I missed your entire list.

But I checked and I have every PM and entry now, including yours. Prince scores higher, numbers change, everything should be good now. I'll adjust the posts, but I'm going to do another checklist tomorrow, just in case.

Not surprised to see Crash Bandicoot on the list but pleasantly surprised to see Coco got as many points as him.

Also, I had a few Mario-universe characters in mind, but all of them were strictly the versions in the Paper Mario games (which I promise you’ll see if we ever do a Favorite Video Games category), but couldn’t decide who so I ended up not picking any of them.

Bowser is friggin’ hilarious in those games though, could’ve easily gotten a point or two from me.

I haven’t played Mass Effect, but I love the concept of Shepard, the way every player can basically have a unique version of them. And of course that it’s a completely gender-neutrally written badass.

Yeah, Shepard as an MC just works because he/she can be whatever you want them to be. But, while clever and great as game mechanic, it doesn't really leave a lasting impression as far as characterization goes though for me. Since your crewmates are every bit as important as you are to the story.

A shame, really. Garrus is great, as is likely your other ME nomination if I'm guessing it right.

My order for these lists were somewhat haphazard, admittedly. Stuff near the top I generally hold in higher regard... but it's just not that well-thought out tbh.
