Really surprised that Blackbeard is "so unpopular", he's the main villain and yet he's so far behind the likes of Enel and Rob Lucci. I'm also surprised over the fact that barrier man whose name I can't even remember and Empress Hancock, is more popular than Brooke, Franky, Robin and Ussop.

The only mistake Oda made with this arc was not slowly killing off Flamingo's men instead of having everyone fight at once. I'm tired of war type battles. People shouldn't think Flamingo's men are weak. He has Pica, Vergo, Lao G, Trebol and Diamante. These guys are tough.

Did we really find out that Trebol is weak to fire? I know he can explosive but I didn't know about that. Trebol is just way way stronger than Usopp to be honest. I would love to see Usopp have a fight like that and end up losing but achieve his goal intentionally (not unintentionally). By that I meant, I want to see what happen and not off panel. The problem had become there aren't enough DD's henchman to go around. I don't think Oda want to waste Trebol on Usopp. Though I am more annoy that Trebol isn't really doing anything as of late.

To many people, the appearance of Sabo and Fujitora destroyed any tension in the arc. Because they think if either of them acted, Doflamingo can be put down rather easily.

Usopp always fought against opponents that overpowered him in every aspect, except one : Intelligence and determination
Chew was stronger than Usopp no matter how how you put it, yet he won using his head and tricks, and this became the norm afterward

Against the Mr 4/Miss Merry Christmas, he won using his head and determination, against Perona he won using his head and determination too

So Trebol being strong isn't an excuse as long as he does have a clear weakness that can be used by Usopp, and I don't think Trebol can remain unscathed while literally explosing as long as he's touching fire

I beg to differ, as long as these guys aren't Logia, they aren't a tier above Usopp, as I said, his qualities lie within his intellect, it was never about physical capabilities or DF power (obviously, it doesn't mean he can beat people like WB or even Luffy/Zoro for that matter), also all of these characters didn't show anything worth it and they seem to rely heavily on Devil Fruits anyway

Trebol is a Logia I think, and the mucus he produces is flammable, hence his body itself is flammable and will explode upon contact with fire, so that's a weakness, just like Croco's body becomes tangible if he's soaked in water

Why? Blackbeard is the reason why one of the most popular characters in the manga is dead, and he's the reason why the most popular character in the manga faced pain. He also seems to be far more despicable as well, and the character design.

Hancock is probably popular because all the boys wanna fap to her, and because of her behavior around Luffy. Sucks that Brook and Usopp are behind those two though, they're usually more fun to watch.

Yea, blackbeard has good strategies, he is cunning but get his job done. A good pirate, a criminal and i want to strangle him to death.

Plus, his character design is barbaric, if BB is as cool as dragom or crocodile, i guess he will not be so down below.

I am also surprised Barto is in the top 10. But i guess it is because the fans can relate too much with the character.

Sometimes i wonder if Oda sees me as a fan that way.. Kinda make me sad and excited at the same time lol
