They had found Pandora's Actor body, lifeless in the snow. No signs of violence were found.

Nice Trivia!:

• James saved the Grynch on N1
• Seraph was on point in almost all his deduction during DayPhases
• DD investigated both TPs in two nights, shame he was caught first.
• Gry betrays Van once more (even if he didn't know it...heh)

Also we were quite surprised with how underrated Agility was. It certainly had potential to change a lot of developments if more points were spent on it. Defense was good, but against strength users it was pretty much useless.

Taku has been on @lindananahayashida 's list for sometime,he seems suspicious to her. For what exactly i don't know but checking up on him may give an interesting Target.

Checking on Gry would be mostly because i want to see on wether or not i can find something that would add to my Gry=Mafia Theory.

I did give that a couple of times today though? I explained why i have an eye on Asako to Gryff earlier,why i voted her etc.
I explained my Targets,why i chose them,my results on them. I honestly think i've shared the most out of town today,and i put myself at risk.

If i die i'd recommend for Town to keep an Eye on the 3 Names i mentioned earlier and to make the most out of Asako's(If its true) Detective Role. She should spend her points on defense and we should try to have a bodyguard/doc back her up. Otherwise Town never gets anywhere for me.

Imho, I don't think asako is the case. Since the first day, I feel like we are being led by someone/something against her? I mean, so long we keep suspecting her, it just helps the mafia as they wouldn't be the main focus.

She claimed that mistake part to not be a part of the game. I think even if someone was indeed lying that's just a cheap trick. Since it's a game after all.

Alto that's just my opinion. I think its more likely that taku, who said that their role isnt of any help to the townie is more suspicious. Most of the cases seem like happening due to inactivity tbh or due to being too bold (DD ?)

Honestly, I have no idea how I feel about gry. I almost thought both gry & vand can be trusted to the same degree. But with seraphs post & vand being a detective of all thing just makes it all the more complex. (Sorry about this gry, if you are indeed a townie)

Well, it is your first game so here's some lesson:
Apprentice is a great role to claim as Mafia. It covers your kill or other Mafia actions at night, you can change your role later on and claim you have learned something from a townie and using it as argument to claim they are townie. Also it is a great role to claim early on because Mafia don't wanna use their kill on just an apprentice, that is a waste to them.

Now here is the thing:
We had 3 kills so far, 2 ??? and only 1 known kill: Vandred, a Detective who Asako claims she has only followed and "just in time before he died" learned his role from him. Now this claim got a couple problems, newbie because:
Killing and following are both low ranked actions, so it is unlikely that she could have learned a 2nd time from Vandred in time. We already had such a situation where an apprentice tried to learn a 2nd time from somebody but failed because his mentor was killed on the 2nd try. Next however is the target she chose to learn from. How big of a coincidence must it be that Asako happened to learn from the soley kill we all know what the role is? What if she had learned from digitaldude? We wouldn't know what her role is and only had her word for it. How come she hasn't learned from one of the other 16 people who are still alive and could support her claim? 1 in 20 is basically a 5% chance. So us believing her means we rather believe a 5% claim than that the claim she had chosen anybody else but Vandred.
So the claim stinks.

Next, Det claim. NOBODY wants to kill dets or docs for that matter but that is why Mafia and 3rd roles love to claim that role. You claim it, you get a pass. There had been times where I had to reveal being det on day 1 because people tried to kill me which made them believe me for some time because day 1 claims are insane for a mafia. Ofc mafia kept blocking me so I had a real hard time trying to stay alive long enough while people were asking me how I could not deliever any results.
So Asako taking Vandred's role on just feels like trying to manipulate us into letting her live longer. And that with her being the one who had used an action on Vandred the night he died. And for that we have a spy's word. So an action was used on Vandred, we know Vandred die, we do not know what Asako's action was but a kill action was definitely used on Vandred. We do not know if Asako was truly an apprentice or is now a det we only got her word, nothing else.

Next, Det reveal: If Asako was truly an apprentice who just got Det on night 2, she would have never said so! Revealing as Det without any action done is a deathsentence by Mafia. Or block eternally which is worse. If anything she would have lied that her action was wasted on the first night kill from Janitor and how unlucky she was that her 2nd target died as well and that she is still apprentice. Also an unlikely to believe claim but something we could investigate on and from which we knew mafia would not block or kill because who waste such valuable actions on a mere apprentice? With the apprentice cover Asako could have had used her det actions in the coming nights easily without much worries of being killed. All she had to worry about was the lynch.

