Yes. Obviously, it has many unreal things, but comparing to Nisekoi, and only Nisekoi, it is more realistic.

Hmm. So there's something I need to get off my chest regarding Nisekoi, and I wondered what you guys thought about it. I'm super excited for the anime coming out (those images are really cute, by the way), and I really do like the manga (even if I was apprehensive about it at first), but lately, I haven't been able to get into as I did when I first read it. I've noticed, lately, that there hasn't really been that much story progression, at least not since Marika's friend visited and we got more vague hints about Marika and her situation. But lately it seems like each chapter is its own arc with its own conclusion. It's obviously still doing well enough, and it seems to be ranking well in the polls (last I checked at least), but am I the only one that wishes it'd progress in the main story--the girls and the pendent, instead of doing these little side stories that kind of feel like omake to me? Personally, I'm craving more main plot progression in one direction or another.

I already discussed it here and outside uncountable times, so I am not going to extend me too much. Marika's arc was quite recent, it isn't as if it was years ago, I think that another arc will be shortly. With arc or not, I enjoy the series, happening that I enjoy just a bit more when there is an arc important because I know more about the characters, besides this, nothing com complain about. I like to see the characters in their daily life, it is not as if there were impressive moments full of plot twisters in someone's life always. Komi Naoshi is following the flow and beginning an arc when he thinks that it is opportune, that's my guess.

Since I'm not really familiar with anime adaptions, I have a few questions regarding Nisekoi. If those questions were asked and answered before, I'm sorry.

• How many episodes will be aired weekly/monthly?
• Will the story of the anime adaption be canon for the most part or not?
• Currently, there are 105 chapter of this series. That doesn't seem to be much in my opinion. Won't they catch up with the manga relatively pretty fast, if the anime will be aired weekly and with canon plot? Do we have any information on how they are planning to handle this problem?

For the most part it seems like it will be canon.
it's only a 2 seasons anime, it won't get close to the current chapter.

Just looking at the school in the anime a you could immediately tell is done by shaft, they always have some very freaking fancy awesome school buildings I their animes for some reason. I have been loving everything so far and everything looks gorgeous, I really hope they keep up the good work.

Nisekoi Special Full Color chapter is out.

The comedy begins with the title: "Chapter Service". XD
It really was a fan service, but it didn't appeal to Ecchi as always, it is one of the qualities of Nisekoi for me. The chapter was very well colored, despite of its digital coloring. The girls should watch out where is the geysers. It was fun see them trying to recover their clothes. XD
The best scenes (besides the double page ) was on page 13, where Onodera pass beside Raku. He will never know that one of his dreams is passing beside him. XD
In the end Shuu was doing what was expected, no comments. :P

I'd like to see Marika try to catch the bag, but her face on the double page was already priceless.

The special chapter Not sure how you can say the chapter wasn't ecchi, it definitely was. Not that I mind though, it was some nice change, huhu. The story was funny, Marika definitely was the best with not caring if Raku sees her naked but instead "lusting" for his nude body

Oh and I really like Komi's coloring, like I do with the covers and color pages too I think he's one of the most talented with colouring, compared to the other mangaka of WSJ atm.

You can say that it was ecchi, but it was a very very light ecchi, with nothing appellative or explicit. You know that regarding hot springs we can see things much more worse than this.

I agree. I consider Nisekoi one of the best drawings in Jump, currently, its color pages are specially great.

Weekly. There is no such thing as monthly anime. The number of episodes have not been confirmed yet. It will probably air for six months.

Endless anime like One Piece are very rare. Studio's and networks hate them. The budget is spread too thin and time slots are clogged for years on end. Most are early morning kids shows (One Piece, Toriko), or marketed towards young teens (Naruto, Conan). Most anime air 3 - 6 months, before ending. Popular anime can be brought back for another season, later on. That is what happened with the last two, big Jump anime. Kuroko and JoJo's both had popular, six month long, 2012 anime. Kuroko came back last October, JoJo's will come back in April. Like Nisekoi, they both were marketed towards older, college age audiences.

ecchi means sex. No sex, no ecchi. Nisekoi has fanservice, but not ecchi. To Love Ru is ecchi, Nana to Kaoru is ecchi.

Ecchi doesn't mean sex, ecchi can be something like (censored) nudity too. Something like an erotic fantasy, where you (can) get aroused because you start to imagine what you don't see/what's hinted at. Considering that all female characters are naked for the whole chapter, and only the breasts and lower parts are censored, I definitely would call that ecchi. Seeing actual sex is closer to ****** than to ecchi, as far as I know it.

Yeah, there are pictures showing a lot more, but I guess that's only because the term is very broad in the japanese language, going from mild to extreme. Very light ecchi to me would be something like the picture above, but not completely naked girls walking around for the whole chapter, with only their breasts and lower part censored. Probably a matter of personal view, so let's not start a big discussion about that, but the chapter definitely was ecchi.

Yes, it is a personal view, since I consider this picture more Ecchi than what appeared in the chapter.
Well, my liking for Nisekoi doen't have too much Ecchi is still true.

Ecchi doesn't mean sex, ecchi can be something like (censored) nudity too.

Ecchi literally means sex in Japanese. An ecchi manga includes sexual situations, even if actual intercourse is not depicted. Ecchi is implied sexual content, ****** is explicit sexual content. The Nisekoi special contained a lot of fanservice, but no ecchi. Censored nudity, bathing suits, skimpy clothing, tight clothing, accidental peeping is fanservice. Ecchi is sex. Ecchi, by it's very nature, has a lot of fanservice. But just having fanservice does not make something ecchi.

Chapter 106

Interesting how Chitoge change of personality completely when she isn't wearing her ribbon. XD
In the beginning she teased Raku for caring too much about his promise and the keyhole, but now she also has something that recalls her past, and, ironically, with Raku. That was the chapter that she most cried, really good that everything ended well.
It was good to see this side of Chitoge, she is always cute, but without his side tsundere she gets a bit more, I guess. :P

Special Chapter: That was epic. Tsugumi censoring Chitoge was the best way to censor things. Furthermore Marikas hungry eyes... This is why I love that girl! Also liked how Ruri didn't care at all when the fence broke... x'D

Chapter 106: Was that really Chitoge? Whoever that girl was, she was so cute... Even Raku noticed and that really means something. Well him noticing that Chitoge is a real beauty is serious progress me thinks.

Chapter 107 is out

This chapter was really interesting because we ended up to know more about what Haru thinks. I already don't know if she has a true feeling towards Raku, sometimes seems like it, sometimes not. At the end of this chapter I came to the conclusion that that feelings was brought by her inner conflicts, since she didn't know the entire story, I guess her true feeling is protect her sister and even if she has a slight sentiment for Raku, she will not rivalize with your own sister, she will try to help her now that she knows about Chitoge and Raku fake love (which is not fake love anymore, but officially it is).
I think it may heat up the story, looking forward to the next chapter.

P.S.: Beautiful color page. There were two CPs, one with Chitoge and other with Onodera, with the same style, a close in their faces. My ranking is Chitoge > Tusugumi > Onodera.
