How come you think Zahard and the Family Heads are more cancerous to the Tower than FUG? There is literally no evidence for such a claim and my intention here is not to defend Zahard and the Family Heads. Most complaints aimed at them come directly from people affiliated with FUG, so their view should be taken with a grain of salt, since SIU never gave us a detailed inisght about Zahard, the Family Heads and their politics. On the other hand, we have FUG forcing, threatening, hurting and taking captive kids to fulfill their goals.

Again, I'm not a Zahard and Family Heads defender, even though it may appear so. They surely are shady in their own way. I'm just saying that there is not a single shred of information regarding their point of view and this is what I actually need to proper judge them. At this point, they made no move whatsoever against Baam, if I recall correctly. In that regard, FUG is on a whole different level for now.

Ha Jinsung doesn't seem to be a bad person, because in contrast to the other batshit crazy FUG guys, he seems almost normal. He shows some kind of respect towards Baam and there are even some panels where he seems to feel sorry for him. Furthermore, he never tried to kill Baam unlike Karaka and the other FUG members who take every opportunity to get hold of Baam like a tool/weapon.

The fact that Baam holds no grudges against Hwa Ryun or Jinsung is because he is a shounen-ish main character and thus not written realistically every time. These guys made Baam's life a living hell, literally.


By the way, Phantaminum being an Axis and able to destroy the whole Tower instantly excludes him as an enemy for Baam.

Also Zahard and the families are more cancerous is cuz of that angel girl said .... when she asked the yeon girl how many babies are born in the middle areas cuz of them raping all the women there ... this is why i hate them also they force shit on people .. fug does that too but fug wouldnt exist if zahard was king imo

I tend to think Zahard's people are pretty bad. I mean we saw that sheep guy from RED show up and brag about killing Anak's family so they aren't the good guys. What the angel girl said I don't really put too much credence in because she's a FUG loyalist. Of course she'd say that. We haven't met any members of the 10 Families who are actually that nefarious yet (most of them have been fighting on Baams side)

Based on the actions of the people we've seen working for each faction so far, I think FUG is pretty clearly the more evil of the two. Even somebody like Hwa Ryun helped Rachel set up Baam at the end of season 1 so that FUG could get their hands on him. Jinsung even allowed the workshop battle fiasco to happen in order to take Karaka down a peg. I'm sure Zahard and the 10 Families and those who work for them are responsible for some heinous stuff but the vast majoirty of characters relating to them have actually helped out Baam and his friends. So it's hard to frame them as more evil right now.

There is no such thing as evil imo, people step over people in the tower all the time are they evil?

But tbh the 10 families has done so much damage and also i rly liked Urek mazino cuz he rather wanted to get out of the tower..

Sure Yuri androsssi yihwa anak has been fighting with baam (and koon and ran) ... but still i just cant see the current leaders / king as good people also banning ur children from falling in love and dating is stupid

Well, according to the wiki, SIU stated that he doubts Phantaminum will ever appear in Tower of God. But who knows, if he might have a change of mind in the future.

I don't know why you so strictly believe in Angels's statements, even though we have never seen members of the 10 Great Families, who are at a high level in the hierarchy, deal with such cases. While on the other hand, we have witnessed at first hand the evil deeds of top FUG members. I fail to see how Zahard and co. can be seen as more evil than FUG at this point.

And I guess you wanted to say that FUG wouldn't exist, if Zahard was not the King? Which is a really flawed view in my opinion, no offense. There will always be an opposition party regardless of whether you are the nicest person of authority or not. Seeing what FUG has done til now makes me doubt that their rule would be any better than Zahard's.

Regarding the Zahard Princesses, please do not forget that becoming a Zahard Princess is considered an achievement which many women long for. The only question here is, whether you can decline the nomination or not. If they have the freedom of choice, then there is no reason to blame Zahard here. In that case, the women deliberately accepted Zahard's conditions in exchange for power, fame and possibly wealth. And if they don't have the freedom of choice, all I can say is that being forced to become a Zahard Princess seems to be a much better option than being forced to work for FUG. We have seen four Princesses (Yuri, Maschienny, Repellista, Androssi) and it doesn't look like they despise their situation. Though, that may change in the future, but for now FUG seems much, much worse than Zahard.

Interesting theory.

