Ground Rules for the Power Level Discussion Thread

As always, please follow the guidelines set by the Forum Rules that apply across the board.

It's important that discussions from a current chapter are spoiler tagged until 24h have passed from an english release.

• For the sake of constructive discussion, where and when possible please quote/ source any information you provide. Particularly when it comes to conversations carried over from other threads.
• Avoid passive agressive posts, sly remarks or baiting/trolling. You can certainly have fun or disagree without it being at someone's expense.
• Only use anime examples that are canon and as means to provide clarity to pages in the manga. Any other anime material is otherwise non-canon and should only be referenced if it can be proved that the mangaka had approved it.
• We will strive to avoid repetitive discussions and any extensive battle topics will be guided to the Davy Back fight to existing threads or new ones can be made there.

As of now these topics are shelved due to repetitiveness or until the manga can present us with material to further discussions:

This is the only warning there'll be regarding these ground rules, anything no adhering will be removed. So please just check your posts before posting them.

Actually Sanji has power and endurance. He shows that a lot even pre-timeskip. Though main issue is Logia intangiblity as he be tricky, but since Sanji is smart fighter, he would figure it out given time to study his opponent just like he figure Bon Clay's DF in same arc.

Doesn't make sense there especially water is everywhere. He won't have qualms using it and didn't he use knifes to defeat opponent who uses noodles to fight with? Idk why Sanji will hold back as he use whatever it takes to beat an enemy.

Sanji is smarter than Luffy and has power close to his. It won't be easy. Crocodile won't grab him and hit him easy with his speed. Crocodile wins, but not easy fight fight on both sides.

It is to help find weakness and how to deal opponent effectively. His fight with Bon Clay shows that.

That was Luffy before Gears. He isn't as fast as Sanji in speed though. Got give props to other stats than others that time. Not saying Sanji will win, but it be tricky how Crocodile get passed Sanji just like with Luffy.

I don't see Crocodile tanking Anti-Manner Kick as a 'tickle'. Moment he gets wet, he won't brush off offense of Sanji the same with Luffy. Eventually he get Sanji, but not easy one.

I don't think Crocodile will struggle at all with sanji. Maybe it will take slightly longer to get him than Luffy but Sanji is going to be a minor annoyance at best tbh

Sanji needs to make contact to deal damage, just as Luffy did. Difference is, rubber helped Luffy survive dehydration, whereas I highly doubt a drop of water would help Sanji recover from dehydration.

What you mean with Rubber? Because it's more absorbent than regular body?

No idea, but Luffy recovered from an extremely severe dehydration with ONE drop of water. Something's odd here, if it's not related to his rubber body.

Rubber properties helped Luffy survive the hook.

But aside from knowing Crocodile's weakness you'd need range. Sanji didn't have that back then.

So he loses.
