Chapter 1179, Vinsmoke Franky, or turning into Queen exactly. Talking about turning Usopp and Brook into cyborgs. That would be interesting for both of them though. That would make usopp a bit more useful. I guess it would also make Brook a lighter version of Zoro and Sanji mixed.
Speaking of cyborgs, this whole thing about Blackbeard being a Buccaneer and eating two devil fruits, Luffy being Nika and how it affects Emeth and Zunisha gives me the feeling somehow Kuma is going to be taking action somehow. He is infact able to remove pain and he is in fact able to teleport people.

Of course with the Holy Knights being Celestial Dragons it is possible Oda also set up the notion of no way to transport the giiant kids as a means as a means of the Celestial Dragons controlling Kuma again and transporting the kids away. A reverse of God Valley.
The Strawhats get miraculously saved frequently so this can go either way. Them getting saved is too much like Sabaody. If Kuma has a role it all depends on how Oda has Linderburgh and possibly Vegapunk's repairs on Kuma. Kuma would also be a means of plundering and getting food to the Celestial Dragons, solving their food problem. Completely destroying Kuma's actual character but reviving the introduced version label of him. Would be a victory against the buccaneers and revenge on the Revolutionary army. It is definitely a way to lead into the Strawhats attacking the Holy Land at the request of Bonney. Actions fitting with Kuma having rescued them when he did have control over his free will still technically because he made the decision to have it programmed. Maybe it is still programmed.

Of course there is a lot of other stuff here, will just mention one. Loki child of Harald. Harald's wishes for the giants. Big Mom and Elbaph and how they said she could be a Fleet Admiral. The connection to Loki. It would be something if Loki ended up leading the Marines a new Marines in a fulfilling of Harald's wishes. Farfetched. It there seems limited place for him in the story. But it has a match to Loki being considered evil killing Harald but not truly. The Marines the good guys but not truly.

This came to my mind reading something about marines uproar or old marines. But that could also be maybe Oda is including Zephyr in the real story. I guess Loki leading a new marines would be a bit ridiculous but it would become like Harald's change.

But yeah a cyborg made brook or cyborg usopp would be great. Because unless a devil fruit, Usopp is pretty much a weakling.

Also hoping for some Lunarian Sanji. It doesn't look like it because Sora's appearance but Oda's comment of wonder if Sanji is a devil fruit. Well a Human Human fruit has
A golden buddha - Sanji has yellow hair
An animal though the animal is not the transformation and in a human it is enlightened - Sanji's father is named after an animal, Garuda. Sanji had a kind of enlightening in Wano with the warrior of Science thing
An awakened fruit white haired - Sanji awakened Germa abilities at this time too which affected his flames. King has an ability to create fire and ridiculous defenses.
Kind of routes Oda can possibly go that MADS came across a Lunarian(s) before King. Sora drug explains the guys but not reiju. So I guess that won't happen. Plus King if more of a Zoro opponent. But Sanji did also participate in fighting King. Sanji seems to get abilities similar to his previous opponents.

1 of the core details is the fact that VP revealed so much information to the world that people will start to search for Poneglyphs to obtain power for themselves.

Blackbeard has position himself really uniquely.

He says people are all looking for the Poneglyphs to find the One Piece, but he also mentions the fact that the WG are starving due to the RA.

Blackbeard could very possibly become the first Emperor to form an alliance with the WG. Reason being is he wants to legitimise Beehive Island as a WG affiliated country in the first place.
For Blackbeard/Oda to mention this in the story, it'd make no sense for Oda to mention such an outrageous plot development if it didn't happen.

Context: The WG are starving, and the holy land is being destroyed... they need help, they need a source of power to overcome this problem and additionally to stop the heightened age of Piracy that is arguably worse now since VP's speech.
And Blackbeard did suggest they're on their way to do something in Marijoa.

