leo i think i may have been accurate my friend, i didnt see 214 progressing as fast as it did, this thing may be over in under 5 chapters at this pace...

something has to happen now that these three are together

either
1: chitoge runs off crying, and her mom comes down to scald raku for being a playboy
2: onodera , realizing chitoge also loves raku, finally shows courage and puts them both on the spot, forcing the issue
3: chitoge tells the truth and forces raku to make a decision/tells them both how the other feels and tries to play matchmaker between raku/ono

either way the shit is about to hit the fan in 215

Do you really think so? We know Nisekoi very well to know that things are not that simple to solve. XD
I think that Hana will have a role in this because, you should remember, she knows something about ten years ago that she hasn't revealed yet. I think the first possibility is the most likely and besides saying all this, Hana will also talk about what she knows and this is gonna be the trigger. We know that Onodera will do nothing, she was passive the entire series, she will not become active out of the blue, Raku will not realize anything and Chitoge will be stuck between telling or not since Onodera is there. Something exterior has to push them forward that will be Hana and the promise. So, the chronological order of the things will be this: Chitoge will run away from them and the chapter will be basically about it, with Onodera and Chitoge thinking about their own problems while chasing Chitoge. Then they end up in Hana's office. The chapter ends here. After this Hana will say what she knows, most likely, and then Komi Naoshi can even make a flashback with the memories that will come out from Raku, Onodera and Chitoge memories after Hana saying everything. Not to mention when they come back to Japan and all. If Komi Naoshi really wants to explain everything without rush, 5 chapters are not enough at all.

another chapter didnt quite go the way i thought it would, i didnt see chitoge running away this entire chapter, nor did i see onodera and raku not being able to speak to her (well onodera did for a moment)

with 215 going the way it did i feel like you are probably right leo

It basically went the way I told so with some unexpected things that even I have never thought about such as Raku's mother appearing. It was something that slipped out from our minds, from everybody's mind honestly, because Raku or his father never mentioned Raku's mother and we just assumed that she died or something like that. Now we found out that she is alive and, as if it weren't enough, she is the author of the picture book that gave birth to all this. This was a plot twist that I didn't expect at all and it is awesome! XD
Now things get complicated, right? It will easily surpass 10 chapters. hahaha
I wonder how she is like and why she left Raku and everything... Thinking about that now, it is kind of strange that Raku forgot everything about the promise when he is so obsessed by it... Maybe some traumatic event involving his mother happened and then he forgot it out of protection? It happens a lot in mangas, but wouldn't it be too dramatic for Nisekoi? Well, let's see... The story is going up a path that I didn't expect, so I have to re-organize my ideas...

Chapter 216

It was an interesting chapter although it didn't advance the story that much, it was good to know how the book was written and how it go to the hand of Chitoge. It is good for Chitoge to know everything because she will end up remembering something in the end and I think the moment will be in the next chapter when she will visit the place where her and Raku met. The place is very similar to where Raku saw the girl reading the book and changed the final of it, so I think it is only one more proof that Chitoge is the promise girl. All this knowledge will make Chitoge move forward and face her friends and Raku. I think that's it for now, but it was curious that Raku's mother face was not showed in any moment... Why? Is there any secret about that? We will see...

i cannot figure out why rakus mothers face was hidden in every shot... i kept waiting to see it and i got nothing but dissapointment

either way it was a good chapter, we got a little bit of progression, i thought onodera was about to do something bold, and yet again she failed...

I don't see it as a disappointment, but a way to stimulate me to ask questions about and theorize. There must be some reason because Komi Naoshi never did it before.

I didn't even mentioned Onodera in my last post because, you know, it is not worth it. She is already done, she is losing her biggest opportunity.

I doubt it is the case, but the only real reason (that I can currently think of) of why an author would want to hide a face like that, is if the readers may recognise her...
There aren't actually that many people who we have met in this manga - could that mean that perhaps Raku's mother is related to someone we know?

i was thinking this as well, either the author would reveal the face later, so we could see who she resembles, or he hid it because this is the only time we would see her, so he didnt want to emphasize a character who would never be seen again

i do commend her for wanting chitoge to have a fair chance, but she is digging her own grave

Also, what Raku saw when Shu said those things to him? Part of the faces of both Chitoge and Onodera appeared, so that means that he will not choose any of them? Me neither, that's why I didn't mention the rumor that is spreading throughout the internet. We knew that it was near of the end 10 weeks ago or so..

I think she just wants to know what decision Raku will make after knowing the truth. It is very clear that Marika knows more than she told everybody and she can even know who is the promise girl. I think that's why she wants to be there, she doesn't think that she will gain anything from it, she just wants to see if Raku will make the right decision and be happy with it. Knowing her, see Raku happy is enough.

i did find it quite humorous that tsugumi was in antartica.... shu wins mvp for this chapter though, he came up with the perfect way for raku to decide
