Dont you guys think its kinda boring that every single year we have the same nominations: the "shonen hype" ones (FT, BnH, SnK etc.) and the classics (Berserk, HxH etc), and they always go to the finals and win? It is really difficult (but not impossible) for a non mainstream manga to win. I know this is obvious - the most famous will certainly have a higher probability of winning because more people tend to vote. But my point is: we always know can win. There is no surprise.

My fav thing about these wars are the salty people, to follow the campaigns (some ppl really work hard to convince you) and the possibility to discover a new great manga.

The understandable problem with niche manga is you can't get votes because nobody has read it. I would love to nominate Superior for this event one day but I would put the over under of people who have read that aside from me at "one person" and I would take the under.

But winning isn't the point if it isn't with a nomination you truly want to promote. A could have nominated Boku no Hero Academia since its a mainstream shonen that I actually like, but I would rather talk and explain things I love about series yet to discover than simply stomping through the voting phases cause its a known manga.

Truth be said, I nominated it in the previous edition but couldn't campaign for it in the end (got a new job and it was very demanding). And it didn't pass the first round. Its match was against Kenshin!

In fact, I remember a certain someone @niichan who said I had chosen a title nobody had heard about.

I hope so. It seemed to me that it got a very good reception. It even has a second season coming out this fall!
And with all the recent plot twists, the manga is getting better and better.

@Shobu_Yoruichi Thank you. I was seriously starting to get stressed out about no one nominating OP. If it still hadn't been nominated before the event started I'd have had to do it myself. And I don't wanna rip out my hair again like last year..
