Nah, it definitely is.
We've already seen Kaido fight her, and it looked by no means that he'd low-dif her. I don't care if Kaido wasn't going to kill her; you can be serious and not bloodlusted. And I saw you and some other people use the 'she knows how Kaido fights' excuse, like Kaido is a complicated fighter, and that would give Yamato a big boost. There's also one thing that point ignores; if Yamato knows how Kaido fights, in this case, the reverse is the same. Kaido also knows how Yamato fights.
Her squaring off with Kaido one on one is definitely better than anything Marco has done. For the longest Marco's biggest feats were squaring off with Admirals evenly. Yamato's feats have her square off with an even stronger character and actually damage him and have a back and forth. As for Law and Kidd, I'd probably swap them with Yamato IF they actually beat Big Mam.
Advanced COC's potency is crazy. We've seen how it went in the Oden flashback during Roger vs Whitebeard. And even outside of that, it's the only move that has dropped a dragon type zoan in one hit. Page One was shrugging off hits from Raid Suit Sanji and post Udon Luffy yet got one shot by Big Mam with ACOC. It's potency is crazy, when mastered.
Let's wait and see. The next arc will give us a more accurate picture.
She'll likely join the strawhats, plus we will see Luffy using advanced conq on characters who can be damaged normally
Marco actually fought BM for a few chapters too IIRC, with the fighting ending with each going their separate ways, with BM commenting that she doesn't want to waste her time and energy putting him down. And he immediately went onto 1v2 King + Queen for hours, while spending energy healing up thousands of soldiers.
Law and Kid collectively already are Yonko tier. They've forced BM beyond her limits. The BM they're facing is on juice,
I'll admit I was wrong about low diff though. I re-read the fight, she did better than I had remembered.
She can give him to low-mid diff, mid diff if we're pushing it. I think you have to be admiral tier to push Kaido to any further difficulty, don't think she (or anyone among allies except Luffy) is admiral level.
Nah King is being overestimated. His defense is great... i guess. But that doesnt put him above any of the YC1s. What is so great about a great defense if you cant defeat anybody. Katakuri would be able to get around that Defense with his block mochi eventually. Kata has better feats than King.
King has no Advance anything.
His attacks are rather dull, the only good attack is his Dragon Fire.
His speed isnt that great compared to Kata's FS.
The fire is like whatever.
What base kick from Luffy had Kata leaking? Kata endured G4 attacks better than Doffy did. Some people say G4 Boundman > Kata but I disagree. Kata had his guard down and Boundman took advantage. But as soon as he got his composure, Boundman had no effects on Kata.
So this "bas kick" has nothing on Kata.
Nah, block mochi isn't getting past King's defence mode. No way at all.
Block Mochi was stronger than G4 Luffy's punches, but not by much. Beginning of Wano G4 Luffy did zero damage to Kaido.
King can no sell attacks from rooftop Zoro. Rooftop Zoro's attacks can damage Kaido and BM considers them threatening enough to warn Kaido to dodge. None of which are possible for beginning of Wano Luffy
King is above Katakuri in pretty much all stats, except CQC (due to future sight). The dude is a speedy/offence type ancient Zoan.
King's attack power is around same level as Zoro's, prior to him getting advanced conqueror's. Zoro's attack power was definitely above Katakuri's, prior to getting advanced conq (considering his feats rooftop).
King is above Zoro in speed/CQC as well, and is physically stronger. King was also faster than Sanji in his raid suit.
Katakuri vs Luffy was significantly more impressive, because:
- it's a Luffy's arc fight
- it happened when the characters were significantly weaker than they are currently.
We can't just look at their performance and judge them with the same standards.
A fight between King and Katakuri will be extreme diff. They are close in overall PL, with each having their own strengths.
Katakuri's future sight allows him to time his attacks well to land hits on King in his offence mode.
King is speedy enough in his offence mode to land some hits, even though Katakuri will obviously dodge most of them thanks to future sight. King has good AOE with his fire attacks, and AOE counters Katkuri's fighting style with future sight (there is only so much you can tweak you body).
