@Faust I'm a bit confused though. Let's say we get almost everything right but 2 things, which then affects the placement in the grid. We get no points even if we know the correct answers?

So to be clear each tile can also be a word with more than one syllable? For example a picture of Scrooge McDuck could be "Scrooge", "McDuck", "Mc" or "Scrooge McDuck", and more?

It's a bit unclear because first it says "word(s), syllable(s)" but under bonus points it only says "syllable"...
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Or does each tile represent strictly one syllable of a word/one-syllable words?
--- Double Post Merged, ---

It's hard to start trying to solve stuff when you don't even understand what you have to work with... but could just be me being dumb.

Yeah he said it's either a word in it, or a syllable, or even an hompohone.

And yeah the last part concerns me I hope that's not the case. Imagine you solve everything correctly but don't slot them the same way faust did, lol...

Or "duck", or words that sound even vaguely like any of the aforementioned

Worst thing about this round is that you might think you're making steady progress, but you could just be finding a bunch of wrong solutions which also fit and you'll never know unless you solve every single "category" (and even then it's not 100% sure it's correct).

Still fun though! :verily

You can send up to two guesses per tile clue.
1-Point Each
Preferably, answer them in this order:
B1-B7
C1-C7
P1-P7
Y1-Y7
W1-W7
G1-G7
R1-R7
Could you explain what this means? I don't think I'm getting it?

Like we are supposed to ask if R1 means "duck" or "McDuck"? What are we supposed to guess with the tiles?
--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

Answer what in which order?? I'm so confused

Yeah guess the tile clues based on the images inside each of them.
They are 49 tiles in total (7 tiles from the seven different colored honeycombs)
The blue ones are marked:
B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7 and so on for the other colors.
(Click the Numbering/Coordinates spoiler on the stickied post)
You can guess up to two times per tile.

You need to get all correct tiles and they should be in the right order to get point(s)
--- Double Post Merged, ---

@Evil3ye for example a picture of 'Count von Count' is on Blue Tile #1 (B1)

You can guess:
zimbardo / Vampire or
Count / Dracula.

You can guess twice per individual tile

Please help me explain based on the playtesting @z.5. It's basically the same but with multiple tiles. 🙏
--- Double Post Merged, ---

@z.5 Don't post the latest two images that I let you playtest though the other hexagon with bubble buddy and 4x4 with 16 images. You can post the first hexagon tile as an example (the one with Vi, Lin, and "Cersei")

I'll try to come up with a small scale example later. If z doesn't show up when I got back.

It's my grandma's birthday. I need to take a nap (just finished playing MapleStory) gonna go to my grandma's place in 4 hours for her bday celebration.

Which is impossible unless you get every correct answer, unless I'm missing something here.

Uhrr... I will try and find time, but no promises

Certainly not for the next hour

Just off the top of my head:
If you found tiles with pictures of Gaara, Ororo Munroe, and black lightning, then one answer might be:

Darude Sandstorm
Darui [uses black lightning in the Naruto manga], Sand [Gaara controls sand], Storm [Ororo's X-Men name]

I've had a quick look at the tiles above and have certainly found some answers [that I'm sure are correct] which require a little 'chubby bunnies' to solve

If you don't know what this is, it's a children's game where you have to say words with a mouthful of marshmallows (adding more each time you succeed)

If I can, I will give you guys another example/better description after I've driven for an hour and helped sort out all the equipment in the lab
:verily

You can post the first hexagon tile as an example (the one with Vi, Lin, and "Cersei")
I really hope that I'm not making a mistake (and ruining some of the answers) by posting

TILE NUMBERING
  1. Majora [7, 3]
  2. Goblin [5, 2]
  3. Violet Evergarden [1, 6, 4]
''Majora' comes from the word 'ma' (another way to say 'mother' [the name of the TV series]) and 'jora' (the character is Sir Jorah Mormont)

'Goblin' comes from the word 'goblet' (the thing that Cersei is drinking from) and the character 'Lin' (from the KoF series)

'Violet Evergarden' comes from 'Violet' (the name of the character from LoL) 'ever' (the FT character is called 'Evergreen', I believe [I don't know FT and had to Google this one]) and 'garden' (the band is called 'Savage Garden')

Hopefully the above is useful

to solve these
I really suggest writing down all possible ideas for each [and every] possible word that can fit a tile

Preferably before you try and solve these - it's really quite easy to use a tile with a different answer (to the one it's meant to be used in) and really fucking yourself over (killing 2 birds answers with one stone, so to speak)

Did say I hoped I wouldn't be ruining the game (if anything, blame Faust - he did ask me to post it, after all)

Buuuut the number of possiblities is infinite :errr

I don't have the skills to write down infinity, even if you give me another life before deadline :arf

Yeah.... the thought of getting an answer right but using a syllable from the wrong tile and not getting any points bc of that... it terrifies me. :scry

I did exactly this, during testing - and it looks like Faust has changed the tile in question (so that this one, particular, tile won't be as much of an issue)

... That fucking 'goblet' was a serious stretch of imagination, to solve during testing (I spent a nice long while trying to pronounce 'Cersei', or 'Lannister', or 'Queen', etc. into something [anything] that might possibly fit the answer)
:emocat
