Does anyone else think that ace knew that sabo was alive and had met with him before he died?

I think so too. It wouldnt surprise me if white beard had connections with his rivals brother, dragon. Its possible that whitebeard told this to ace. But i dont think sabo and ace have met face to face.

How do you think Sabo knew aces move? He said something like I'm going to use your move Ace. Ace found the mera mera no mi at sea which was after the days he fought with luffy and sabo.

Also is there a thread where the relative strengths of the vice admirals are discussed/ theorized? It's something that really confuses me.

Nearly everyone in the OP world knows Fire Fist Ace and his signature move; Fire Fist(Hiken).

Oh true I just looked back at a translated version. When I read the raw, I read it as flame pillar which was a move that ace had used before. I'm still learning :/ sorry about that.

I noticed while rereading the series that Luffys' and Laws' wanted posters are really similar. It's quite funny, both Ussop and Bepo are in the same position. I thought it was quite interesting

I'm wondering the same thing, being that most Whitebeard's former terrortories have taken over now. Particularly Fishman Island by Big Mam. It's possible that Marco and crew will aid the Strawhats in the next story arc.

Yeah i think so to.
And i think luffy may talk alot to the comanders like marco or izo or vista since they really helped luffy in the war.
I wish oda would tell us what thwy are doing

But how would that be possible? In chapter 69, Yosaku mentions the Three Great Powers, which makes for a whole bunch of characters. I guess without Ace a lot of the story would be much shorter, but even so it seems hard to picture the series ending in 5 years.

He didn’t plan it to be 5 years. He thought he will need 5 years to tell the story he had planned. The three powers, what one piece is, the straw hats, the war on marineford and Ace’s death are all things he planned 1 year before he even started the Manga. The tale grew in the telling is a famous quote from Tolkien who thought that LOTR would be much shorter than it was at the end. Happened to George R.R. Martin who thought before he started to write, that book 1 will end where book 3 actually ended. Hell happens to a lot of writers, especially adventure writers who create worlds. Oda also said on Jump festa that a certain person will appear. 1 year later he apologized that the person didn’t appear and said that he will appear that year. Another time he said that a crew member will die and that happened like 3 years later. Oda was never good with time because he need way longer to tell his story than he thinks he needs.

Great find. The guy with glasses also has a slightly resemblance to one of Shanks crewmates.

You can easily spot Pekoms and Tamago as #2, and Hawkins as #5.

I can think of #1 and #7 as Shiliew (without his hat) and Avalo Pizarro. #4 could be either Lucci or Laffite. #3 looks like CP9 costume, but I have no idea.

It's possible . Samurai island (Wano) would be Zoro dream island full of swordsman and equipment . Water 7 would be consider Franky dream island also . I'm pretty sure every Straw Hat position in the crew has a island that fit them personality wise . If The SH pirates go to a sharpshooter island I hope it helps Usopp improve or gain even better weapons (like a pistol)
