I don't expect bam to ever have physical strength comparable to a koon or zahard princess. The koon family is quite insane in that regard, data eduan was able to exchange punches with data zahard... My suggestion is that bam should be about average for the 10 families. Which is a lot more than he has now but much less than what ran, aguero or androsi can get.
In that case, I agree that he should have that. And I suspect he will.

Baam started out a lot less powerful than most irregulars seemed to and I suspect we'll get the reasoning for that later on. It could be that he just never started trying until he climbed the tower unlike others. The 10 family members seem to get some training before they become regulars. Baam never had that. So maybe that's why he started relatively weak. Another possibly is that whatever happened with his resurrection from the dead had some lingering side effects. That seems plausible too.

Whatever the case may be he seems to be more than catching up now. And I believe his plateau is going to be quite high.

Baam's physical strength should be good even now. But his physicals abilities are nothing special compared to the best, the members of the Ten Families even disregarding Zahard and Ha families.

Baam's talents are clear, I don't see why he would suddenly get better than the average 10 Families member physically. He has his powerful Shinsoo strengthening. Leesoo used an item which blocks Shinsoo on him to beat him before, A.A relied on his inferior physical abilities to beat Nemesis Viole. But the thing is that with the Thorn, all of Baam's abilities are stronger, that's because of the Thorn that he defeated Leesoo's teammate IIRC. The Thorn solves the physical ability issue and it boosts his Shinsoo even more. He is different from people gifted with high physical abilities.
It wasn't that long ago that aguero literally says that bams weakness in his physical strength. And that he most likely couldn't take a single of agueros spears. Bam hasn't overcome his physical weakness, in fact, far from it.

Also, the thorn clearly does not solves the issue. Just look at how the fight against zahard has turned out. The most dangerous hits bam has taken are basically punches.

Isn't body reinforcement a possible answer to that?

Shinsoo can be used to increase physical strength. That's not really Baam's specialty right now but it's a pretty common ability.

That was Data Viole, who doesn't have the Thorn. Zahard is something else even among the physical monsters. And he must use Shinsoo reinforcement as well, same for Baam. With the Thorn ignited Baam's physical abilities are at least at the level of an average member of the 10 Families.

I would argue reinforcement compensates for that somewhat but doesn't actually solve the issue because there are people who have insane physical capacity along with fantastic shinsoo reinforcement. Add to that the possibility that shinsoo reinforcement is not necessarily a skill wave controllers excel at, it is likely one where physical fighters are actually superior.

How strong (physically) do you think Yeon family is ? So far it seems their abnormality is not related to physical strength like Koons (they can act as tank against arie swordmanship) or like the princess rather their edge is being sth like a living fire.

Yeah but that version of bam still has bams basic physical abilities which are likely the same as post revolution bam (without shinsoo of course). Imagine bam 90 floors from now facing an irregular. All of them have superior physical capacity and spectacular shinsoo control. It's not necessarily crippling but it could be very different than facing data zahard. Bam just keeps growing stronger and stronger as he fights data zahard who is basically stuck at his strength level.

Hana According to the lore is a fisherman and wave controller. I assume she must have had substantial physical strength because the position itself requires the ability to take hits. Fire is an element that has a number of advantages at all ranges though. As in, punching hana was likely a dangerous endeavor that could get you burned at least. As a fisherman, her jumping in near where a target is could be devastating. It'd be interesting to see what exactly made her a wave controller though.

bams physicality will most probably be 50% of the 10FH when hes a ranker but his shinsu will obviously be insane because shinsu is his forte but it has been hinted that bam has fisherman qualities so maybe he'll be like zahard he will be able to fill any position

I know I've been spamming lately about Enryu and I promise I will stop when we get to know more but for the mean time I can't stop thinking about him and what he did on the 43rd floor but what makes everything more interesting is how he enters the tower and disappears without a trace and that's why I wanted to make this thread.

So when I was searching for the 25th Bam on google I came across a post on Reddit that the name ''Purelilith'' posted. I don't know if she/he came up with this theory or if she got it from somewhere else but I'll give her credit for it because I got it from her so let's go.

  • Theory:
''It is said that there is a possibility for Bam to be Enryu. That Enryu maybe made a copy of himself or something like that. It can be true, since he was trapped in a cave. Why related with the cave? When Bam was talking with Rachel, Bam stated that it feels like he did a very bad thing before and him trapped in a cave is a punishment, and a consequence for what he possibly could have done. This can explain why the needle(Enryu's spike or whatever) accepted him, because he was the original owner. When he was going to the floor of death( the floor Enryu killed whatever and made the floor cover in pool of blood) Bam mentioned that it felt like he was going to where he truly belongs... If this theory is true, it explains why he can control so many waves at the same time compared to others. I don't really think much of this one but this is one of the theories made.''

