This is a new One Piece spinoff which has just started. The first chapter has been released and it has been translated into the Chinese language at the moment. The artist's name is stated at the bottom of the cover page - 安藤英. He is Oda's assistant.

This first chapter is only an introduction to get the "party" going. It has hinted of a new nakama. More characters will be introduced. As for now, I guess the authors are only putting the Straw Hat crew up on stage since they are the main casts.

I wanna join the "party" too.

Eh so the manga was on break because of the spinoff? I really doubt that, I think it was just the time Oda usually takes a break.
I have mixed feelings about this spinoff, while I do like the fact that it's lighthearted, it didn't make me laugh that much, except for the part where Luffy eats noodles from Wanze's nose. I guess I'll wait for the translation.

When I look at the cover page, there is a little white tiger at the bottom, I wonder if this is the hint to the new nakama. Whether he is or not, there should be a reason for him to be there as part of the Straw Hat crew. If we look carefully, the 9 members of Straw Hat are gathered in the cover page with the exception of the white tiger who isn't one of them. I can't help it but think that it is the new guy for the Crew.

What do you guys think?

Well I think that it would be pretty darn awesome if the new nakama is a female from wano, and it turns out that she's a badass white tiger zoan user. I mean the straw hats already have a herbivore zoan (chopper) so why not have a deadlier, more combat-oriented carnivorous zoan as well? Would be so great!

Tiger = Tora and Luffy calls Law as Tora (tiger) - O (man) so maybe it's Law. Though I think it's more like sub-division like Jinbei with his Sun pirates

LOL when Law proposed that pirate alliance with Luffy, he kind of sealed his own fate. With Luffy's selfishness, Law would become Luffy nakama sooner or later

Hmm the Tora connection is interesting, but Law has already been portrayed as a snow leopard, not a tiger. There's even a figure:

I doubt Fujitora would join Straw hat since he is marine admiral unless he quits being one. The chance of Kuzan joining in is much higher than Fujitora right now.

I really doubt that Oda would give a hint about the identity of the new nakama like that. Has it already done before? It would help to know before we go wild with our theories . My post was merely to point out that Issho is the other person with a connection to a tiger, maybe more than Law. I do not believe that him or Law are going to join.Maybe that tiger is a whole new character they'll meet in this spinoff? I'd like that, I like animal themed characters like Chopper and Bepo

That would be right. This series is published in Saikyo Jump, a monthly magazine, has no relation to the publishing schedule of Shonen Jump.
