Well, we still have ShuuxRuri. If Komi wants to go out with a swan song before the final arc, then he should do them first, considering how high-ranking they are in the polls.
Calm down... Soon we will have Onodera's arc and we will have the chance to feel no compassion for her. XD
You know, it is necessary and this is even what makes a good harem manga. Many of them don't make a clear choice because the author is afraid of what the readers will think. I'm glad Nisekoi and Komi Naoshi is not giving in to the pressure. Nisekoi rankings are terrible right now, Yui's, Marika's, Haru's fans all quit in rage I bet.
There is the special chapters "Newly married", which is something like that.
That is going to be nice. Onodera is the one character I feel like there is no way he can get me rooting for. At least I hope not...
It's just that it seems like this has been a long string of side stories dedicated to showing off the appeal of heroines that aren't going to get the guy one after the other. How could people not rage quit? That's just consecutive daggers to the heart.

Yes, it is going to be awesome, but bad for the business. For some reason I don't know Onodera is popular, very popular. Well, judging by what we know about Onodera, it is going be fast actually. As soon as she knows that Chitoge likes Raku and Raku likes Chitoge, she will immediately give up like she almost did once. I don't see a fighting spirit coming from Onodera at all, it would be the surprise of the manga.
Well, I don't know if you complained about that, but people really complained about """"filler"""" chapters, so now that Komi Naoshi is going serious into the plot, more complains? XD
If Komi Naoshi take a break from the arcs to let the readers breath they will used this breath to complain, so... XD
This week CP was beautiful.... Komi Naoshi said in his commentary that he used a new set of colors to draw it. I love how Komi Naoshi is alwasys changing your style and making everything more and more beautiful.
As for the chapter, yes, Tsugumi has no chance, but I think she will be fine when she discover that Chitoge actually likes Raku, I think it will happen in this arc. Chitoge will have a great ally in her way to confess to him.

you know i cannot be mad at onodera, her type of character is very common in romcoms, "the budding romance that didnt blossum" or whatever and her shyness will be her undoing
raku on the other hand takes the "oblivious male protagonist" cliche to a new level
how in the HELL can onodera tell you "watch me be brave ichijo-kun" and not understand that she likes him?
i mean REALLY
i think most guys at least had that level of understanding of the opposite sex by middle school

a ton of guys like the shy-soft spoken type and get turned on by chicks who act that way and many female readers may actually be like onodera (afraid to tell the guy they like how they feel)

i will say this, i believe haru and tsugumi play similar roles
and tsugumi is going to find out , probably from chitoge , that chitoge is in fact actually in love with raku, at which point tsugumi will do the noble thing a friend would do, and bow out, with a broken heart...
i wish girls in real life had that kind of honor!!!
honestly its the way he draws the eyes, he is one of the best in the business at that

It is no wonder that Raku and Onodera are the ones I dislike the most in the series. One is too shy to confess and the other thinks that he is too bad to be loved, because it is how it is, Raku doesn't have any confidence in himself, like when I realized that Chitoge could be in love for him he didn't believe, even Marika he took a time to really believe and even so he asks himself many times why she likes him. hahahaha
I really like girls that have attitude and I have to confesse the obvious although I root for Chitoge: Marika deserved more if I had just to take this into consideration. Even though Chitoge didn't confess yet she did many more things to get near him and all, learned how to be thoughtful about him, even in a clumsy way, etc. I think I already said it here, but I think that Chitoge's development was fantastic and I believe that she will be the one that will confess.

