Well actually, now that we've seen hax like Kyria's hypnosis work on people stronger than her like Erza and Laxus it makes it plausible that hax like Mira's macro can work on people stronger than her. Not every ability is limited by MP.

Even assuming it works on Lucy, it should stop at 2. Macro was nowhere to be found when Mirajane faced Juliet and Heine, and Jacob, and Skullion, and Gray. There's no reason to assume it would work on any of them, let alone anyone above the 5th round.

She never used Seilah form in that fight. Not doing =/= can't do it.

Kyria's hypnosis is weaker than Macro as it can only hypnotize one aspect aka strength, feelings, etc. The strength cut can also only be used on people who Kyria sees stronger than herself. Macro on the other hand is just straight up mind control. It can make you do whatever the user wants you to do by controlling your mind. She was even able to control a dead person's mind. It's only limited by the amount of people she can control at one time (which was like 30+ people). Macro has also worked on Erza. So again, nothing to say it's better. Mind control > hypnosis.

Yes, I see no reason it wouldn't. Macro has already worked on Erza before and as shown in Alvarez, Erza was still susceptible to 9D hax. There is nothing to say Laxus or any other character are able to overpower it when they have zero showings to suggest they can negate mind hax. High tiers, top tiers and even god tiers FT characters have been shown susceptible to mind control by weaker opponents so why should I believe they can overcome it with power? You need mind resistance or mind hax to compete with mind hax. Simply being stronger than the user is not a counter for mental manipulation.

If someone as weak as Kyria can have hypnosis work on stronger people then I don't see why Mirajane, who is stronger than Kyria, that her hax would fail to work as well or better.

The fact that Mashima makes sure that she doesn't use Seilah/Macro is actually probably proof that it's still hax. She never tried to use it and fail, Mashima just never brought it up
