Ravens draft at #14... been quite some time since we drafted that early. Saw a mock draft mentioning some OL from Kentucky. Hopefully we either go OT or draft the next Haloti Ngata.

Same problem down here...cant build that line.
Sux...cause you'd figure thats easy...but some of the best lines...say cowboys in early 90s and pats mid 2000s are rare.
You guys had a good line stretch there too...mid 2000s along with that D

The biggest issue is Stanley not being able to stay healthy. That's why we were willing to trade Brown (that and getting a 1st for him despite him being a 3rd round pick). But I don't think DeCosta can go into next season assuming he's going to be there, let alone be at that same level. Bozeman might make more money in FA so that's Center being a question mark all over again too.

For the DL it's mainly just a lack of youth. Brandon Williams is probably getting paid elsewhere, Calais Campbell might retire. Derek Wolfe didn't play a snap this season and he's north of 30.

I think Wink needs to clean out his desk too honestly. The defensive scheme just isn't paying off like it used to. That and zero adaptability when Peters and Humphrey went down. It's one thing to leave those guys on an island and get coverage sacks off of it, it's another when you do it with backups and the pass rush isn't doing jack shit. We have players like Oweh, Bowser, and Houston and they're dropping back into coverage due to some I-am-very-smart zone blitz package that has no consistency. Can't believe I'm saying it but bring back Dean Pees....

The fact that one week the cowboys/eagles/giants or redskins(always gonna be it to me xD) look great then the next week you like wtf..
Im sorry...me growing up those were all powerhouses.
Just seems weird to me that none of them have really cemented them selves as year to year winners only having a couple lucky catches by giants in like the last 20yrs...besides TO playing with a broken leg and McNabb puking out his helmet xD

Fine, but I'd still argue the same point. The division is competitive, but not really because of it being full of good teams (or even 2 of them usually). Aside from 2017 when the Eagles won the trophy, if you look at the last 10 years or so the NFC East winner usually loses in the first round of the playoffs, even at home in the Wild Card round. And why is the NFC East winner so frequently playing during the wild card round? Well, it kind of speaks for itself.

If you don't count this season due to the expansion of playoff teams, the NFC East has only produced 2 Wildcard qualifying teams in the last 12 years. Hard to really call that competitive.

You're cherry-picking three seasons out of 20. The data just doesn't back up saying the NFC East is the best division in football and it especially doesn't in the last 10 years. Is the AFC East the best division in the 21st Century because the Patriots won 6 Super Bowls and 9 AFC Champions Games? Of course not.

The NFC East has had 2 teams in the playoffs 3 times in the past 10 seasons. The AFC North has had 3 teams in the playoffs the same amount of times in that timespan. They don't compare.