So first of all, I want to talk about what the name ''Enryu'' means. I searched a bit on google and found a site with a meaning to this name and here it is:

  • According to a user from Pennsylvania, United States, the name Enryu is of Korean origin and means "The one who leads".
  • According to a user from India, the name Enryu is of Unknown origin and means ""the one who leads"".
So the name Enryu means ''the one who leads in korean'' and the first thing that got on my mind when I read this was Baam. The reason is simple. Everyone that has read the TOG story up until the latest chapter knows that everyone wants to follow Baam but the motives to why they follow him are different. Some people like Rak and Khoon has been with him since the beginning and felt like he was something else, and when I say something else I don't talk about Baam's power. It's more like that he has something that makes people want to believe in him, to have faith in him, to stand by his side no matter what for who he is. Furthermore, I can also mention that not everyone thinks the same like Rak and Khoon does. Some believe that if they follow a irregular like Baam with exceptional powers they don't have to worry. My point is to show that everyone follows him for different reasons.

Now to continue even further, Let's talk about the cave and what Baam told Rachel and also the red guide that has been showing the path for Baam since the beginning. As mentioned in the theory we know that Baam told Rachel that it feels like he did a very bad thing before and him trapped in a cave is punishment for him which would make sense if Baam was Enryu before he became Baam and it would also make sense that the Thorn accepted Baam of all people because he is simply Enryu the messenger of god. This would also explain why Baam looked like Jesus in the cave...he is simply the messenger of god. Furthermore, I want to talk about Headon. it is said on the Tower of God wiki that Headon is searching for Enryu but I think that he already found him and not to mention who trapped Baam inside that cave. I don't think it was Headon but someone else and this person can maybe be Jahad but the recent spoilers confirmed that Jahad killed him when he was young so what did really happen? Who was the person that trapped Baam inside that cave? Was it the god from the outside? Also when Baam enters the tower he is already expected by Headon which also made me think that if Baam is Enryu then Headon has already found him a long time ago and this also explains how Headon already knew that he would enter later but this theory has flaws since there is no proof of Enryu being Baam yet.

Furthermore, the red guide that keeps showing Baam the path is rather very strange. She has mentioned several times that he must get stronger and also that the path he walks is not just any path..it's a special path. She also told Evan that he can't read Baam's path because it is special as I mentioned earlier. The real question we should be asking here is who is that red guide? also that red hair, It looks similar to Enryu who also has the same hair colour.

Furthermore, when Baam came to the floor of death he said that he felt like home there. This made me think about that If Baam really is Enryu then it makes sense since he attacked the floor and killed Jahad's men and also the administrator that were on Jahad's side. But this also has a flaw. It is said that Arlene gave birth to her child at the floor of death which would also make sense since Baam feels like it's his home. But, what if Arlene gave birth to Baam after the incident at the floor of death where Enryu killed everyone? Then Jahad tracked her down and killed the child which lead to Enryu placing his power in the thorn and created shinsu with life so that the baby didn't die and became a part of that baby O.O.

Finally, It is stated by SIU that Enryu can create life with shinsu and what if that life was Baam? He created life with his shinsu and became that life...this just sounds weird but it can maybe be possible XD.
With such achievements and his relevance to the overall story ,Enryu will always be a hot topic ; thus It is very understandable to put him in various positions.

However, I personally do not believe that He is part of Baam now ; actually I rather dont want to believe so. It is always a better read when different characters are linked in the story . This is just my own opinion but I hope SIU will not mirror Enryu in Baam.

That's what I'm hoping for too man. I really don't like the idea that Enryu became a part of Baam but if the story shows it that way then there is not much for me to say..It's just better to accept it then >.<.

I’m still banking on Hockney being the remnants of Enryu. The facial features are actually similar and if you drain the red from something you get light pink, which is Hockney’s hair color. Not to mention Hockney is connected to the thorn for some odd reason.

My guess is that after the fight with the administrator Enryu became fragmented, either as a side effect of the fight or on purpose to deliver the thorn. But something went wrong and he lost his memory (just like when Hockney got the eyes of Grand De Jah).

Not to mention Hockney is completely different from the other residents of the FoD. He’s not bug like and doesn’t resemble Undead. How did he get there in the first place and why is he different?

It was posted for long but i'd like to comment, i believe Bam will develop his physical attributes in train city when he overused the thorn his physical abilities were quite improved and there he used only punches no shinsoo. i'm of the opinion that the thorn will help him improve but not in the 10FH level.

Enryu is supposed to be super strong and current Hockney is weak compared to Bam.. so what is the point really?

