Watching Elbaf Anime I have just realized that the Eggheed Gear 5 picture of Luffy in the newspaper has been altered by Vivi to let Luffy know she is hiding at World Economic News Paper. I totally ignored this when reading manga LOL. That probably means they will all gather at Morgans place before the final war.

Interestingly, Oda didn’t even have Stussy contact Morgans and have that lead into Luffy discovering where Vivi was. That might have been the main reason Oda didn’t have Stussy sail with them.

Well, Robin will deffinetly ask about "the mark" once things will calm down. Since entier East Blue cast + Chopper got conventionally kidnapped by Road she didn't have a chance to tell THEM about that and had to ask "the newbies" that came after her.

So, I'm watching Thriller Bark arc right now. Though I wish I could skip it because Absalom, Moria and the doctor are pissing me off but it's important arc. I'll keep watching. During this rewatch I decided to only skip fillers I already seen. Anyway, after all this time I forgot that Morias zombies were mimicing fighting style of owners of shadows that were put into them which lead to funny implications. First Lola, her zombie makes her look like she turned wanting to become a bride into her whole personality. Her fighting style is interesting though, not super flashy but at least effective. Those "kisses" she tried to give Absalom were really deathly. Second: the absolute audacity of Moria. It's pure disrespect toward Sanji to put his shadow into weird zombie penguin with short legs and wobbly body. This shadow would be put into waaaay better use if Moria would put it into actual human zombie. And third: seeing newly created zombie keeping traits of their shadows owners and being utterly confused because of it was actually hilarious. Beside that I totally forgot that Absalom was filthy animal. He basicaly assaulted Nami and Robin, Nami even more because he caught her during bath and had his way with her. So when he was spying on Blackbeard well, he had it coming for a loooong time and it was well deserved. Also Oars, I wonder where he was from. He was ancient giant but he (just like Junior) looked rather "beastly" while both Loki and his father were completly normal exept for their height and horns. They were just diffrent "breed" probably. Btw, I wonder when Lolas obsession with marriage started. Before or after Loki? For someone who want to be bride so much she based her fighting style on it it's quite weird that she refused Loki when (apparently) he wanted to marry her. I mean I kinda get it, he's super tall even for a giant and his "bad guy" persona makes him look terrifying. BUT if you overlook his height and menacing aura he's actually quite handsome. I don't know how this would work for them but guess One Piece world just have its own laws. It has to because I refuse to believe that Linlin was born from normal sized human parents, Neptuns human sized wife haven't die trying to deliver her huge children and Aces mom just kept him from being born for over a year with sheer will power. OP world simply MUST be magical in some way if such things happen.

At that point Sanji was basically a no name nobody as far as anyone knew. Moriah severely underestimated the Strawhats, but he also just didn’t have a lot of strong corpses on standby.

Less “basically” and more just “he outright assaulted her”.

Well, kinda but Moria should work on his info web. Some random weakling wouldn't even think about doing anything in Enies Lobby and that's kind of treatment Moria gave Sanji. At least he put some respect upon Zoro by giving his shadow to actual human.

Also yeah, Absalom totally assaulted Nami. I just wanted to soften it a little for my own sake. I forgot how pissed I was after seeing it first time and now I'm pissed all over again.

A bunch of random weaklings went and did something at Enies Lobby Franky’s gang and the non-CP9 shipwrights went there.

And at the time Thriller Bark Sanji had his Duvall wanted poster so Moriah might not have even realized who he was.

Ah yes, Duvall. Poor guy, that was almost IMPOSSIBLE coincidence.
Good thing Sanji fixed him, though it still didn't fixed his "rizz" like kids say those days. 🤣

As mentioned, at that point, Sanji had just gotten his first bounty. The point is that Moriah was working off of old information but, despite that, Sanji's Zombie still ended up being comparable to a General Zombie despite not having a good body.

It's actually a pretty important trait as him not being well informed the reason Kuma came to visit in the first place, to update him on the general going ons of the world.

