On the long run I think counting on the bonuses is always more advantageous. Maybe instead of additional points every time, the fastest could get advantages like hints or something.

Didn't have time to proper feedback when this ended, so writing up now.

First of all, I just realised that we lost to Doge by 4 minutes rather than by any points. And on that one round we placed last, even though we got all right and didn't even use substantial amount of more time than other teams. I get the point of promoting and rewarding activity, but I'd still get rid of the time bonus. Maybe a hints system? Like the first team gets to know (by random) one series featured in the next round? Or something. I don't exactly know what would it be yet.

I'm not sure what to think of the last round. It was funny, but it felt bit off after 4 rounds of heavily knowledge based questions. Mh theme is problematic, since we have our 'micro-realities' here in form of sub-forums and their respective users.

But overall this was genious and a lot of fun. Even the drawing part. You did amazing job making the questions un-googleable, which is very challenging this day and age. (Shazam did pick up the Ruroken OP, but thats like 1 one of 40 questions, so not bad).

The team size was pretty good in the end too, 4 seemed to work well.

Ah, agreed about the time bonus part. As I told Demon, I think this hint instead of point bonus suggestion is rly good. If we go on with this in the future, I'm gonna adopt it. I like the idea of giving one of the answers - even tho they'd have to check to what task it belongs. At first I thought the point bonus would make the game way more strategical, but seeing how close to each other people were in almost all rounds, I understand the frustration^^' Plus it made me follow the forum all the time so I could warn people whenever someone sent the answers xD it was hard to do that somedays.

And the last one was supposed to be a more funny and engaged round but I see why it felt out of place, so maybe it could be replaced by something else algo series related.

I'm glad you guys had fun overall tho^^ got worried we could have made it too tough (altho we tried to work with very famous stuff from different times), so it was nice to see that the total points were often close between the positions in the ranking.

Me and Hardy wanna do another MHaraton in 2 weeks (starting on June 16th, so far). You may feel free to start subscribing o/
We have to adjust some things first though:
- First one is in the poll. We're changing the bonus the first group to deliver the answers gets. We wanna know what people prefer as a time reward, please vote.
- Last round will still be a collaborative drawing round, but now it will also be related about books, movies, tv shows, animes, mangas and games (and not about the MH members like in the past one).
Bellow are the rules with those changes. If you have something else to ask/suggest, shoot!


FORMING GROUPS

• Form groups of up to 4 people. If you prefer, you can play alone.
• You may name your group to facilitate its identification. If that doesn't happen, your group will be called after a number.
• You may pick a color for your group to facilitate its identification. If that doesn't happen, a color will be assorted for it.
• You may also use this thread to invite people (for that, use @+ the username) and arrange your group.

SCORING POINTS

• Everyday, you will recieve questions to answer/tasks to do.
• Your challenges will be related to books, movies, tv shows, cartoons, animes, mangas, comics and games.
• By correctly solving them, you get points for your group (2 to 10 points per correct information).
• Answers that are partially correct will result in half of the intended points, rounded down.
• The fastest group to reply will earn a bonus (a hint to the answer of a specific task, to be chosen by the group, in the next round).

ROUNDS AND END GAME

• Solutions have to be PMed to the host(s) within 24h for each round, at any time. That also means that each round lasts for a day.
• There will be always a 12h gap between rounds, so it starts in different periods. This way, it should be fairer to everyone in different time zones.
• The time the PMs are sent will be used define the fastest one.
• There will be a total of 5 rounds. By then end of all rounds, the group with the biggest sum of points wins.
