One Piece ~Adventure of Nevlandia~ special takes place on "Devil Fruit blocking" island

The official website for the One Piece franchise announced on Monday that One Piece will get a TV anime special on December 19 titled One Piece ~Adventure of Nevlandia~. The special will be the anime's first winter special.

The special with a completely original story will take place on a "Devil Fruit blocking" fog island in the New World that keeps Devil Fruit users from being able to use their powers. The crew will also again meet and have a rematch with the Foxy Pirates from the Davy Back Fight arc. Foxy now has three new subordinates: Dōjack, Kanshō, and Kōmei, the latter of whom is a member of a family of genius tacticians.

Kōmei devises a plan where Zoro and Sanji take part in an eating contest, and the two eat a strange "good-for-nothing-only" mushroom that turns them into good-for-nothing men. The two are then locked in a jail cell. When the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates chase after their imprisoned crew, they land on the island of Nevlandia, which features a mysterious fog made from sea water, and it has the same effects as seastone. The Straw Hat Pirates' arrival on Nevlandia is also a part of Kōmei's plan.

Him being Greg, provides tons of insight into chapters, including details about names, places and other things we could've missed. If you click into the articles, there's a button on the top right corner to read in english. He does weekly manga and anime reviews.

Yummy! Yummy! This is so nice and creative. I rarely see cake shops bake cakes with anime/manga theme. Those like Mickey Mouse, for example, are the most common ones. But this cake is pretty good. I wanna eat it and see how it tastes like.

About this situation, if Mangapanda seems to be hit directly, I don't think it would be a disaster, given that other groups have their own sources. So at worst the chapter could come out later, even if it means it will come on Monday(which is the absolute worst case scenario).
For me it doesn't change much since I don't read mangapanda's version anyway.I always wait to read Mangastream's version, and it's entirely possible that they have a different source and don't use mangapanda's raws.

Seriously, we don't know where these Manga Editors get their raws from, and if anything would happen if the company starts to pursue further. Few year back, we had the copyright issue and many manga sites had to delete the manga in their websites, and some even had to close down their sites. It was quite a disaster at that time where we couldn't get access to many manga.

Just hope that it won't go to such an extent. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Companies have the right to do so anyway. But it doesn't stop people from copying again. It probably may stop people from doing it for a while, but they will still come back again. Like you said, there are a lot more people responsible for providing the raws on the internet. It would be hard to trace every single one of them. In fact raws-selling has already been traded like a form of business. Just like gaming where accounts are being sold for profits.

The people who got arrested are one Japanese delivery man,who delivers the magazine to the bookstore. He apparently leaked the issue to two Chinese men, who then uploaded it to mangapanda, an English site.That's 3 in total. The two chinese men don't officially work for mangapanda imo, they just uploaded it to the site. It just means that if in the past this source was used, it's no longer going to be the case. By no means does it mean that mangapanda is going down. Unless Japan decides to sue MP, which as of now isn't the case.They're only suing the 3 people responsible for the leak, and they haven't been found guilty yet.
So all this meltdown if we can call it that is unjustified. MP is still up, and from what I can tell there are various sources for the magazine where the scans come from. Japan has been fighting piracy for years, and until this day they haven't managed to stop it alltogether, and it's pretty much impossible. Because the leaks can and often come from Japan itself, rather than it being only the Chinese. I hear that some people who work for publishers etc can leak those scans.So if we have something like a delivery man who can leak the magazine early, or someone who works for a publisher etc, I don't see piracy ending so soon. Even if they end up suing all these people, there will always be a loophole.
It could still become harder to find the scans early, so maybe the chapter will come out later than usual, but it could still leak regardless.Maybe those guys that were arrested were just noobs, and that was a one time thing only. Let's not jump to conclusions just yet.
