the arc main lesson was that laxus was wrong. his fairy tail guild will be a disaster. he underestimated everyone but his side people

he did back ground research on mystogan. no way he is finding existence of an entire world by eavesdropping. you have no proof he didnt sleep (other than laxus words).

Actually now that I think about it he actually considered Mystogan a rival so it'd be: Gildarts>Makarov=Laxus>=Mystogan>Erza
As for Evergreen, why wouldnt he be pissed? Evergreen beat her at the start of the arc with stone eyes, and she failed to do it again. He knows Erza is more powerful than her though, he admits it earlier in the arc that her and Mystogan would be his challengers.

i think laxus knew about two mages properly, because he looked up to them
They are marakrov and gildarts

And then he based powers of mystogan and erza from unknown and irrelevant people words. He knew they must have some power because of their s class status but nothing more other than random people who has never seen mystogan or erza in action

Laxus is pretty meticulous, and he judged Mystogans strength pretty accurately, so I doubt it. That said, Erza is stronger than Laxus thinks she is, but he should have the ballpark just fine.

i would like to point out, laxus couldnt have figured out mystogan identity just by being awake.

he also had freed who could help him. again using sneak attack as basis of power leveling is amusing

lol, no. show me the panel where he isnt asleep. his claims were stupid as hell in that arc. he literally thought evergreen could take erza.

again laxus statement. the coversation laxus is talking about happened between some unknown people, who were talking about who is the second strongest man, mystogan or laxus (of course, those people actually never saw mystogan)(i dont really remember where this conversation took place). in the start, when mystogan and laxus debut, erza, mystogan and laxus were those candidates who came after the geezer, lucy even drew a chart for that. no one knew who was stronger, erza, laxus or mystogan. only people who actually knew who was stronger, were also part of laxus cult, like raijinshuu and many here, in this very forum

the hilarious part is you believe everything the bad guy says, as long as that bad guy is laxus.

Mystogan puts everyone to sleep to protect his face yet Laxus knows who he is. You would have to prove he would put to sleep, especially since he would just put Laxus to sleep in their fight.

It's a statement based on what he heard from OTHER GUILD MEMBERS. Something doesn't have to happen on the panel for it to be true. Lucy drew a chart based on what was told to her at the time (Laxus and Mystogan were the strongest men and Erza was the strongest woman). What you said literally DOESN'T DISPROVE THE PANEL I POSTED.

( which she did in phantom arc) so again and yes natsu and erza had a skirmish battle and they were quite equal meanwhile laxus in that same time of frame was dominating natsu. laxus>erza deal with it
