Zoro’s cut on kaido looks crazy
It did looked big in the manga first, but it disappeared 🤷‍♂️

Morj pointed out a plot hole in the manga

The government offers 5 billion for the Ope Ope no Mi

Then why the hell is Law's bounty less than 5 billion? It should read "Wanted 5 billion ONLY ALIVE"

The Sanji v Queen finale was well animated. I'm glad these final fights have been getting good treatment. The end of the fight in particular was really dope and they avoided adding a bunch of glowing aura's which I really appreciated. Hopefully the rest of the fights get this level of treatment.

Is it just me or Zoro vs. King looked nothing like One Piece in anime? Too much of the lights, flashes, aura, too little of actual fight. And sheer scale of the fight was extremely exaggerated. At the end when King was firing flame dragons... Man, it was just to much, in the manga he just fired one dragon, in the anime the scale of the attack was bigger than Kaido's.

And what's worrying is that people on the YouTube or Twitter generally like it. For me it's like total changing of the style, like for example Mob Psycho suddenly being animated in Miyazaki style - it just doesn't add up.

hm? The OP anime has been visual diarrhea for decades. Haven't watched the fight but it sounds like nothing has changed. I still remember the internet going crazy over the zoro vs killer fight looking amazing and being so damn confused over the internet fawning over something so visually disgusting,

If you didn't like that fight then Zoro vs. King would be the same since they reused some of the animation pattern (finishing move mostly).

But as of animation itself... I don't know. In my opinion they changed a lot with Wano and really moved forward, I rate the quality of the animation itself high, yet in some cases this animation just doesn't fit One Piece, just like with Zoro fight.

I think that THIS scene looks amazing and really befitting One Piece

Or this one as well

Sanji vs Queen was really good.

This one also looks great and got such a good idea

There is a lot of quality and passion in One Piece anime lately, but sometimes they're going to much with the way similar to Dragon Ball. It looks less One Piece. Like in this meme:

Setting aside how awful the DBZ auras are in OP anime, the main problem with it and just anime in general is the lack of fluidity in animation. There's so many cuts every moment that it shouldn't even count as animation, it's just a bunch of frames which pretend to be animated via noise. Most of anime just tries to trick people into thinking animation is going on when in reality it's just quick cuts and noise. With most OP anime fights you can't even tell where characters are physically standing even though oda actually goes through a lot of trouble to keep character location consistent and precise through fights. Since it's generally important to the plot.

Was also talking about when the next cover story may happen, and it was figured it may start around October, around Chapter 1100. May give enough space after the Germa story finishing and enough time to fulfill some more reader requests before inevitably starting a Wano cover story, possibly with Yamato? in light of Whole Cake getting two cover story follow-ups. So yeah, looking forward to that.

As for the latest chapter, seeing as how Vivi’s ancestor’s seem to be connected to the Will of D. somehow, then maybe that would give Vivi more justification in journeying with Luffy again, so as to better find out her ancestry and fulfill Luffy’s Will of D. destiny.

Hopefully Oda starts the Yamato Wano covers so we can get back to Yamato joining. Also here is another thing.

Does it really discredit Sanji to be an artificial human. Wouldn't it technically be no different than Kaido and Yamato being Ogre's. Or King being Lunarian. Or Big Mom being a Giant. No one's discrediting them based off of those, although Big Mom is being treated like a gag character.

On the Big Mom part, Oda seems to be the type to have her survive the Volcano to showcase how monstrously strong she really is.

You notice the interesting thing?
There are only 4. No Jack. And Jinbe fought Who's-Who.
So my guess number 4 will be Yamato. As we have the monster trio effect.

Jack and Who's Who had already been defeated when this was released

The Throne War as three big conflicts:

Fight for Laugh Tale: pirates vs. pirates: battle royale between emperors with scheming by Akainu and/or Imu to destabilize the crews and increase the likelihood of the emperors weakening each other enough to be taken out after the conflict (the "Marineford 2.0 Oda mentioned). Uranos is featured here.

Fight after the One Piece is claimed: marines vs. marines/WG: SWORD strikes, Marines discover Imu and rebel against the CD's, supporting the growing number of nations that are declaring independence. Pluton is featured here.

Fight for The Dawn: coalition of pirates, marines, and revolutionaries against Imu and the armies of the Void Century, and whatever final ace in the enemies of the D had to keep power all this time. Poseidon is featured here.

By the way since I just saw the above post, it just occured to me, the devil fruit Toki has...

It is quite possible if she is from the void century that people of the void used the ability to send themselves forward to Luffy's time and not just Toki alone.

