Oda has not been as much breaks as he did though. After the time-skip he has slowed down a bit, in FI he took like two? And in the current arc also two, I think? Remember the war and post-war.

Oda is by far the Jump's author who takes the most breaks. This year is not particularly low nor high compare to previous ones.

One piece breaks never really bothered me and he doesnt take that many considering how many weeks there are in a year and through how many of those he's working. And the breaks he's taking currently are because of the new OP film. He kinda in a way is a workaholic, i'd say all the top three authors are otherwise they wouldn't be as successful as they are.

Sure girls in OP wear revealing clothes but in the anime, probably thanks to the shitty skill of people responsible for animations and not intentionally but who knows, they often manage to up it to a totally ridiculous level (sometimes it looks like somebody just forgot to draw nipples for them XD). This however, must be the first time that a character in the anime noticed it:

Thinking about it, mangaka often seem to forget the bottom half of the characters, Oda might be the king of those. haha Only having a nice chest, those characters would all be a a laughting stock for real weight lifters. Don't disappoint me Zoro and Sanji!

^ That's not a manga only thing, it is a trick you can probably find in every book about drawing comics. No need for any back story, by exaggerating the upper body of a character you make readers perceive him as a strong person.

Oda's room is as cartoony as anything. I do think toys give him a lot of inspiration as well. Music idols, old fairy tales, previous OP volumes are how he sets everything in place.
