I rly don't know what else to say in this matter. I personally believe that not going deep into the details but just listening to something almost as a background sound is a better way to trigger memory references. But again, that's maybe personal.

ROUND THREE - SYMBOL GUESSING

• It consists of recognizing the symbols that often appear in series.
• The tasks in this Round will contain materials from animes/mangas, books/movies, TV shows/cartoons and games.
• The groups will be rewarded according to the stated bellow:
  • 3 points per serie correctly identified;
    
  • 2 point per name/meaning of the symbol (what does it stand for - when it doesn't have a name) correctly identified.
• This way, the groups may achieve a maximum of 50 points by correctly identifying elements in this Round.
• As stated in the opening post, the fastest one to reply will earn a bonus hint for a task in the next challenge.
• Team BIPP earned the last bonus. They should PM me or @Farfalla requesting the hint for a task of their choice.
• The groups should PM me or @Farfalla with the answers - all at once.
• Incorrect answers willl result in 0 points each.
• Partially correct answers will result in 1 point each.
• Each group may use the same PiratePad link to discuss the challenge (using it isn't mandatory though).
• You have 24 hours to submit your answers.

Nope - the Eye of Thundera is the crystal in the sword

Tbh I was also in doubt when we made the challenge, but the eye of thundera is a stone/gem that contains the thundercats symbol, like their suits.
