Yes... but it can mean nothing also... we can never be sure when its about OP... much less when its about Oda-sensey himself...

Monsters like the blody snakes are even feared by Giants must be a huge obstacle in the New world. Also the log may itself be a problem(eg sky islands, underwater islands, we even saw space pirates).
Diseases,pirates and sea monsters are other possible obstacles and as Raysen_ht mentioned above why not spacetime distortion?

I dont know what eg means , i see it all the time but i never get whats the literal mean... the superficial idea i get of course!! Please put me out of my meseary... reveal me the secret of eg!!
Also... u dont have to be formal... im fine with just Raysen... dont really need the _ht thing

e.g. is fairly easy. you can find it in every good dictionary I think and for a portuguese speaking (considering you really are from brazil) its not even farfetched as it is latin.

It cant be the Yonkous, cause there are only 4 of them, but there are 5 routes to get to raftel...

I think the log pose doesnt work in the NW... I think that the islands move from one place to another! And thats why nobody can get to raftel...

On a more wild guess, i think the time in the NW is different from the time int he rest of the world. I say this, cuzz Oda, on one of the firsts SBS, said that he couldnt say how old shanks is now, but he could say that when he left Luffi he was 27 ... And that would be the same as saying he is 37, isnt it .... unless the time is passing differently for him!

Nah, Oda likes to mess with people. So he's 37.

And I believe the Log Pose works, just wit Raftel there's more needed.

I have to think about the Poneglyphs. Someone that doesn't understand history like Roger and his crew did, probably won't get to Raftel.

Also, there has to be something that WB is missing. Right now, the fact remains that WB is too connected to his crew. He listens only to his reason, and for 20 years, he has yet to find Raftel. I don't know if he wants to find it, but he's the closest.

Out of all the crews, Shanks and Luffy are the ones that seem to look for OP the most.

With Robin, the SHs have a HUGE advantage over ALL crews out there right now. NONE of them seem to respect history (maybe Law but still) like the SHs and most of the Peace Maine type pirates that follow Gol D. Robin reads the poneglyphs and with that, she can find the answer that no one in 20 years has found:

ic. that could be true. with Robin the sole survivor from Ohara, she's probably the only one who can decipher the ancient writings and derive the meanings hidden in them. so with on SHs side, probably they are the only group that can reach Raftel. that's also probably the reason why the other pirates even WB, who's considered the strongest now, can't even get the OP now. hmm..... make sense....

Yes That do make sence!! Its a good reason to explain why someone like WB didnt reach Raftel yet!!
But that, kind of crushes the general idea that, the One piece is, in fact, the true history, with all the secrets of the anciant kingdom and the void century...
I like that idea!!! I was allways against the treasure beeing the history!!

What if the One Piece is a huge weapon that can rule the world? That's enough to fear Whitebeard if something like that was used by Roger.

True there may be a WMD in Raftel. This partly has to do with an ancient civilization. From what I can gather from the OP story right now, the clan of D seems to have made it.

Maybe it was used just to explore. But the belief to conquer the world or set it free is usually up to each individual pirate. I doubt highly that the ships are important, but there's something else missing...

For the ships, I'm certain. There's more than just a ship that can destroy the world there in Raftel.

More than likely, the WG keeps this under wraps because the Clan of D did something so BAD that the world had to rise up against them. That's where I think the story is going.

Or it could be the other way around... the WG (they werent call that back than...) did something so bad, that the clan of D had to stand up to them... but in the end The WG defeated them... and erased all the evidence of whatever it was they did...

^ Most likely that way around. I think Pluton and Poseidon were weapons that the World Government built at the time and the clan of D was against it, knowing they could destroy the world.. And then, as you said, the clan was defeated by the WG and all the evidence was erased. That makes alot of sense to me.

We don't know that.. The weapons may not have been built by the WG.. We know that Pluton was built in W7, so maybe someone there built it for the WG, or the WG confisticated it (but not the blueprints) when it was built and used it for their own means.

There's also the possibility that the clan of D had in their possession the Poseidon to match the WG's Pluton and Pluton was more powerful or something like that, hence winning the war. At least I think that the void century is lost because the WG has hidden the evidence of something aweful they did (with the D's trying to stop them). I don't know, just trying to link things together here since the weapons are related to the poneglyphs as well.

WB is. Ace stated that it was his dream to make WB the pirate king. If WB didn't wnat to be the pirate king, why would Ace want him to be?

And why would Shanks be more likely then WB to get to OP?

Ace believes in WB. But until WB himself says that he is looking for OP, I'm to believe that he is mainly interested in traveling the world with his nakama. He's getting old, and with that, it seems more than likely he's settling for what IS instead of some island that is only in dreams. To me, it seems almost like a dying plea before the Old man dies a natural death.

Shanks is younger. But even in 10 years he has great fame but still no way to find OP. I'm to believe that in the next few years, he truly wants to find it. He told Luffy to be a great pirate. He gave up his left arm for the next generation. Does Shanks want to find it? Possibly. But I believe he's leaving that to Luffy if when he becomes a greater pirate than himself and by extension, Gol D.

I don't believe Shanks is interested in One Piece at all.

Hes seen it, being in Gol D Roger's crew and all that, been there done that.

talking about seeking one piece would require to know what one piece is.
else we're running in circles all over again ...
for example Luffy... is he looking for one piece? please correct me but I think his goal is the same as Rogers was, namely becoming Pirateking. that's what's Aces dream is for WB and what Shanks is aiming for imo and is not necessarily connected to one piece whatever it is.

Yes, i agree!! As Coby said at Water 7 "The one who conquers the NW will be the Pirate king!"... That only implies going to Raftel, and beeing the stronger one on the ocean!! Even if the OP is not found, that person would still be the pirate king!
As Luffi said when they got to red Line a few chapters ago... "Just one more time around and we will see it again... and thats when ill be the Pirate King"!!