Reason how this could happen is this. The WG are already scared that so many people are now going to go after the One Piece. Blackbeard has a lot of pieces that could get him the One Piece, so he has bargaining power:

• Blackbeard has multiple Poneglyph.
• He has 3-eyed tribe girl, Pudding... who has the power to interpret the Poneglyphs if her eyes awaken which it probably will.
• Also has Caribou... who knows about Poseidon & Wano hiding Pluton.
• A defeated Garp (a lot more symbolic that I imagined it could be).
• Also, Catarina Devon copied Saturn.

Blackbeard can offer to defeat the RA as part of the price to become a king of a WG recognised nation... not only defeating the RA, but trading Garp (ironic since he traded Ace to be Shichibukai) whom Imu probably loathes all the more now.
He can also promise to quit going after the One Piece since he more than any other crew besides Luffy can effectively find it. He has multiple Poneglyphs, and Pudding (3 eyed tribe) who can read Poneglyphs once her eyes awaken... they'd be insane not to take this deal. This is surely a good compromise.

It would fix their immediate issue with power and make the WG an even more powerful organisation.
This would buy them time to focus on York acquiring the knowledge to use the Motherflame by which point, they can always betray Blackbeard after.

On top of that, Blackbeard having Caribou also means he has knowledge about Poseidon, and also knowledge about Pluton being in Wano. He could threaten to expose this information to the world if they don't make him a king of a country allied with the WG.

Not to forget either, Catarina Devon copied Saturn's identity, so she could easily make things even worse in Marijoa. She can infiltrate easily and acquire even more intelligence for Blackbeard.

If Blackbeard doesn't care that much about the One Piece, and only went after it for ambitious purposes. To become a king of a nation might be good enough for him.

He could equally do this and also secretly still go after the One Piece which would be more fitting of Blackbeard. If this deal came to be, Devon being able to transform into Saturn means she can easily acquire even more information from Marijoa.

I can’t see the Gorosei falling for Blackbeard pretending to be their ally again. His crew is also full of a bunch of people the WG tried to erase from history and two former high ranking WG members who turned traitor. They also know about his heritage, which is another strike against him.


And Catarina being able to turn into Saturn is not as useful now that Saturn is dead.

The YouTube algorithm did it again and showed me a clip of shanks telling wb about the drink he brought to their meeting being from his hometown. But... Shanks doesn't have a hometown. I wonder if there's some special significance to the sake.

Yeah, they were briefly mentioned when Kalgara's daughter was about to sacrificed. They just mentioned their name and said they hoped the blood made them happy or something along those lines.

Given what was said by the Shandians, I imagine time warped their understanding of them and they are viewed as standard gods of creation now rather than Nika as we know them.

Also, reading through the finale of that flashback, Norland and Kalgara's situation reminds me of the Harley's "They will never meet again" line. And the Third World's "They will surely meet" kinda comes true when Luffy rings the bell so that both their decendents hear it in the modern day. Even though its not directly related, it's still a fun little microcosm of the overall history according to the Harley.

Ah, thanks. I'd agree with that, time and their distance from earth would have warped their understanding of history and religion. The series seems to operate as a series of repeating patterns across arcs and history so it wouldn't be too strange if skypeia was a retelling of one of the ancient conflicts. Enel was the first time we saw a character take the position of god. Enel was insane but it wouldn't be too strange if his delusions were fueled by a misunderstanding of history.

Because they weren't revealed just yet. Some people think it's Shirahoshi but since she have very specific way of speaking to people I think it could be someone else.

Observation Haki feats are all over the place, but it shouldn't be just that in this case. Mainly due to the fact that Luffy himself was questioning how he knew it was Chopper specifically. On the flipside, Sanji and Loki also sensed that something fell, but couldn't tell it was Chopper.

Nah this was already explained before. Chopper’s fall haki is apparently super recognizable because Zoans leak “panic aura” whenever they fall from crazy heights. Giants are naturally good at sensing it.
Loki knew instantly because reindeer-type Zoans supposedly give off a specific frequency, Oda mentioned something like that in an SBS.
Sanji felt it too but couldn’t tell it was Chopper specifically since his Observation Haki wasn’t focused enough at the time.
Luffy questioning it is probably setup for the next haki evolution where haki can actually remember who passed through an area.