This week's chapter was extraordinary... Komi Naoshi surpass himself in every chapter... It ended up as we predicted, Chitoge told Tsugumi that she likes Raku, it is easy to notice that. Tsugumi styed loyal to Chitoge until the very end and she will not make any grudge against Chitoge at all, she really loves Chitoge and her happiness and Tsugumi's happiness. Tsugumi will be fine and she will find someone for sure, she a great girl and a great friend... The scene where she "confess" to Raku was excelente as well... It was the way she found to relieve everything that she had in your heart without disturbing Chitoge's course with Raku. If that worked for her, it is all right. Now everything is settled with Tsugumi, who's left? Will Komi Naoshi give us some of Ruri and Shu before going serious with Onodera and Chitoge's arc? Looking forward to reading next week's chapter.

once again i hate to bash, but tsugumi showed more character in one chapter than onodera has shown in the entire manga, i think i fell in love with tsugumi in this chapter!!! i have always liked her, and been a member of team chitoge... but she left a lasting impression on me this chapter. what leo said was spot on, we kind of predicted this would happen (tsugumi and chitoge having the girl talk) yet komi's delivery of tsugumi's heartbroken , reluctant withdrawl from the race was powerful and moving
***** 5 stars on this weeks chapter, it reminded me why i fell in love with nisekoi

Everybody fell... Tsugumi lost Raku, but she gained a lot of candidates in return. XD
After Marika and Chitoge she is my favorite... She was always of great help, Raku really cherishs her friendship, asking advice for him and for others, she was always reliable and a loyal friend... Her last impression was the utmost meaning of this, reliable and loyal until the very end.... And I don't think she will disappear now... Chitoge's happiness will only be full when she is truly dating Raku, so Tsugumi will help her for sure.

Finally, it is time for Ruri's epiphany... I think it is clear that she doesn't like how Shu normally behaves, but she has always been a bit interested in him otherwise she would care so much about him and punch him every time he does something stupid. However, now she is knowing a side of him that she hasn't known up to now... Kyouko already said it when she gave farewell to the series, Shu is much more responsible and mature than the common guys in his age. His interest for education is a bit surprising, but not that much given his love for Kyouko, who probable gave him inspiration, and his mature side... In this Ruri will know a facet of Shu that she didn't know and she will be fascinated by it because it will be the type she likes.
Ah yes, the obligatory "Ruri discovers the idiots caring side and falls for him even though she isn't interested in him". As if helping a kid find their mother isn't something a lot of other people would do.

she is going to see how much he cares for this lost child and how he genuinely wants to help the kid find their parents, and she is going to fall head over heels

That's not the point. She already knows about his mature side and she quite likes him already, she is just in denial. She is surprised (and fascinated) every time she witness that side of him, like with the whole teacher deal, that chapter with the girl confessing to him or when he took that famous photo. This arc will just push her and she finally will get that she likes him. Don't dismiss all their development in the past chapters.

Well said, that's it about Ruri.
Shu though is bound to discussion because it is not clear whether he has feelings for Ruri or not since he just ended his case with Kyouko-sensei... Had he had feelings for both all along? Well, they appeared a lot together in many situations, we can say that Ruri is Shu's type (a responsible and dependable one) and it looks like he really wanted to be friends with Ruri, but this to go to love after what happened with Kyouko is a bit uncertain... I don't know what he is thinking really...

You're right. I don't know what he is thinking right now or where he would stand in a possible romantic relationship with her, he is so hard to read. That's why I really hope that he takes off his mask in this arc with her so that we could understand better what he feels about her... it's a bit one-sided on Ruri part at the moment.
Once more Komi Naoshi was perfect... It is incredible how he conducts the chapters in such a way that makes everything so well developed. First it seemed like that Ruri would lead the search for Rosa's parents because she knew English (Chitoge and Tsugumi best teachers!) and all, but behind the scenes Shu was moving in a much more effective way... It is remarkable how he conducted the search and gathered more information from Rosa without even talking to her! He is thoughtful and a good observer, he knows well how to deal with children, it seems. Shu's information network was awesome (weeell, a bit creepy as well. XD) and they are almost finding Rosa's parents already. But the whole point of all this was to make Ruri see that Shu is more than he shows to everyone. She really went in the spot, he is not someone who tells people what he is thinking (see what I said above?) and his actions can be misinterpreted because of this, but he is really a very nice that also improved a lot looking up to Raku. Ruri, smart as she is, was unexpectedly biased with Shu all this time and she admited this in this chapter. Finally, she asked the question that everybody wanted to see... It was not a "I like you, date me!", but it was Ruri-like... XD
Why he tells her things that even Raku doesn't know? What Shu is going to answer?