Yeah, sometime I forget how isolated was Florian Triangle. Only place more isolated than it was probably Wano............ and mayby Elbaf since they can't really read newspapers because they are too small for the giants. If Shanks didn't told Dorry and Brogy that Luffy is on his way to Elbaf they wouldn't know which by extend means Strawhats would have to scramble to escape or mayby even they wouldn't make it. Well they wouldn't find this into in newspaper but fact that Elbaf and probably other islands where giants live dosen't have good access to informations dosen't help. Too bad that Morgans dosen't print huge newspapers accessible for giants, they are kinda minority of the world but it's always more money to get and more eyes to see and spread his BIG NEWS.

I wouldn’t even call it old information. Enies Lobby was like a week before Thriller Bark at most, and the WG heavily censored what happened.

Moriah was working off very fresh and very inaccurate information.

Actually, Thriller Bark reminded me of something that will DEFFINETLY happen here in Elbaf if things will go that way for certain Knight. So, Brook said that Moria can't control shadows of people that are as strong or stronger than him. Well obviously, why someone stronger than Moria would listen to him just because he took his shadow using some dirty trick? Anyway, what if Killinghams fruit work in similar way and he can't control dream monsters made of really strong fears? Like you know, he accidently summoned monster from his own fear and depending on how much terrified he is of it he may completly lose control pretty soon. Which in turn will end up catastrophically wrong not just for Killingham himself but every Knight and mayby even Imu.

Oh and there's one more thing. What if Imu is able to control Gunko in such specific way because he locked/whipped out her memory? After all people who don't remember who they are and also don't remember their past are very easy to manipulate. So, I started to wonder if Imu could completly lose her if only she regain her true identity. Seem possible because Imu looked pretty paniced when he realised she's getting her memories back.

Do we still think Mosa is Shirahoshi or we consider other options after newest anime episode? I didn't watched obviously because I want to catch up on rewatching but does that episode change opinion on who Mosa might be?

I don't think Imu can wipe or read memories because he didn't know Saturn secretly transported Emeth out of Mariejoa to be studied.
He even asked if Gunko remembered something, so it indicates he can't tell what she is thinking.
Imu can only control people physically, but he can't manipulate thoughts by the looks of things.
If Imu could read minds, he'd have known that Loki was the one who killed Harald as well.
He just communicates telephatically, and can control the body via instructions, but nothing beyond that by the looks of things.

If he could read minds too.. he'd simply have to take over Roger's body while he was alive in order to find out where the One Piece was, and the problem of One Piece would have been solved.

Well I didn't meant that he could read mind. I was wondering if Imu during process of manipulating personality of his subjects by digging out their darkest desires he could also manipulate their memory. You know, to make them even more obedient and loyal. Also, Haralds and Gunko/Shuris case is bit special because they were actively fighting back against Imus control so I think he couldn't "sit in their head" and learn what's going on. I think there's a reason for Imus panic when he realised Shuri is remembering her past. We just don't know it yet.

I've been wondering since Saturn's little secrets "what is the extent of Imu's mind reading" because it seems like it's solely for dramatic purpose and not logical story consistency. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is noticeable to my obsessed-with-details-of-magic-systems brain. It seems like Imu can only read surface level thoughts, like when Harald was refusing an order and it's like he was 'pinged' to the insubordination. Anybody who isn't sufficiently on-board with Imu's fascist agenda gets The Ping it seems but other than that, it doesn't seem like Imu can just read a person's thoughts/history like a book otherwise he'd have likely hunted down Brook ages ago

Also, cute dog. It won't dissuade my antagonism to you but it will give me a brief pause every time xD

I think he can suppress memories to a degree. He made a comment about Gunko regaining her memories.

And I think Harald was at a range point of Imus power where he was dropping in and out of control. Imu had at least the awareness to give him commands but maybe not the total remote viewing capabilities that he has of someone in range, or with a stronger pact.

Oh THAT, this is what I actually meant. Suppress memories, not erease or wipe them out. I was wondering if Imu can do that. Suppress someone memories to make them easier to manipulate.

Thanks, I totally forgot about existance of word "suppress".

That would be a great theory if Saturn, one of the people with the highest level of pacts didn’t hide Emeth from Imu for years.

I doubt Imu is looking through all his subordinates all the time. We can see with domi Reversi he is able to wipe someone's personality and overwrite their will to a degree, it's struggles with a strong will like rocks.

Gunko probably has something similar happening to her. That's my point here.

We don't know what level of pact Saturn had back then