Honestly...as much as me and Koko have bumped heads this game....this lynch just stinks to me.

I never said "so useless" and I never compared them to the spy claim or det claim. I said it is not "very interesting" and that "it will not matter that much in the grand things happening around me". That is a huge difference. I'd say my role is less interesting than a det and might matter a bit less than a spy, but it is still far more than anything you ever said about your role.

Also why are you playing so very differently from your usual play-style? You never defend somebody that vehemently so early in the game, you are usually the one attacking such defenses. And compared to the previous days you are much more active as well.

Asako is the Mentor who recruited you in night phase 1 which is why we had only a Janitor kill that night. However this night Asako used her ability to kill and that happened to be Vandred who luckily happened to be a Detective BUT unluckily Asako was seen killing Vandred by Seraph so now she HAS to claim a role that defends her WHY she targeted Vandred on a night he died. If she claimed det right away she would have to deliever another result for night 1 which might bite her in the ass later. If she claims doc people will either see her as insane or naive thus bad doc, go die, not a good choice. And spy was already taken by Seraph. So all left to claim was an Apprentice and since Apprentice claim seemed too weak for Asako she tried to use that role's learning ability to "prove" she is really townie so she claimed she just became det this night phase by learning from Vandred 2 times in a row!

Well, that makes much more sense, than an apprentice learning from somebody in the night her mentor was killed.

I am for Asako to be lynched. She voted for the innocent child to die, she claims a role you always claim to not be killed for (det) and she claims it in a way that makes her using an action on Vandred the night he died believeable (Apprentice) plus we have Seraph's reveal as spy telling us Asako did target Vandred this night phase.
That all alone is enough to see what Asako's role truly is because even if she is det, she is a dead det as she won't investigate anything due blocks or just gets killed outright or waste doc protections on her. So nothing is lost if she is not the Mentor.

Here is the PROOF Asako is lying and that she cannot have become det this night phase:

Sane Apprentice (Townie): Targets a person at Night phase to learn from him. If the player manages to learn from the same target 2 times, he changes his role to his teacher's and is notified of the change and which role it is. If however his teacher gets blocked or killed he learns nothing that night. Once his role changed he cannot learn a new role.
If his target happened to be a Mafia or a 3rd party, he dies after learning from him 2 times. If his target is a normal Mason(not a Recruiter) he joins that Mason's group. The Apprentice doesn't know about his sanity. (GAME 54)

So if Asako's claim being an apprentice is true then she would STILL be an apprentice and not a Det. And if you believe her str or agi claim then that is a 18% chance of being true, you really wanna believe that?

No, Townies won't lose. Once we kill the Janitor and find out the roles of the dead ones it will be an easier time to flush the mafia out and in a game of 20 there are rougly 3 Dets in, probably 2 or all 3 insane, so as long as none of the other two was det we still have two dets who are keeping their head down because so far they got guilty-guilty or innocent-innocent results and are not sure how to react to your "I just became det due following Vandred" claim. It is pretty obvious that you were the one who killed Vandred last night. Only question is whenever you are a Mafia or a 3rd Party.
Also ofc you are perfectly fine with getting blocked or killed because if you are Mentor you could just let your Mentee do the killings. Also the reason why the spy survives is not because you are getting blocked or killed but because Mafia won't waste a kill action on a spy. There is a huge reason why in every game so far spies were left alive by Mafia despite their early reveals: 1) they fear spy gets doc protection as they are known to everyone now 2) spy is pretty much confirmed townie due his ability to watch actions so other townies can confirm spy is legit thus no way of discriminating the spy expect trying to go for that he is insane claim 3)rather want to get rid of docs, dets and BKs redirecting their kills than somebody they possibly could use as argument to "prove that they are townie" like you are trying to do. Like what Mafia Det would not love to claim real Det and have Spy say "yeah, he is right he did target that guy that night and said guy is still alive and agrees that he is innocent thus a townie"? Trying to use a spy's finding as argument for your case as townie is basic Mafia skill.

Good choice, Seraph. Glad to see you as Spy on our side and as such a lucky spy as well. Finding out that Asako targeted Vandred the night he died was huge. If that had been later in the game we would eb talking about 50% chances of learning happening before the kill, now we can conclude that to be stupid.

Also Asako's claim to have put all new 3 points into def is a lie. A det would put it all into Str to make sure his action would not get nullified by a Mafia or townie def. Since nearly ALL townies will go def to defend themselves against kill actions a Det needs STR to break through said def wall. If a str kill ignores a successful def roll so does str investigation.
