Seriously, there's no way after the last chapter that you can argue Lucci has a chance against Magellan. Long-range attacks are easily intercepted by hydra or hell's judgement (even if you back attack him with speed), and obviously hand-to-hand doesn't work.

You don't need the last chapter to know that, the guy has had every single man in the escapee group on the run. If anyone in the group stood a chance against magellan, escaping would have been easy. Hell, luffy was able to punch him and had heavy weapon backup and still was unable to even hold him back once the guy used his strongest poison. The guy is arguably luffy's most dangerous oponent as of now IMO. Out of all of luffy's enemies the only ones who could defeat magellan as of now are kizaru and aokiji but only because they are even greater haxes lol.

Well yes.. when i am made this thread.. luffy had just lost of magellan i think.. we didn't had him making ace his bitch and then pawing everyone including BB in a rush...

its pretty much obvious now that who would win

Magellan is very experienced at what he does. Even though Lucci is a trained assassin approved by the world government since age 12, this is just one fight that you can't win. Blackbeard's crew was nearly annihilated by one of Magellan's main attacks. Although today luffy is realistically stronger than Lucci, Magellan is definitely a one hit ko.

Even if the fight was magellan vs the entire cp9(without anyone underestimating anyone) I could not see them standing a chance in hell. Magellan is the single most powerful force in ID, he had luffy, 2 shichibukai and hundreds of prisoners from every level in ID on the run. All in all, against magellan, lucci is nothing but measly, insignificant and petty. And that's putting it nicely.

Seriously Magellan is far stronger and more dangerous than Rob Lucci. He is probably as dangerous as admiral but easier to defeat because he is not logia.
Now I wonder is Shiryu match for someone like Vista or even Mihawk..

I don't think lucci has so much as a shread of a chance. If lucci faces magellan his only hope would be that magellan is stricken by lightning or a meteor because he would last but a few seconds otherwise. Lucci has similar physical capacities as gear 2 luffy and we all know how badly luffy got owned. Luffy did get a few hits on magellan but it was nothing which even barely fazed magellan in the long run or that he could not walk off. All in all, lucci is less than fodder to magellan.

Oh, and i vote Magellan. I agree with the idea that only certain logia ('cept BB, we saw how well that went) can actually stand a chance against him

another 25 chapters and we'll all forget about Lucci, it'll just be comparisons and davey backs for Magellan vs. Whoever.

Magellan got my vote, he seems untouchable, while being able to fight proficiently. It depends though, if the fight were outside I'd maybe lean more toward Lucci, as Magellan's DF ability is ideally suited to closed quarters engagements that he came across in Impel Down.

It does seem pretty clear that Magellan would own Lucci. At ANY range he is outclassed and overall not even a serious threat. I'm no Magellan fanboy.. I'd like to see him go down actually, just Lucci would be at best a level 5 prisoner IMO.

Again we have to consider were they to fight would it be in Impel Down. I doubt in open spaces Magellan is as scary, but he'd still win IMO.

Magellan is stronger, but Lucci has the tactical advantage. Rankyaku can harm Magellan while Soru and Geppou can be used to avoid Magellan's attacks. Also, since Magellan can't fight for more than a few hours, Lucci can win by outlasting his opponent. Most important of all, Lucci has the homefield advantage. Lucci can strip Magellan of his DF power by luring him to an area where Magellan can be submerged in water or by using EL's seastone fistcuffs.

I don't think soru will grant lucci the capacity to avoid magellans attacks. Magellans attack have a deadly combination of at least decent speed and covering no less than massive areas. Outside impel down lucci might have a small chance of running away but even than would be a stretch. In a fight, lucci would have as much luck evading poison as anyone else had so far and that means he will easily be poisoned and hence defeated. Ryankaku would be lucci's best option when fighting but he would still not be capable of avoiding said poison. Seriously, if luffy could not avoid the poison in gear 22, how would lucci do it if he has roughly the same speed (maybe less considering luffy might have been a tad stronger when he visited ID than when he fought lucci). Magellan has luffy (who I do consider is fodder in the grand scheme of things though), jimbei (even though he was out of the water he was still powerful enough to not have trouble holding off luffy from fighting BB) and crocodile who' exceptional mastery over his DF earned him a shichibukai position)

This is probably the worst match-up ever.

Crocodile, Daz Bones, Inazuma, Ivankov, Jinbei, and Luffy. They collectively chose to flee instead of fighting Magellan head-on, despite the heavy loss Magellan inflicts.

That either means they are unable to take on Magellan, or they'll suffer too great a casualty to risk it.

Would Lucci inspire the same fear? I think not. They'll most likely brush him aside. This is not to say that Lucci is weak, but I consider Magellan to be one of the strongest character shown so far. Not to mention the fact that Magellan took down Luffy with relative ease, whereas Lucci lies defeated.

In my opinion, Magellan would probably roflstomp the entire EL, trash the Buster Call, and leave intact.

A poison that works on everything, tangible or otherwise. So far, no one in One Piece has shown himself capable of dealing with that.

Lucci is an animal form of luffy's gear 2nd, it would result the same as luffy vs magellan.

However the fight would end more quicker for lucci since he cant endure pain like luffy can.

Well, you know Luffy power has no limits when he has the resolution, but what would be the reason for Lucci to risk loosing is hands.... he would be death if he only spam rankyaku..
Kaku would be the best match, cause is rankyakus are FAST... but Maggelan is just PURE HAX MACHINE... except for logia, I'm not seeing anyone capable of win against him... (WB out for obvious reasons..)