Enryu was super strong when he had the thorn. We don’t know what happened to him at the end of the fight. Perhaps Enryu burned himself out or put all of his power into the thorn for Bam to get later. And maybe Hockney was a leftover shell that wasn’t suppose to happen or was just a side effect.

Enryu is not a god, he is the messenger of a god. Considering his role, he should not be in the Tower because he did what he was asked to do. Maybe he will reappear later if there is another message but he should not be in the Tower right now.

Baam being Enryu would ruin a lot of things, Enryu is a messenger who came to deliver a message and leave the Thorn to Baam. Baam is the son of V and Arlen and Enryu is stronger than Zahard. He being Baam would make no sense.

Hockney could simply get stronger.

No one ever stated that Enryu is a god. Furthermore, I still think that he's inside the tower but on a secret floor or something that hasn't been found yet. I don't remember who said it in the story but I remember reading someone saying that the tower is full of secret floors that hasn't been found yet so he probably hides on a floor like that.

In the chapter where Jinsung Ha visits Karaka we see that it says a “hidden area on the 93rd floor” so there are hidden places within floors, not necessarily other hidden floors.

Also, the tower is so vast that in the Outer area Enryu could potentially hide for a long time, seeing as Hoaqin was able to make a kingdom for a long time there. I have no clue how a regular did that but eh.

Regardless, Enryu could be hiding somewhere. Or he could be in plain sight.

Unless enryu has the means to leave and enter the tower then he probably is still within. It shouldn't be too hard for him to hide considering that even if the tower is but a tiny fishtank it is still made up of at least 134 continent sized floors

To me how things played out simply don't add up to enryu being all that. Of course he is important and powerful but by any logic he was terrible at his delivery job. If i order a garden gnome i don't want the ups guy to give me shit when he delivers it and my garden is not well taken care off.

Enryu for however op he might be is likely just an irregular. As in, he is like zahard, urek...

In my mind how things played out is something like this:

First the guy is tasked with delivering the thorn. A particularly powerful weapon. Which was likely meant to take down zahard.

He arrives to arlens floor. Then sees the servants of zahard desecrating the land and attacks.

So... Was this part of the plan? Enryus attack is suggested to have been in anger. That doesn't sound like something that is a part of a plan coming together. Acting in anger usually is the opposite of what plans need.

So enryu craps on the plan and attacks. Perhaps even using the very thorn he was meant to deliver. Which in turn results in the admin attacking. Which sounds like shit not only hit the fan but it is actively pouring from the shitstorm that is enryus failure to keep his cool.

Then he fights the admin and kills it, effectively destroying the land he was so pissed of at Zahard for desecrating and turned it into an inhospitable wasteland where no life can ever thrive. At this point i am just glad arlen isn't alive to see this and if not that at least not sane enough to comprehend it.

And on top of everything enryu leaves the thorn behind. With nothing to protect it. Its only because of gustang and fug that zahard didn't get it.

Also, enryu won against the admin but that doesnt mean he did so easily or was even well after it. And of course without the thorn, which i can't stress enough he didn't seem to deliver, he is probably not quite as op as he was against the admin.

Now, it is plausible enryu is all that and he did everything as he was supposed to and is currently just chilling around waiting for bam but right now i just don't see it because the guy showed up and out of sheer anger killed a bunch of people who didn't know better and destroyed arlens land beyond reconstruction.

You want him to deliver this thorn directly into the hands of who? Baam is not coming for a thousand years.

You also said he killed all these people out of anger but he sure did not look angry. The survivors described it as beautiful. That does not sound like someone in a rage. You also seem to equate his OP with the thorn and even go so far as to say "without the thorn, which I can't stress enough he didn't seem to deliver, he is probably not quite as op as he was against the admin." However, there is absolutely nothing in the story or imagery to suggest this. Quite to the contrary, he is ranked #2 which is pretty OP. That thorn was meant for Baam and we can't even say if anyone, such as Zahard himself, can use it. Karaka even wanted to melt Baam down to gain access to the thorn. When we see Enryu in all his glory attacking, we do not see any evidence of him using the thorn.

There is no discussion of Enryu outside of the FOD. There is no indication he even climbed the tower at all. He came by way of some special door and just disappeared. The only suggestion that he is in the tower is the fact that Headon is said to be looking for him. For an admin who can go anywhere, this seems rather remarkable that in a thousand years he has been unable to find anything about Enryu. Personally, I think the power of Enryu is equivalently in the thorn and Enryu has left the building the same way he entered. That was his mission and it has been accomplished. However, if Enryu was to re-enter the tower, for whatever reason, I am certain Zahard would regret picking a fight with him and Zahard would be squashed like a bug.

I think that there is a very good reason to why he’s ranked number two right after Phantaminium.

To describe him simply. He’s a wizard. He does things that goes against all the rules we know in the tower and that’s exactly what makes him so interesting.
