned red and finally decapitated him. Obviously they don't have it anymore because they don't know how to do it, so they might get it either through resonance(Which is what I think happened in the Kokushibou fight), or Nezuko helping everyone out. As for Kanao, I don't think that she's skilled enough yet to get one through battle.

I doubt it will be enough also, but at least that can possibly start the chain reaction of everyone else getting red blades. If resonance is what helped Gyoumei and Sanemi to get those red weapons temporarily, that is. Plus, he'll probably be the first to wound him in a meaningful way if that happens.

Damn, poor kanroji didn't even get to do anything. I really wanted a happy ending for her. Even if nezuko can cure muzan's poisoning.... there is no way she can get to everyone.