I think that Baam will go to the 77th floor and meet Urek Mazino. Urek Mazino will tell Baam to join FUG for some purpose. Baam will do so and take over the slayer position by killing Karaka.

I also believe that Yuri and Urek Mazino's goal is to kill King Zahard as well. Just a theory btw.

Hmh, that's hard to believe. During the Zygaena arc, Urek made it clear that he isn't interested in Zahard at all. This guy just wants to leave the Tower. As long as Zahard does not hold the key to the outside world, Urek has no reason to target him. Furthermore, Urek already met Arie Hon and it is rumored that he also met Gustang with the believe that he could tell him the way out of the Tower. And both Family Heads are still alive, so it doesn't look like he has any intention to kill them.

Yuri's plan on the other hand is a mystery, if she even has any that is. Though, I doubt someone who wants to kill Zahard would behave and react like she did in Chapter #252 or Chapter #253.

He may no be intresseded in his throne but that doesnt count him out that he wants him dead tbh, maybe Wangnan or Yuri will take his place if that Barrier just said happens .. Maybe Urek sends baam on some mission to destroy FUG from within since Ha jinsung did say baam might come for his seat some day (which Hints at some time in the future Baam "might rejoin fug") ... but u never know .. baam could be the main villain at the end of this story

Well i was thinking of this posiblity we have all seen how crazy this guy is and he has few screw loose(which that guide guy who guides Yuri said.)

He has that demon inside of him also which hasn't really activated yet.

There is also the possiblity if zahard or anyone that is "on the side of the people" kills Rachel which baam sees a star and a life source(since he wouldnt care about anything else if she dies).

The recent feats of baam even made White to say that Baam is a monster. Its kind a awesome that he almost 1 hit ko. ed him. I hope he ditches the soul powers and finishes the ricepot training.

That's true. But I just like the idea of Baam using a Needle. Perhaps he will master the Thorn to the point where he can craft a needle out of it anyway

Didn't Albelda say that there is more than one Thorn in the Tower?

I would very much prefer bam to have a combustion weapon alongside his talent than souls and the thorn. It's a shame bam does not even know how to use a weapon.

He possibly could learn to use sword skills better than Hatsu or Hook techniques better than Anak by training with those weapons for just a while.

Anyone thinking that Baam is getting way too powerful for his teammates to keep up with him? How are his teammates going to serve the plot if Baam is going to be leagues above his comrades regarding strength or intelligence?

@KK didnt Baam copy the Aire move from Hoaquin? It would make sense that he can use those moves again though may be the creation of sword from shinsoo is a long shot for him at present but give 20 more floors or 30 it shouldnt be too hard for him. I think he is proficient in sword usage now after copying Hoaquin.

In all honesty i would love it if Baam uses the thorn and few other stuffs he gains to forge his own sword using the shinso it id be like grabbing the thorn from his shoulder and using the shinso to give it a shape. The power of that weapon would be massive and instead of thorn being an eyesore hanging around baam the use would be fantastic imho.

I was under the impression that arie swordsmanship couldn't be copied or learned unless you were specifically an arie.

But didnt Hoaqin get amazed that Baam copied his move and started to call him monster? he got specifically angry because baam mastered his swordmanship. Its tedious to go through all the chapter to find the exact one so I cant verify this though.

It was not really his swordsmanship that he copied but his swordcraft. Baam can't rival the likes of Hoaqin or Hatsu in terms of swordsmanship but he can copy Hoaqin's techniques exclusive to his clan.

I see but that should be hax enough i mean if he spends amassing all of these i am sure he will be a swordsman worth a lot. Personally speaking given how Baams character is developed from S1 to this arc it is not unfair to think that if he spends a bit of time honing his swordmanship he will be better than Hatsu and hoaqin. Just sparring with Boro daily should do the trick. He an then add the swordscrft he copied to make him a formidable one in this line of battle.

From what I understood, he can't use the souls power for now so he shouldn't be able to use the sword techniques as well.
But since the souls are still inside him, maybe he will be able to use it in the future as well.

Yeah, you are right. but the blog post also makes the point that you can't really master this unless you are an actual arie. So even if you learn this it would be but a cheap copy. Which to be fair could be useful considering how OP the fighting style is as it is but I still don't see bam getting into that. There are plenty of things bam can copy that he can potentially master to an even greater degree than the original user.