Now to what I was originally going to post.
I am still just randomly posting that the next set of straw hats will be:
1)Yamato will join - Links to Wano and Kado. Eventhough Zoro comes from Wano, he is technically East Blue linked. Plus look at this,
Nami orphaned ends up in East Blue, life linked to Arlong, Jinbe ends up joining.
Zoro orphaned East Blue, life apparently linked to Wano may not be born in Wano,
Yamato living life in Wano. Technically, Yamato was possibly not born in Wano so even if Zoro was born in Wano, Yamato was not.
2)Marco - Him claiming to like the Strawhats. Him claiming he was there to protect Whitebeard's home, and that condition basically may disappear with the Weevil protecting there. Thus creating the opportunity for Marco. The death and rebirth of the Phoenix. With Weevil having some type of legitimacy to Whiteboard, Marco's duty of protecting Whitebeard ends. And he is "reborn" to fulfill Ace's will of protecting Luffy. Ace who was going to be made Pirate King by Whitebeard. And Marco's introduction about the King. And well if he is to protect the King, the story is designed for Luffy to be King. And where else is that shown? When Sabo attacks Imu, King of the World with Ace's ability. Similar to Ace going after Whitebeard. Mixed with Kizaru attacking Whitebeard and Marco stepping in, which is Marco's fighter intro. Kizaru being light, Imu shown as dark figure even if just silhouette stuff. Current situation for Marco is Kizaru's arrival to egghead. Which is where Bakkin is trying to take Marco to. We have the intro of Marco before Marco the fighter, and Marco rejecting to join Shanks. Then we have Wano, where Kizaru had wanted to go but didn't, and Shanks asking for Marco to join again, rejected. Then you have Marco's speech of taking care of old era pirates, which Luffy is not. A lot of things, seem to point to Marco joining, and not just as a Grand Fleet member. In fact the whole Marco has more reason for joining Luffy than originally believed. Another cluing in, well Marco has the Whitebeard mark. Jinbe has the Sun Pirates mark, a mark of another crew but still has
3)Hancock well now that we know the Gorosei are fighters, well she has a distinction, similar to Kuma of being enslaved by the Celestial Dragons. Hers less known than his. And that there is the distinction. Kuma is Revolutionary army which is not known to the general public. But the Celestials know he is a slave. Hancock linked to Amazon Lily known to the public, her being a Celestial slave not known. Kuma links to Dragon not known, Hancock links to Luffy not known. Kuma linked to Dragon, while Hancock links to Luffy. Kuma unknown being a revolutionary, his base of operations destroyed by Blackbeard and/or CP-0, forced to relocated with ex-Impel Down inmate and ally. Hancock known island attacked by Marines and Blackbeard, is now seeking out Luffy. Her ally, ex-impel down inmate. Burgess was the lone entity on Baltigo linked Blackbeard to Baltigo and led to its destruction or discovery, Rayleigh was the sole person that came to save Amazon Lily.
Kuma mindless, Hancock mindless when it comes to Luffy. Basically though Hancock would have a reason to battle one of the Celestial Dragons for that reason. May have been hinted in the film too, where she is with Law and disregards him to get revenge for Luffy. Hancock may battle the Law/Justice Gorosei.

I am definitely feel like these 3 will join. The whole idea that Vivi will join, technically that does not seem to be the case to me. I feel like Vivi would be more along the lines of Revolutionary Army. Her arc was about a Revolution in Alabasta. My guess is she ends up making the Koza guy the King of Alabasta. And she joins Dragon. Where Robin briefly joined Dragon but is Luffy's crewmate. Vivi briefly joins Luffy but works under Dragon. Plus she was introduced as a special agent. Her fighting style is also kind of boring. Her joining with a Devil Fruit would be cool, she would fit the whole Snow-Snow fruit thing I want for Nami. Maybe if she joins Luffy, Oda makes her the get a Devil Fruit person. Leading to her arc was where we got introduced to Smoke, Sand and Fire Logia's. Although technically smoke was Logue Town. But I still think Revolutionary army. And Alabasta will likely be a target. Its link to the Celestial Dragons has more meaning to Dragon than Luffy. But then if she gets a Logia that changes everything, and she would have reason to battle the Gorosei for Cobra death. Alabasta probably secretly have Devil Fruits since they were part of the Celestial Dragons. Still strange to me in a series about Devil Fruits that the Straw hats have not come across any all series.

Who the presumed 4th addition is well that is uncertain. Bonney is on egghead, she seems like she could possibly end up a Strawhat and she has some ties to be targeted by the World Government. But we already have Sanji as a Prince. But it may be a match. Sanji the Prince that likes to cook and Bonney the Princess that likes to eat. I mean technically all Oda's connections or joinings do not have to be like that. Bonney does an her temporary aging kind of matches the Gorosei immortal stuff. Maybe she'll become a captive and her and Vegapunk bringing them back to their youth. Still it definitely seems like Yamato (I know I did not expand on that), Marco and Hancock are definitely the next members. The issue just seems that outside of Yamato, difficult to make battles for Hancock and Marco due to their overkill abilities. How do you make a battle for a main character who is basically a one hit kill. Yet at the same time Hancock and Marco seem very similar. One is regeneration and the other instant kill. Seems like they match being a link to Luffy, as they would be a link to each other but don't link to each other and rather link to Luffy.

That would make 14 Strawhats, including Luffy. Well there are 9 Holy knights, 5 Gorosei and Imu. So possibly we will get 4 more new Strawhats.

Back to my devil fruit thing. Technically Oda did say that he would give Nami Enel's devil fruit. Which is him say he would make Nami a Logia if she ate a Devil Fruit.
