I doubt Natsu was using much POF since his situation wasn't THAT desperate, I mean he wasn't drained or on the verge of death. But yeah, POF or not, I don't deny tanking something like that is impressive and could scale Mard's durability to a Spriggan's if not a bit more. But what about offense? Many Spriggans have FAR more offensive power than a Tartaros Natsu's DF Secret Art, so I doubt Mard could tank their attacks so easily. As for Mard, he either has Thorns which can easily be dodged, or Memento Mori which takes a while to be cast. That's why I doubt Mard could beat most Spriggans, but in this case, Ajeel IS arrogant enough to get close and take his time, so it doesn't matter who has more raw power, he WILL get wide open for MM.
Devil Slayers ALL have resistances to demonic curses, it makes sense since they're supposed to fight demons. And any Spriggan is LEAGUES above Tartaros Gray since even Alvalez Gray (who was stronger than in Tartaros) needed specific near-immunity to Invel's element to beat him, so if he had fought any other Spriggan, he would've been hardstomped (except of course for demonic ones like Bloodman or Larcade thanks to his Slayer advantage, nothing to do with raw power).
If Gray's half-demon form really made a difference, Bloodman is a FULL demon so he should be even more resistant. And Mard may know Silver, but Silver knows him too, the only true difference is that Silver has more raw power than Gray (even in ALVALEZ Gray had no-feat such as freezing a whole village!) and experience at fighting demons, so while I still think Mard would beat him in a 1 VS 1 fight, it'd be hard-diff. So if all the other DG are helping Silver (thus distracting Mard even more than Natsu), I don't see Mard winning.
